  2. Away from home…….

That day I accidentally read an article in popular. It was about the how the life of the author has lived alone away from his warmth home. The author was work as a small officer in a small company. Every day, he has to put his boss frustration on him. He also had to beware of his colleges that will betray him at anytime and anywhere. Besides this, he also has financial problems because he doesn’t know how to manage his salary. He spent over what he has earned every month. Sometimes, he will be afraid by chasing out from the house by his landlord due to he can’t afford the rent. On the other hand, he also had to think what he wants to eat every meal. This is due to him always eating take away. It had been a long time since he tastes his mother cooking. All of this had let him remind of how good his hometown was. And he started to regret about leaving his hometown. If in before, he stayed in home, he does not need to worry about all these domestics’ problems. All of this will be solved by his family. He doesn’t need to think about what to eat on this meal, no one will be chasing him out of house, all his laundry will be done by his mum, and so on……..
This author feeling about living alone that is away from home was quite similar to us. Now, we are studying at UMP, away from hometown, away from the warmth of family. Although this will be a little tough to us to use the new lifestyle, but it was a new experience to us. We will learn how to tolerance with each other, take care of ourselves and also lived independently!!!

    Fast Eaters Get Fat

People who ate quickly and who ate until they were full were three times more likely to be obese. The research supports previous evidence that people tend to consume more calories when they eat quickly, but also that eating quickly is linked to obesity regardless of how many calories are eaten.
Dr Elizabeth Denney-Wilson, an obesity expert from the University of New South Wales, says research suggests people can learn to eat more slowly and recognise their internal cues for fullness. She adds that while it is not known what drives us to eat quickly, behaviour such as eating while distracted and eating fast food on the go may be to blame.Setting aside meal times and chatting between bites can help slow the rate of eating and allow your body to send fullness signals before you've overeaten.

    Article source:http://www.readersdigest.com

Before this I never know that when we eating fast,we will get fat. We always eat fast when we are rushing to do work and want to save our time. Consequencely,we will get distended and fat body. Not only the calory of food but the behaviour of people while eating food will bring their body to get fat. Therefore, start from now we need to eat slowly but not too slow.

I've been reading about a article that punish a child with a terrible way just for stealing a bread.A 8 years old child had been starving for two days and no way to turn to he decided to steal bread to survive. However, thing turns out worst and he got caught by the shopkeeper.
So the people conduct their own religious punishment which is one must lost the hand that steal thing without any judgment or approval.Poor child just being forced by a group of so call "judges" to conduct the punishment. He was lying on the floor with the hand of stealing on the pillow.Next, his hand will be run over by a big truck which very heavy enough to break his hand.He will lose his hand forever in a very young age. This is cruel thing that i ever seen.It is the way to treat a innocent people with so much heavy way. They are not even have the time to think their mistakes and try to change.I think this thing should not be happened in the modern world nowadays.Fair judgment needed to every crime committed. We cannot play god in this advance era.Everyone deserved second chance.Hopefully world will be peaceful forever.

    Umami: The 5th Taste

I came across this article yesterday in internet. The title capture my attention; "Umami- The 5th Taste".

    http://blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2008/12/umamichemistry.html

When we were in grade school, many of us learned that there were four basic tastes: sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Now there's a new taste to learn and it's called umami (pronounced "oo-mommy"). What exactly is the umami taste? Well, there's no English word that's synonymous with umami, however it's most often described as a "savory" or "meaty" taste.
The key's taste of this umami is "glutamate" that is also known as nature's flavor enhancer. What capture me most in this article is that Monosodium Glutamate, often referred to as "MSG" also provide Umami taste in the food. MSG to me is not something good. I would avoid consuming it too much. However reading the article acknowledge me about the new 5th taste.

I had read a short story about a group of people who protect the city from becoming worst or unsafe place to live.Because of many rules and law ,their way of action to protect the city are being limited or restricted. So they decide to carry on their own way to still protecting the city.In the end they become the most wanted people of the police as they conducted many crime but to catch the bad guy.So they decide to hide themselves for a while.During this period some of the heroes were killed by the someone that want them to be disappear or hatred.Because of this the heroes decide to emerge and find the killer and start all over to safe the city. They encouter a series of sadness, confusion, excitement through the new journey until some of them lost their track and turn out to be a bad guy instead.
I think in this story i have learn about how things change people if they do not hold their principles well.Oneself is easily distracted by tempting stuff. We must stick to our own principles no matter how hard it is as with those principles we can assure ourselves are in the right track without losing our aim or desire

Actually i have no idea what have read already but still got one article attract my attention which is about human eating human. It is so disgust to talk about but i insist to tell, hopefully as an awareness to public about what had people become nowadays. In Japan, the people eat the brain of human being and they feel like it without any shameness.Even worst they also eat the fetus which are died before being born or died after born.It is so terrible to see things like these.I feel like vomit when look at the picture shown. However they seem like enjoy it.Feel piss off of what they were doing.Nowadays people are being selfish and do not think of other. They do not want to be normal until they want become cannibal which look different from other.I think the more high technology the countries, the worst their ethical of life and moral values. We must bear in mind that everything we have done must be returned back to ourselves so be responsible to what you going to do.Don't be too selfish until trouble others.

Earlier Tuesday, the North said it has provided necessary information for the safe navigation of planes and ships as part of preparations for launching "an experimental communication satellite."The nuclear armed North has asserted its right to peaceful space research and says any attempt to shoot down its rocket will be seem as an act of war.
Asked whether a launch would violate the UN resolution,Borodaukin replied :"Lets us wait and see what will be the real technical parameters of the launch.
After i read about this articles, i would like to express my feeling.Sometimes we did not know whether an invention of sophisticated technology would bring advantages or disadvantages to our society.

  13. amazing artworks...
i first saw these handpaintings in reader's digest magazine one or two years ago...it was rare but interesting...then i search on the internet to know further and i saw lots of other pieces by the same artist...it was actually painting on the hand...and of course using hand...
the painter was Guido Daniele, an Italian artist but i dont know much about him...
for me it was amazing!!!! the concept is simple,by just using your hands you can create a masterpiece...just let your imagination runs wild...(go to my blog to see the pictures.(http://mynameisafifah.blogspot.com/)
there are also body paintings which use the same concept by painting on the body... i dont prefer this kind of artwork because it contains nudity and all kind of that which i dont think its good for children as well as people like us to see it..although it was something different, im just not into it....moderate kind of art should be enough for me...ill just have to say that if im going to create an artwork, ill make sure that ill set a good example and all people around the world from all ages can see my artwork without feeling embarassed or what so ever...lastly, i just want to say
"art is not just about what you do,it is also about what other people see and the message behind it"

To be honest, I’m not the person that likes to read article about the complicated science. But I can said that I also read it but not enough to talk about it. When we talk about reading, I think I could talk also about novels that I have read before. I can’t remember the title of the novel but I will talk about it as short as I can. A family has adopted a child but the problem is that family did not mention that he was not their family members actually. More tragically, the mother also did know about it because the mother has given a birth too but the child was died. The father did not want to let his wife to be sad because that was the second time their babies died. Then, their son becomes an adult and one day he knows that he was not their son. He runs away from his home but then lastly he back too. Back to the mother, she then also knows about it and get heart attack and unfortunately she died.
What I’m going to say is it is important to let family members and also the child know that he was an adopted. Back to the reality I’ve heard that an adopted child run away from house and never come back anymore because of it. He could not accept that he only an adopted child.
I think after this I have to read more articles, because I think I’m the first one talk about novels.

  15. Recently I read about an article about the battle of red cliffs, since i watch the movie i wanted to know about the real story behind it. The real location for the battle has been debated by a lot of scholars, and until now no exact location was determined to be the place for that battle. The battle was held between the northern coalition lead by cao cao, and the southern coalition lead by liu bei and allies. This battle is a classic example where more superior army doesn't determine victory, but smart usage of resources and knowledge. Cao cao lead an army of 800000 thousand man strong against 50000 of southern coalition army, and yet suffer defeat. If you want to know more, make sure to wiki about it.

The bad guys can use these to blackmail and threaten us. You won't know where and when you will be taken nude pictures. The world nowadays is becoming unsafe. So please take care of yourselves especially for ladies. Stay in group and never go out alone especially at night. Always be alert to surrounding...watch out

hye you all.Recently, I read my friends blog.In her blog,I'm interested on one of her entry which is 5 things I can't live without..the 5 things are:

    1. Family: Family is very important to me. They bring out the best and worst. They are my shoulder to cry on when I needed them, and they are always my helping hand. They are the people we can always turn to and they know me so well.

    2. Friends: Friends means everything to me. When I'm feeling down they give me support and affection. They are not afraid to tell it like it is, even if the truth hurts.

    3. A computer: I can’t live without my computer. A day without a computer = a day without oxygen.

    4. An internet connection: Well, without an internet connection I’m pretty sure that my life will be empty. So, no internet = no happiness.

5.Cell phone: There are many things I can live without, but my cell phone is one piece of technology I must have with me all time.

After read her post I'm really agree with her..As a teenager, we are like to enjoy.Especially as a UMP student, they are far from town and they more prefer to stay in their campus.Same with me, I prefer to stay in my room then go for an outing. If we go hang out with friends at town,of course we should spend a lots of money. This is because we should pay for car rent and petrol used.It is not include our meals and our things to buy. So,it is more reliable to stay at campus.
In the campus, even there nothing to do,but here we got the wireless in all area in the UMP.We can access the internet when ever we want and where ever we go as we are in our campus. We can get anything from internet. So, no wonder as a student here we can't live without internet. This because we are always serve the internet. If the internet server down,we will feel very bored.
Same as computer and cell phone.Without it,we feel very bored and we can't contacts our friends. It will bring us to sleep. So,as a conclusion we can't live without 5 things which are family, friends, computer, internet connection and cell phone..hehehe

  18. Salam...hi...i have been reading an article about bully...Bullying is the act of intentionally causing harm to others, through verbal harassment, physical assault, or other more subtle methods of coercion such as manipulation. Bullying can be defined in many different ways. Although the UK currently has no legal definition of bullying,[2] some US states have laws against it. Bullying is usually done to coerce others by fear or threat.[3]

Bullying in school and the workplace is also referred to as peer abuse.

In colloquial speech, bullying often describes a form of harassment perpetrated by an abuser who possesses more physical and/or social power and dominance than the victim. The victim of bullying is sometimes referred to as a target. The harassment can be verbal, physical and/or emotional. Sometimes bullies will pick on people bigger or smaller than their size. Bullies hurt people verbally and physically. There are many reasons for that. One of them is because the bullies themselves are or have been the victim of bullying[4][5][6] (e.g. a bullying child who is abused at home, or bullying adults who are abused by their colleagues).

Many programs have been started to prevent bullying at schools with promotional speakers. Bullying consists of two types - verbal and physical.

Norwegian researcher Dan Olweus defines bullying as when a person is "exposed, repeatedly and over time, to negative actions on the part of one or more other persons." He defines negative action as "when a person intentionally inflicts injury or discomfort upon another person, through physical contact, through words or in other ways."[7]

Bullying can occur in any setting where human beings interact with each other. This includes school, church, the workplace, home and neighborhoods. It is even a common push factor in migration. Bullying can exist between social groups, social classes and even between countries

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in South Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.

He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore. His father, working in the yard, saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, he ran toward the water, yelling to his son as loudly as he could.

Hearing his voice, the little boy became alarmed and made a U-turn to swim to his father. It was too late.

Just as he reached his father, the alligator reached him.

From the dock, the father grabbed his little boy by the arms just as the alligator snatched his legs. That began an incredible tug-of-war between
the two. The alligator was much stronger than the father, but the father was much too passionate to let go.

A farmer happened to drive by, heard his screams, raced from his truck, took aim and shot the alligator.

Remarkably, after weeks and weeks in the hospital, the little boy survived. His legs were extremely scarred by the vicious attack of the animal.

And, on his arms, were deep scratches where his father's fingernails dug into his flesh in his effort to hang on to the son he loved.

The newspaper reporter who interviewed the boy after the trauma, asked if he would show him his scars.

The boy lifted his pant legs. And then, with obvious pride, he said to the reporter,

"But look at my arms. I have great scars on my arms, too. I have them because my Dad wouldn't let go."

You and I can identify with that little boy.

    We have scars, too.

No, not from an alligator, but the scars of a painful past. Some of those scars are unsightly and have caused us deep regret. But, some wounds, my friend, are because God has refused to let go.

In the midst of your struggle, He's been there holding on to you.

The Scripture teaches that God loves you. You are a child of God. He wants to protect you and provide for you in every way. But sometimes we
foolishly wade into dangerous situations, not knowing what lies ahead. The swimming hole of life is filled with peril - and we forget that the enemy is waiting to attack.

That's when the tug-of-war begins - and if you have the scars of His love on your arms, be very, very grateful.

He did not and will not ever let you go.

This is what i got from a email. It's very touching. How great is a Father's love to his son and how much more Our Heavenly Father, our Creator loves us and never let us go no matter what we are and where we are.

  20. what causes the global warming?

scientists have determined that a number of human activities are contributing to global warming by adding excessive amounts of greenhouse gases to the atmosphere. greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide accumulate in the atmosphere and trap heat that normally would exit into outer space. while many greenhouse gases occur naturally and are needed to create the greenhouse effect that keeps the earth warm enough to support life, human use of fossil fuels is the main source of exoess greenhouse gases. by driving cars, using electricity from coal-fired power plants, or heating our homes with oil or natural gas, we release carbon dioxide and other heat-trapping gases into the atmosphere. deforestation is another significant source of greenhouse gases, because fewer trees mean less carbon dioxide conversion to oxygen.
as the concentration of greenhouse gases grows, more heat trapped in the atmosphere and less escape back into space. this increase in trapped the climate and alters weather patterns, which may hasten species extinction, influence the length of seasons, cause coastal flooding and lead to more frequent and severe storms.

  23. Hello everyone!! I have read an article regarding the benefits of eggs. What I mean is poultry eggs. According to the article, there are 10 benefits we can get from this poultry product.
    1. Eggs are great for the eyes. An egg a day may prevent macular degeneraton due to the carotenoid content, specifically lutein and zeaxanthin. Both nutrients are more readily available to our bodies from eggs than from other sources.
    2. People who eat eggs every day lower their risk of developing cataracts, also because of the lutein and zeaxanthin in eggs.
    3. One egg contains 6 grams of high-quality protein and all 9 essential amino acids.
    4. There is no significant link between egg consumption and heart disease. In fact, regular consumption of eggs may help prevent blood clots, stroke, and heart attacks.
    5. They are a good source of choline. One egg yolk has about 300 micrograms of choline. Choline is an important nutrient that helps regulate the brain, nervous system, and cardiovascular system.
    6. They contain the right kind of fat. One egg contains just 5 grams of fat and only 1.5 grams of that is saturated fat.
    7. New research shows that, contrary to previous belief, moderate consumption of eggs does not have a negative impact on cholesterol. In fact, recent studies have shown that regular consumption of two eggs per day does not affect a person's lipid profile and may, in fact, improve it. Research suggests that it is saturated fat that raises cholesterol rather than dietary cholesterol.
    8. Eggs are one of the only foods that contain naturally occurring vitamin D.
    9. Eggs may prevent breast cancer. In one study, women who consumed at least 6 eggs per week lowered their risk of breast cancer by 44%.
    10. Eggs promote healthy hair and nails because of their high sulphur content and wide array of vitamins and minerals. Many people find their hair growing faster after adding eggs to their diet, especially if they were previously deficient in foods containing sulphur or B12.

After reading this article, now I realize why my mother prepare a breakfast for me everyday which must consists two half-boiled eggs. “Good for your brain,” she says to me everytime I ask her. Well, until now, I still continue on that diet. Each day, I include maximum two eggs in my meal…

  24. Herodotos of Halicarnassus (Greek: Ἡρόδοτος Ἁλικαρνᾱσσεύς Hēródotos Halikarnāsseús) was a Greek historian who lived in the 5th century BC (c. 484 BC–c. 425 BC) and is regarded as the "Father of History" in Western culture. He was the first historian to collect his materials systematically, test their accuracy to a certain extent and arrange them in a well-constructed and vivid narrative.[1] He is almost exclusively known for writing The Histories, a record of his "inquiries" (or ἱστορίαι, a word that passed into Latin and took on its modern meaning of history) into the origins of the Greco-Persian Wars which occurred in 490 and 480-479 BC—especially since he includes a narrative account of that period, which would otherwise be poorly documented, and many long digressions concerning the various places and peoples he encountered during wide-ranging travels around the lands of the Mediterranean and Black Sea. Although some of his stories are not completely accurate, he states that he is only reporting what has been told to him.

  25. What do u know about the traditional treatment???this time I want to tell to all of u about Homeopathy .Actually the book ‘Medicine of Organelles’ from German is 95% is taken from the Avicenna’s book, who is muslim. It was begun to be used in German during the Nazi’s ruler, called Hitler. He used this treatment for the health of his soldiers. It medicine called Natropaty b cause it is from plant. To compare the efficiency of this treatment with modern treatment we can see that thi treatment for stroke we just need about 2 or 3 theraphy so we can already walk but the modern takes time 2 or 3 years but the effect is not very well or you cannot see the effect and need to pay the high cost. The pioneer of this treatment in German was Samuel Hanimann and that time was world war-2.The method of this treatment for example is the doctor will tell you which part that u feel pain, left or right brain if you get headache before the treatment.

  26. What u know about acupuncture???This traditional treatment came from China about 2000 years ago.But in Europe it is found that the acupuncture has existed 5000 years ago. This is based on the finding of mummy called Ubzi by the archeologist. When that mummy beamed by x-ray there is the narrow hole and it is believed acupuncture point. But people still respect that this treatment came from China because they are already use for a long time. This treatment can treat the drug addict,Heroin type(natural drug) because it can trigger to produce Dopamine hormone in brain. It is also act as a bius before an operation. In our body there are 12 prior acupunture points and each point has their division.Chinese use the YIN and Yang concept where the Yin Yang will unstable when somebody get ill.Chinese also believe that there is Chi energy in our body.If this energy is stopped needle will be used at the acupuncture point to aloow the energy to flow.

Actually I suppose to send my first blogging during end of February but because of certain changes made by blogspot and I have to make an account in this blog in order to send one so that's make me delay it until today... what I've read during that time (end of Febraury) let me recall back. I think the hottest news was about the political issue in Perak. I think the issue was overwhelmed and it shouldn't be. The politics in Malaysia right now quite unhealthy which affects our economy and social life. The over-politicking in Malaysia has made foreign investors to reconsider their investments in Malaysia because they afraid their investments are not profitable.

  29. Are You Too Sexy For Your Name?
I’ve been reading an article about a person name. How attractive are you? It's not just about the clothes you wear or the car you drive. It could also depend partly on your name.
Linguist Amy Perfors of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in the US placed photos with prominent names on the ''Hot or Not'' website, which allows viewers to rank strangers' photos. Each photo was posted at different times with different names.
She found that men labelled with names including ''front vowels'' – sounds produced in the front of the mouth such as the ''aaa'' in Matt – were rated as more attractive than photos labelled with ''back vowel'' names, such as the ''aw'' sound in Paul. The opposite was true for women.
But if you're thinking of changing your name, don't go too far – the study also found men with women's names were rated least attractive of all.

  30. Where does the saying “once in a blue moon” come from and what does it mean?

The expression “once in a blue moon” means occasionally or rarely. For example, a less-than-active person goes to the gym once in a blue moon. The term “blue moon,” however, has had many different meanings over the centuries. Its usage can be traced back to a 1528 text in which it described something absurd. The term then evolved to mean never.

It is believed that at some point in the 19th century, “blue moon” took on a literal meaning: when dust from volcanic eruptions and/or smoke from forest fires in the air made the moon appear somewhat blue. These were fairly rare occurrences, hence the term “once in a blue moon” – the meaning of which has not changed.

Many people today believe that a blue moon is the second full moon in a calendar month and is part of folklore, and that it was behind the origin of the expression. However, “this is incorrect,” says folklorist Philip Hiscock of Memorial University in Canada. Unfortunately, “the false information spread with the popularity of the board game Trivial Pursuit, whose researchers took the description from a 1985 children’s almanac, which took it from a 1980 radio show, which, in turn, took it from a 1946 magazine article – where the mistake originated.”

The 1946 magazine article’s erroneous description of a blue moon was a misinterpretation of the Maine Farmers’ Almanac’s definition of a blue moon, which described a blue moon as the fourth full moon in a season that usually had three. The article’s writer wrongly assumed that if there was an extra full moon in a season, then there must have been two in one calendar month.

  31. Healthy Emotion

The word emotion itself means to express or get out. Yet often time’s emotion leads to unsatisfactory results. Since people in general do not have healthy emotion, and we imitate people - namely our parents, siblings, and other caregivers - we imitate this deviation from healthy emotion right from the start. One easy illustration is 'controlling' emotion - which really means stopping it. If we learned also an appropriate time and place for expression of emotion, this control could become useful. This repression of emotion takes a great energetic toll on the body mind. One of the famous person said "The only negative emotion is an unresolved emotion." Truly resolution defines emotion. This strange energy of unexpressed emotion is a poison to us. The emotion must be allowed to run its course. We now come to the why: Why have emotion at all? The five basic emotions are fear, anger, joy, compassion, and grief. This leads into our final point: What does healthy emotion look like? We all have experience of two basic modes of expression: one kind gives energy, the other drains us. Notice that if a person didn't say "feels good" - this is because expression of negative emotions often seems to feel good. There is a movement of energy with negative emotion, but it is energy moving out of us. Healthy emotion always refreshes us. After practice, careful observation, and a tabulating of results, you will begin to notice a definite 'taste' to both healthy emotion and negative emotion.

  33. I have read an article about emotion.

Emotion is a mental and physiological state associated with a wide variety of feelings, thoughts, and behavior. Emotions are subjective experiences, or experienced from an individual point of view. Emotion is often associated with mood, temperament, personality, and disposition.

Control emotion can be one of the biggest struggles in life. Learning to control emotion is a very important part of life.
Everybody has them but the last time I checked, not many have control over their own.
everyone seems to have them from time to time, and to varying degrees. Sometimes Emotional Problems, depending upon their severity, only affect our emotions, and many times they affect our body, often without our awareness.

    1. `Smile.’ smile will let people know that you are pleasant and inviting. If you smile at someone, look them in the eye. For the most part, if you smile at someone, they won't do anything but smile back. If they don't, then maybe they are just having a bad day. It is up to you to set the mood of the encounter. Make it happy by being the first to smile. Normally, making faces or moody looks at someone is not nice.
    2. `Say hello.’ When you're walking past someone, even a stranger, try to acknowledge their presence with simple "hello" or "hi" or even just a wave or a nod in their direction.
    3. `Ask people how they are doing.’ Take the time to ask someone how things are going in their lives, without being nosy or intrusive. If they seem resistant to talking, just let them know that you're always around to talk to, and that you want them to be alright.
    4. `Be a good listener.’ Listen when other people are talking to you. It isn't nice to just ignore other peoples' opinions and stories.
    5. `Be courteous.’ Always say "please," "thank you" and "you're welcome." You can also address people by sir or ma'am, depending on the occasion. Be patient, observant, and considerate. Treat people with respect. Even if you don't particularly like someone at first, they could end up being a really interesting and kind person. Don't forget "Excuse me" instead of `move!’.
    6. `Be positive.’ Keep looking for the positive in any given situation. Cheer them up.
    7. `Be humble.’ Remember that you are not "better" than someone else. You're an individual, but everybody has their struggles, and being nice to one another makes life better for everyone.
    8. `Offer to help.’ If you see someone struggling or doing anything, offer to help, even doing something as simple as carrying a bag of groceries, or hold the door for someone. You can also be nice to the community and the world by volunteering.
    9. `Be sincere.’ Don't be nice as a means to an end. If you just want to be nice so that you can gain preferential treatment, it's quite the opposite of being nice, shallow and cruel. Be nice because you want to look back on your life and know that you were a nice person, no matter what.

  35. well,i very love to watch cartoon honestly eventhought i already 21 years old..
Here, I would like to tell your guys a little bit about my most favourite cartoon animated, Avatar the last airbander..

Aang, a child Avatar, is an airbender – he has paranormal powers over the air element. His quest is to learn how to master the other elements, earth, water, and fire, so that he can bring the four nations (each associated with one of the four elements) back in harmony.

The term "Avatar" is a Sanskrit term meaning "descent." It is used in Hinduism to describe the incarnation of a Hindu deity, usually the god Vishnu, who visits earth to help humanity at a crisis point. Vishnu has allegedly appeared nine times in various guises (including as the Buddha) throughout history, and will come again. However, the term "avatar" has migrated into popular alternative spiritualities and usually describes a spiritually advanced being that comes to earth to guide people, sometimes without the need for birth; the Avatar merely incarnates at will as an adult."Avatar" is also used to designate a computerized personal image used for online identification, no doubt deriving from the original meaning of incarnation. The "Avatar" cartoon features a child Avatar named Aang.

What attract me most is the nations are divided into four groups and named for the four elements - water, earth, air, and fire.
The four elements are an integral part of occult practices such as astrology, modern Witchcraft, magick, and several others. Merely having the nations represent the four elements is not in and of itself necessarily a concern. However, combining this fact with other aspects of the series ties it into an occult worldview.

Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called
the "benders" who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate
their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and
    elemental magic.

Starting with the mastery of his or her native element, the Avatar learns
to bend all four elements. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations
of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony.
The Avatar is the bridge between this world and the real world, and Aang travels to it when he needs help. Here is a list of some of the spirits we have met so far.

  36. Why don't cats like to swim?

Many people think that cats are afraid of water. They're not. Occasionally, one can see a cat pounce spontaneously into the water. Nature documentary fans can attest to the fact that many of the cats' larger relatives, such as tigers and jaguars, love to swim.

So why isn't your cat likely to stick a paw into the pool? For the same reasons it always drives you nuts: it has a cleanliness fetish, and it's lazy. Your cat refuses to have a good time.

It won't get wet because it figures it isn't worth the effort needed to dry and clean itself with its tongue to enjoy something as superficial as marine frolic. Unless you starve it and stock your pool with fish, your cat is likely to remain landlocked.

  37. Meaning of Roses

The meaning of roses: the color of roses; the number of roses each has got their meaning. Do you know that 11 roses represent "You are my treasured one; the one I love most in my life" whereas 15 roses represent "I am truly sorry, please forgive me"? Now isn't that a total twist of the meaning for the roses you gave? What had meant to be a message of love has just turned into a message of apology; implying you was guilty of something?

Before you try to impress that someone with that bouquet of roses, make sure you know the meaning behind it, the meaning of roses; what the number of roses represent.

Hi. I've read about loneliness. People feel lonely for a number of reasons, such as not having enough friends, not knowing how to be close to the people you know, or not being accepted by those you try to be friend. There some tips to avoid loneliness.

    1. Join an online community. Sometimes it can help. If you're willing to help others as well as being helped yourself, check out the free Phone Buddies peer counseling community.

    2. When feeling lonely, don't allow yourself to bask in your loneliness. Do something, anything! Take a walk, ride your bike.

    3. Engage yourself in some activity that would keep your mind occupied.

    4. Consider getting a pet! Animals can make marvelous companions; they give unconditional love, and can offer you loyal company.

  39. Patience

Animals act upon instinct. Humans, however, can think.
Everyone has been in a situation where they just rushed things, and later wished they had taken things slowly. When animals are in a state of panic, they generally tend to act on instinct and don't think about what they are doing. They just blindly do whatever their instinct tells them. Fortunately for us, through many years of evolution, we have developed something no other animal has. By rationalizing and making sense of a situation, we can “bypass” our first instinct and control what we do. This allows us to think things through and plan our actions, even if we are in a tough situation.

By simply taking a moment to breathe deeply and tell yourself to calm down, you will find that you can think more clearly. You should set your priorities, find what matters most, find that outcome you want, and plan a series of actions that will lead you to that outcome.

I know what you are thinking, “It is easier said than done.” Well yes, it is easier said than done, but by at least trying to calm down, you will get better results.

You should try the following in any situation:

    Calm down
    Make sense of the situation
    Set your priorities
    Find the outcome you want
    Plan your actions accordingly

  40. Giuseppe Pitrè, a nineteenth-century Sicilian physician, gathered an enormous wealth of folk and fairy tales as he traveled and treated the poor throughout Palermo. He also received tales from friends and scholars throughout the island of Sicily. A dedicated folklorist, whose significance ranks alongside the Brothers Grimm, he published a 25-volume collection of Sicilian folk tales, legends, songs, and customs between 1871 and 1914. Though first published in their original Sicilian dialect, these tales have never before been translated, collected, and published in English until now.

This historic two-volume set collects 300 and 100 variants of his most entertaining and most important folk and fairy tales, along with lively, vivid illustrations by Carmelo Lettere. In stark contrast to the more literary ambitions of the Grimms' tales, Pitré’s possess a charming, earthy quality that reflect the customs, beliefs, and superstitions of the common people more clearly than any other European folklore collection of the nineteenth century.

Edited, translated, and with a critical introduction by world-renowned folk and fairy tale experts Jack Zipes and Joseph Russo, this collection will firmly establish Pitrè’s importance as a folklorist.

  41. DO YOU HAVE A DIARY??

I use to have diary when I'm in secondary school.I wrote everthing in my diary.not miss even once..but then, one day my brother read my diary. What a mess!!!!.My secret, my feeling that no one should know all known in just a day!.Start that day, I never write any diary again. Its too late to scold my brother. So please do respect other diary, I really knew how 'hurt' it is.Just imagine if the same thing happend to you..

  42. Diary..

For inspiration, read other diary books, such as The Princess Diaries, The Diary of Anne Frank, Harriet the Spy, Dear Dumb Diary, Go Ask Alice, and the "Georgia Nicholson" series. But don't compare your writing or yourself to others; we are each unique and our lives and styles will naturally be different.
For guys it's okay to have a diary! Many men keep diaries; celebrity men even keep diaries. One of the most notable was Kurt Cobain, even though he had expressed his wishes of them never being seen they were. So guys, it's okay! Express your feelings, love and personality.
If you want to make it even more interesting, once you read your journal many years from now, write your entries humorously. It'll definitely make you laugh later.
It's always fun to write a letter to yourself. Write one of your own on the last page of your journal, and once you fill up all the pages, you can read the letter.
You can also keep a journal on your PC (Doogie Howser-style) and/or publish it for all to see in a blog, if you dare! You can keep it anonymous and publish under an alias if you prefer.
If you have nothing to write, write lists. It can be anything- a to-do list, a favorites list, a shopping list, a travel list etc.
Consider decorating the outside of your journal with stickers, drawings, photos, etc. Be creative and you'll be amazed at how much you express yourself that way.
Be honest in your diary. If you can't say what you really feel, what's the point?
Find a good hiding place so that you can write what you really feel without worrying about who will read it.
Whenever you have a thought that will not leave your head, write a note to yourself to explore it later in greater detail in your diary.

  43. WARNING FOR DIARY OWNER!!!

Make sure you know where your diary is at all times, especially if there is important/embarrassing information in it! If it has some ultra-top secret information, get a lock or get a diary with a lock and then hide it. Be careful not to drop it somewhere and forget about it.
Don't copy off others, this is your diary so make it your style!
Don't put things like credit card numbers in your diary.

  47. DETECTIVE CONAN
High-school mystery fan Shin'ichi Kudo is actually one of his high school's best minds, but he gets his reality checks from his childhood friend and almost-girlfriend Ran Mori. Nothing can keep Shin'ichi from a case, until he follows a suspicious man into a park, is accosted from behind, and fed a strange chemical which renders him unconscious. When he awakens, he has been transformed into a puny grade schooler!

The hapless boy finds a home with eccentric inventor Professor Agasa, who searches for a cure for his condition. While he's waiting to be restored to his adolescence, Shin'ichi takes on the name Conan Edogawa (borrowed from Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and the last name of the famous Japanese mystery writer Edogawa Ranpo). As Conan, he plays the part of the little brother that Ran never had, and helps her incompetent private-detective father solve all of the gruesome murder mysteries that come their way.
Jimmy Kudo, alias Conan Edogawa, is now physically stuck as a kid until further notice because his first lead on the Men in Black went nowhere. What's the shrunken Sherlock to do? It's elementary: elementary school.

At this early point in the series, Conan has managed to escape death, move into the detective agency, and call Rachel with his voice-altering bowtie to tell her that he's safe. With a transfer to Teitan Elementary School, it's from this semi-comfortable situation that his mystery adventures continue. In fact, expect all plot and character development to happen within cases. Volume 2 has three of them: the fire festival murder (Files 1-3), the missing person case (Files 4-7), and the haunted mansion case (Files 8-10).

Though the brilliant detective finds it painful to add "one plus one" again, he gets his old adrenaline rush of solving mysteries when Richard becomes a murderer's unwitting alibi. Equipped with super-powered sneakers, courtesy of Dr. Agasa - who proves himself very useful in this volume - Conan regains the ability to take down criminals singlehandedly. Or at least he thinks he does. The missing person case ends in tragedy, touching on Conan's greatest weakness: impatience. Conan might be cocky, but far worse is his habit of rushing to catch criminals - with or without help. While this dynamism makes Conan a hero, Agasa sagely points out that such risky business requires caution, especially where the Men in Black are concerned. This volume concludes on a lighter note by introducing Conan's new classmates, George, Mitch, and Amy, as they drag Conan into a spooky house that may or may not be haunted.

Since the story is still beginning to take shape in Volume 2 (in Japan, Aoyama is working on Volume 58), the highlights are character moments. Near the beginning, Richard expresses concern over Conan's missing parents and later wonders if Conan, who drops clever hints about each mystery, is more than what he seems. It's a refreshing break from Richard's beer swilling and Yoko worship! We also see Rachel fly into karate action again, leaping from the agency window and shattering a car door - which further proves that it's safer not to get on this girl's bad side. The dynamic between the gluttonous George, scientific Mitch, and cute Amy is not to be missed, either. Most of all, the second case's tragic ending touches the heart when, after the phantomlike Men in Black slip away, Conan tells a dying woman his real name.

  48. Why Is Recycling Important?

The main reasons why we should all recycle more are shown below:

    -Energy Saving
    -Material Conservation
    -Reduction Of Rubbish In Landfills
    -Helping The Environment

Energy saving is important if we are to reduce the future effects of global warming. If we recycle one aluminium can, we are able to save enough energy to run a TV for around 3 hours. This will obviously depend on the energy consumption of your TV, but it gives you a great idea as to just how much energy can be saved during the process of recycling products.

Conservation is becoming an increasingly important recycling issue. It is estimated that (in the U.S.A) around 40 million newspapers are cut down each day, resulting in the equivalent of around half a million trees ending up in landfills each and every week.

The reduction of landfills is important for cleaning up the environment, and giving land back to nature. The above information for conservation shows how much waste is sent to landfills in one week, just down to one product (the everyday newspaper).

We are able to help the environment by recycling in a number of ways. It is important that we recycle to achieve a reduction of not only existing landfills, but any future landfill developments which may be needed as a result of over capacity. We can also help the environment through conservation, as the reduction in deforestation saves the environment and the wildlife in these areas.
