READING ENTRY 2 (K22)

  1. Punishment

A friend sends a forward mail for me…. The content was a little bit shocking, that was about the punishment of a child in stealing.
A eight years old child was caught in stealing a bread in a supermarket in Iran. Thus, in the name of religion, he was punished by the adults. The punishment was put the arm of the child under the tyre and then let the car crushed over it!!!! I was so shocked to see this picture. How can they punish the child who was just stealing bread like this???? How can they so cruel and done this to that child?!?! Do they know the consequences of this punishment to that child? It will caused him became crimped all his life!!!!! Where are the conscious of all the human beings??? Maybe they were right in the name of religion, but do they really think about the reason behind the child? Why he wants to steal the bread? Is it too hungry? If that so, then they should not punished him first. They should educate him no matter under what circumferences, we should not stealing! We should get the things we want in a proper way!!!

  2. Problems

During last semester holidays, I met my former boss…. He says something that was meaningful to me and I would like to share with yours all. What he says was all based his experience…. He says, “when someone passed a problem to you, don’t just think that how difficult of that problem is, but think how can you solved it effectively? Let the problem not a burden to yourself or anyone else.” By thinking in this way, you will discover that the problem that you faced was no longer a problem. Instead, it may become an incident that will help you grown, become mature in handing problems or tension you have in your life. Therefore, do not just simply says that it is difficult to do it, unless you had try it before!!! If you don’t fry, how would you know it will be difficult or easy to you???

  3. Happiness???

I had reading an article before; it is about how can a person be happy???

There are many types of person in this world….All of us have different characteristic and personalities…. And with different methods, all of us will be happy! This is because under the same circumferences, all of us will have different moods…. For example, when a person lose the contest, definitely, he will felt sad and desperate because he felt that he had let down all the person who put hopes on him. Meanwhile, if think to the other sides, he will felt happy although he loses the contest, because he is contented to what he had, that is can took part in the competition.
Actually, there is a simplest way to be happy every day. You just need to smile more to everyone around you and then help more people that needed your helps! As you bring happiness to everyone besides you, you definitely will felt even happier than them!!!!!!

I've been reading about love article.Very touching one. There is a guy fall in love with a girl but the girl doesn't love her.The guy gives her a letter and write"I will do anything for you".So the girl thought it was a joke and writes back to him"wait me at the centre of road".After the guy received the message,he doesn't think much and really run to the centre of road.Accidentally,he been knock down by car.The girl shocked and run to hospital. She really doesn't know the guy will do anything she asks.As guilty, she decides to be with him.But deep down inside she is not into him.In two years, the girl doesn't happy to be with him as she has no feeling in him. Therefore she asks him why is her?The guy answers her that"there is no reason for me to fall in love with you,i love you is the matter only and i'll always love".The guy told her i'm not force you to stay with me and you can leave me any time as the guy feels that the girl had been fall in with somebody. But the girl doesn't willing to leave as guilty is the big problem. She cries and runs away without a direction. The guy chases her from behind and protect her when she runs out to road, and he is being knocked down by the car once again. This time he is more serious compare than the first time. The girl breaks down once again and in hospital the guy gives his last letter to her and then passes away. The girl cries non-stop while reading the letter."Am i too selfish,if before i didn't do the crazy thing, are you going to be freed from me and feel free to love the guy you love? Are you regret to be with me,i can't help to love you.If you read this letter which mean i'm not around anymore and i hope that you can pursue you own happiness,i will always love you and protect you.Sorry i can't choose to love you and i hope that your guilty will be away with my absent.Freed yourself and happy forever".When finish reading the letter the girl has been regret why she doesn't treasure a guy love her more than she loves him.During 5 years, she in love somebody that doesn't love her more than she loves him,she is sad what had happened 5 years ago,but there is no way to turn back.In a nutshell,we must treasure every moment when our mr. or mrs. right apppear and don't think the future just love as deep as possible for this moment and you won't regret in the future time.

    Economic Crisis
    http://thestar.com.my/news/story.asp?file=/2009/3/11/minibudget/3451180&sec=minibudget

Since end of year 2008, the world is having economic crisis as it is the latest global crisis.Countries all over the world are affected and face the same fate.I think the main cause that contribute for current phenomenon is GREED.

Over the years, mortgage lenders were happy to lend money to people who couldn’t afford their mortgages. But they did it anyway because there was nothing to lose. These lenders were able to charge higher interest rates and make more money on sub-prime loans. If the borrowers default, they simply seized the house and put it back on the market. On top of that, they were able to pass the risk off to mortgage insurer or package these mortgages as mortgage-backed securities. Easy money!

Actually the whole thing was one big scheme. Everything was great when houses were selling like hot cakes and their values go up every month. Lenders made it easier to borrow money, and the higher demand drove up house values. Higher house values means that lenders could lend out even bigger mortgages, and it also gave lenders some protection against foreclosures. All of this translates into more money for the lenders, insurers, and investors.

Unfortunately, many borrowers got slammed when their adjustable mortgage finally adjusted. When too many of them couldn’t afford to make their payments, it causes these lenders to suffer from liquidity issue and to sit on more foreclosures than they could sell. Mortgage-backed securities became more risky and worth less causing investment firms like Lehman Brothers to suffer.

These is why America's economy fall tremendously and that really affect the global economy since America is one of the giant country.

It is said that this is the worst economy recession over the centuries! There are jobless people everywhere and it is difficult for the lower income family to make a living. It is helpless!!

Luckily, our government has thrown out RM60 billion to avoid our country from falling into the cliff of recession. I'm grateful that I'm still studying. There are still 3 more years for me before entering the world of society.
Just hope that the recession will have a halt soon so all of us will have a better life...

  9. I had read about article about Oliver's love story.Oliver Barrett IV, who comes from a family of wealthy and well-respected Harvard University graduates. Partly to break the traditional Ivy League mold, the Harvard student meets and falls in love with Jennifer Cavelleri, a working-class, quick-witted Radcliffe College student. Upon graduation from college, the two decide to marry against the wishes of Oliver's father, who thereupon severs ties with his son.

Without his father's financial support, the couple struggles to pay Oliver's way through Harvard Law School with Jenny working as a private school teacher. Graduating third in his class, Oliver takes a position at a respectable New York law firm.

With Oliver's new income, the pair of 24-year-olds decide to have a child. After failing, they consult a medical specialist, who after repeated tests, informs Oliver that Jenny is ill and will soon die. Oliver then tries again. While this is not stated explicitly, she appears to have leukemia.

As instructed by his doctor, Oliver attempts to live a "normal life" without telling Jenny of her condition. Jenny nevertheless discovers her ailment after confronting her doctor about her recent illness. With their days together numbered, Jenny begins costly cancer therapy, and Oliver soon becomes unable to afford the multiplying hospital expenses. Desperate, he seeks financial relief from his father. Instead of telling his father what the money is truly for, Oliver misleads him.

From her hospital bed, Jenny speaks with her father about funeral arrangements, and then asks for Oliver. She tells him to avoid blaming himself, and asks him to embrace her tightly before she dies. When Mr. Barrett realizes that Jenny is ill and that his son borrowed the money for her, he immediately sets out for New York. By the time he reaches the hospital, Jenny is dead. Mr. Barrett apologizes to his son, who replies with something Jenny once told him: "Love means never having to say you're sorry."I felt so touching after i read this articles. We could not predict what may happen in next moment. We should appreciate the person around you.

Today I have read an article about Cultural Adjustment, would you CARE? Actually this article is about when we are going to a new place be it to work or study or live, we will surely face cultural shock. So we must prepare ourselves before we start our new life there. First, we have to say 'Goodbye' before we say 'Hello'. We need to have a proper closure to our old life. Second, we must accept the fact that we are in the period of transition because many of times we are not able to hold ourselves to our own standard as we probably be on a team. Thirdly, we need to be creative and flexible and fourth we need to find and use a support group as we need each other's help. We need to be vulnerable and be willing to ask for help. Lastly we need to keep a grateful heart and do not lose sight of the big picture as not everyone has the opportunity to experience this changes. So from this article I really learnt about some preparations that we need to adjust so that when we are stepping in a new environment we will have less negative band and shorter period of adjustment.

  13. The International Space Station (ISS) is a research facility currently being assembled in Low Earth Orbit. On-orbit construction of the station began in 1998, and is scheduled to be complete by 2011, with operations continuing until around 2015.[4] As of 2009[update], the ISS is the largest artificial satellite in Earth orbit, larger than any previous space station.[5]

The ISS programme is a joint project among the space agencies of the United States (NASA), Russia (RKA), Japan (JAXA), Canada (CSA) and ten European nations through the European Space Agency.[6] The Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) participates through a separate contract with NASA.[7] The Italian Space Agency similarly has separate contracts for various activities not done within the framework of ESA's ISS projects (where Italy also fully participates).[8] China has reportedly expressed interest in the project, especially if it would be able to work with the RKA, although as of 2009[update] it is not involved.[9][10]

The space station is in a Low Earth Orbit, and can be seen from Earth with the naked eye. It orbits at an altitude of approximately 350 km (190 nautical miles) above the surface of the Earth,[11][12][13] travelling at an average speed of 27,700 kilometres (17,210 mi) per hour, completing 15.7 orbits per day.[11]

The ISS has been continuously staffed since the first resident crew, Expedition 1, entered the station on 2 November 2000. This has provided a permanent human presence in space for the last &0000000000000008.0000008 years, &0000000000000139.000000139 days.[14] At present, the station has the capacity for a crew of three. However, to fulfil an active research programme, it will be staffed by a resident crew of six beginning with Expedition 20. The crew of Expedition 18 is currently aboard.[15][16]

Early crew members all came from the Russian and American space programmes until German ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter joined the Expedition 13 crew in July 2006, becoming the first crew member from another space agency. The station has been visited by astronauts from 16 different nations, and it was the destination of the first six space tourists.

  15. Love is any of a number of emotions and experiences related to a sense of strong affection[1] and attachment. The word love can refer to a variety of different feelings, states, and attitudes, ranging from generic pleasure to intense interpersonal attraction. The word love is both a verb and a noun. Love is not a single feeling but an emotion built from two or more feelings. Anything vital to us creates more than one feeling, and we also have feelings about our feelings (and thoughts about our feelings)[1]. This diversity of uses and meanings, combined with the complexity of the feelings involved, makes love unusually difficult to consistently define, even compared to other emotional states.

As an abstract concept, love usually refers to a deep, ineffable feeling of tenderly caring for another person. Even this limited conception of love, however, encompasses a wealth of different feelings, from the passionate desire and intimacy of romantic love to the nonsexual emotional closeness of familial and platonic love[2] to the profound oneness or devotion of religious love.[3] Love in its various forms acts as a major facilitator of interpersonal relationships and, owing to its central psychological importance, is one of the most common themes in the creative arts.

    Shower before going to bed
    http://clovetwo.com/articles/story.asp?file=/2009/3/23/healthnfitness/20090323085520&sec=healthnfitness

According to a recent survey conducted by CloveTWO.com and Kosmo! newspaper, only 44% shower right before going to bed. That means more than half of Malaysians hit the showers before they turn in for the day.

Taking shower before go to bed is essential to our hygiene. Well, simply because everyone, whatever their age, are constantly exposed to bacteria; at school, in the garden, at the office.

Then of course there's the little forgotten fact that the bed itself makes for the perfect breeding ground for all sorts of microorganisms. Dead skin cells, perspiration, the body's natural oils etc all contribute to making your bed the ideal harborage for bacteria, dust mites, and bed bugs. All these could lead to a wide range of health problems.

Sometimes when I am too lethargic, I didn't shower too before sleep.

    Sore Throats

I became interested to read this article because I see this symptoms frecuently occured this month in my class,my room, and at UMP. So I want to share to all of you about the symptoms and how to prevent it.

Sore throats can be painful and annoying. Fortunately, most sore throats are caused by a minor illness and go away without medical treatment.Several conditions can cause a sore throat are viral infections, bacterial infections, and irritants and injuries. Treatment for a sore throat depends on the cause. You may be able to use home treatment to obtain relief.
Because viral illnesses are the most common cause of a sore throat, it is important not to use antibiotics to treat them. Antibiotics do not alter the course of viral infections. Unnecessary use of an antibiotic exposes you to the risks of an allergic reaction and antibiotic side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, rashes, and yeast infections. Antibiotics also may kill beneficial bacteria and encourage the development of dangerous antibiotic-resistant bacteria.

Symptoms to Watch For During Home Treatment

Use the Check Your Symptoms section to evaluate your symptoms if any of the following occur during home treatment:
-Drooling or increased difficulty breathing develops.
-Inability to swallow or drink enough fluids develops.
    -A muffled voice develops.
-A new rash or fever develops.
    -Signs of dehydration are present.
-A persistent sore throat or fever develops.
-Symptoms become more severe or more frequent.

    Prevention

There is no sure way to prevent a sore throat. To help reduce your risk:
-Drink enough fluids to prevent dehydration.
-Wash your hands often, especially when you are around people who are sick.
-Identify and avoid irritants, such as smoke, fumes, or yelling, that cause a sore throat.
-Do not smoke or use other tobacco products and avoid exposure to secondhand smoke.
-Avoid contact with people who have strep throat.
-If you have mononucleosis, do not share eating or drinking utensils to prevent spreading the virus to others.
-A brief kiss on the lips is not likely to spread mono; it is spread when saliva from an infected person enters another person's mouth.

Recently, I have read my blog friend. One thing that I would like to share from that blog is relationship between human. We are always surrounding with other person but did we know how our relationships with others are? Is it good or not? We always think that we are not bad, but please think for one more time. Sometimes we walk beside them but we always try to not looking at them. Why? We dislike them. So, although smile is alms we think it is hard to do it. We will choose to not to do it rather than just smile to others. I will not lie to others too. I’m also like that sometimes but I always try control my feeling although I dislike that person. You know, for some reasons. Hehe.
But for us, is it important for us to be ‘insan kamil’. At least we try to be good person as we can. It is important to always think positive to others. Smile make other person always think positive about us and make the others feel calm when see us. Although for someone that feels like want to scold anybody will not do it. So next time please always smile….

1)Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).
2)Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.
3)Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.
4)Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted & blocked
5)Don't bathe - Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
6)Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
7)Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine

I have read an article about children skipping their breakfasts and found that many of them are obese. This is a serious issue that we should look into as this will affect their growth. 3 out of 10 children from Year 1 to Year 6 did not take their breakfast daily with many reasons. some said they do not have time to eat, no appetite, not hungry, did not have food and etc..

Parents should look into this matter as breakfast is one of the most important meal in our day. It helps kids to develope their brain. Parents should prepare light food such as fruits, milks and cereals for their kids.

But friends, although we are kids, we do need breakfast too ^^ so never go to class with empty stomach!!

  24. gameplay elements and classification
tool-Games are often classified by the components required to play them.in places where the use of leather is well established, the ball has been a popular game piece throughout recorded history, resulting in a worldwide popularity of ball such as rugby, basketball, football, cricket, tennis and volleyball. others tools are more idiosyncratic to a certain region. many countries in Europe, for instance have unique standard decks of playing cards. other games such as chess may be trace primarily through the development and evolution of its game pieces. many game tools are tokens, meant to represent other things. a token may be a pawn on a board, paly money or an intangible items such as a point scored.
rules-whereas their tools often characterize games, they often defining by their rules. while rules are subject to variations and changes, enough change in the rules usually result in a new game. rules generally determine turn order, the rights and responsibilities of the players, and each player's goals. players rights may include when they may spend resources or move tokens.
skill, stretegy and change-a game's tools and rules will result in its requiring skill, strategy, luck or a combination there of and are classify accordingly. games of skill include games of physical skill, such as wrestling, tug of war, hopscotch, target shooting and stake and games of mental skill such as checkers and chess.
single-player games-most games require multiple players. however, single-player games are unique in respect to the type of challenges a player faces. unlike a game with multiple players competing with or against each other to reach the game's goal, a one-player game is a battle solely against an element of the environment, against one's own skills, against time or against change.

Owning one of these machines is what I have been wishing for since I saw a convoy of lots of big bikes for the first time which made me very enthusiasted. In my wishlist, I wish to own any one of these:

    1. Yamaha R1 or R6
    2. Kawasaki ZX-6R or ZX-10R
    3. Honda CBR1000RR or CBR900RR Fireblade
    4. Aprillia RSV1000

I really want to know how does it feels when riding any of these mean machines. I’m more concerned of its torque power than speed. It is the power which can give me an unforgettable experience. The sound of its powerful engine makes me feel really overjoyed. I will one day own one of the bikes listed. I will ride on it, join a bikers club and take part in a big convoy…

What do u know about the world economy problem???The economy crisis is rise due to the economy crime done by the US.For example war in the Iraq,Afganisthan, and the support to the Israel. That’s all take a big cost and budjet to be used such the delivering of batolion of soldiers to go to that country. This budget finally trouble themselves and other countries included our country. In our country government use 60 billion as the package for the economy and this is the same way used by the president,Barrack Obama and this way we call as a Keynesian. Many people are feel admire with that package where Barrack Obama use 787 usd which is same with RM2.91trillion and Malaysia use it as a package to heal the economy. But we need to remember that it is not the so big money that told by the medias that can can drive the economy of certain country but it is about intend and how much their sincere. This is important so that the money will be used fully for the people and not to the certain sides that want get money without thinking of the other people. In the rule, people should be the first subject to paid attention and not their family and cronies. We do not want what had happen in America to occur in our country and this is proved by the economy analyst said that economy crisis in America occur when some of their ruler use the grid system where the money that they get from the government project is given to their family, siblings without thinking about their people. Some says that to heal our country economy crisis take 5 years and some deny it.It is depend on the cooperation between all countries in whole world.

Sun is one of the trillion stars that exist in the universe.Sun is the only one star that we can see very clear from earth beacause it is in our solar sysyem of nine planets.THe other are so far from our soalr system. We use the speed of the light to measure the star distance from the earth. The life on the earth exist before the existance of sun.why???because life depends on light to stay exist.taht is the logic. We go back about the other stars. Our sun actually is on the Milky Way galaxy. The Sun is currently traveling through the Local Interstellar Cloud in the low-density Local Bubble zone of diffuse high-temperature gas, in the inner rim of the Orion Arm of the Milky Way Galaxy, between the larger Perseus and Sagittarius arms of the galaxy. Of the 50 nearest stellar systems within 17 light-years (1.6×1014 km) from the Earth, the Sun ranks 4th in absolute magnitude as a fourth magnitude star

  29. What is stepper motor?????
A stepper motor (or step motor) is a brushless, synchronous electric motor that can divide a full rotation into a large number of steps. The motor's position can be controlled precisely, without any feedback mechanism (see open loop control). Stepper motors are similar to switched reluctance motors (which are very large stepping motors with a reduced pole count, and generally are closed-loop commutated.)Stepper motors operate differently from normal DC motors, which rotate when voltage is applied to their terminals. Stepper motors, on the other hand, effectively have multiple "toothed" electromagnets arranged around a central gear-shaped piece of iron. The electromagnets are energized by an external control circuit, such as a microcontroller. To make the motor shaft turn, first one electromagnet is given power, which makes the gear's teeth magnetically attracted to the electromagnet's teeth. When the gear's teeth are thus aligned to the first electromagnet, they are slightly offset from the next electromagnet. So when the next electromagnet is turned on and the first is turned off, the gear rotates slightly to align with the next one, and from there the process is repeated. Each of those slight rotations is called a "step," with an integral number of steps making a full rotation. In that way, the motor can be turned by a precise angle.

Earth (pronounced en-us-earth.ogg /ɝːθ/ (help·info))[10] is the third planet from the Sun. Earth is the largest of the terrestrial planets in the Solar System in diameter, mass and density. It is also referred to as the World and Terra.[note 3]

Home to millions of species,[11] including humans, Earth is the only place in the universe where life is known to exist. The planet formed 4.54 billion years ago,[12][13][14][15] and life appeared on its surface within a billion years. Since then, Earth's biosphere has significantly altered the atmosphere and other abiotic conditions on the planet, enabling the proliferation of aerobic organisms as well as the formation of the ozone layer which, together with Earth's magnetic field, blocks harmful radiation, permitting life on land.[16] The physical properties of the Earth, as well as its geological history and orbit, allowed life to persist during this period. The world is expected to continue supporting life for another 1.5 billion years, after which the rising luminosity of the Sun will eliminate the biosphere.[17]

Earth's outer surface is divided into several rigid segments, or tectonic plates, that gradually migrate across the surface over periods of many millions of years. About 71% of the surface is covered with salt-water oceans, the remainder consisting of continents and islands; liquid water, necessary for all known life, is not known to exist on any other planet's surface.[note 4][note 5] Earth's interior remains active, with a thick layer of relatively solid mantle, a liquid outer core that generates a magnetic field, and a solid iron inner core.

Earth interacts with other objects in outer space, including the Sun and the Moon. At present, Earth orbits the Sun once for every roughly 366.26 times it rotates about its axis. This length of time is a sidereal year, which is equal to 365.26 solar days.[note 6] The Earth's axis of rotation is tilted 23.4° away from the perpendicular to its orbital plane,[18] producing seasonal variations on the planet's surface with a period of one tropical year (365.24 solar days). Earth's only known natural satellite, the Moon, which began orbiting it about 4.53 billion years ago, provides ocean tides, stabilizes the axial tilt and gradually slows the planet's rotation. Between approximately 4.1 and 3.8 billion years ago, asteroid impacts during the Late Heavy Bombardment caused significant changes to the surface environment.

  31. What is Japan???
Japan is an island nation in East Asia. Located in the Pacific Ocean, it lies to the east of the Sea of Japan, People's Republic of China, North Korea, South Korea and Russia, stretching from the Sea of Okhotsk in the north to the East China Sea and Taiwan in the south. The characters which make up Japan's name mean "sun-origin", which is why Japan is sometimes identified as the "Land of the Rising Sun".

Japan comprises over 3,000 islands[5] making it an archipelago. The four largest islands are Honshū, Hokkaidō, Kyūshū and Shikoku, together accounting for 97% of Japan's land area. Most of the islands are mountainous, many volcanic; for example, Japan’s highest peak, Mount Fuji, is a volcano. Japan has the world's tenth largest population, with about 128 million people. The Greater Tokyo Area, which includes the de facto capital city of Tokyo and several surrounding prefectures, is the largest metropolitan area in the world, with over 30 million residents.

Archaeological research indicates that people were living on the islands of Japan as early as the Upper Paleolithic period. The first written mention of Japan begins with brief appearances in Chinese history texts from the first century A.D. Influence from the outside world followed by long periods of isolation has characterized Japan's history. Since adopting its constitution in 1947, Japan has maintained a unitary constitutional monarchy with an emperor and an elected parliament, the Diet.

A major economic power,[6] Japan has the world's second largest economy by nominal GDP and the third largest in purchasing power parity. It is a member of the United Nations, G8, OECD and APEC, with the world's fifth largest defense budget. It is also the world's fourth largest exporter and sixth largest importer. It is a developed country with high living standards (8th highest HDI), the longest life expectancy in the world (according to UN estimates).[7]

I've seen the email that saying how Iran people punished the kid for stealing bread. I saw the pictures but I'm not sure whether they are Muslims or not. 6 March... well it was a few days before the "Maulidur Rasul" and my birthday which fall on the same day. hahaha... So there are a few articles that I read that related with "Maulidur Rasul". "Maulidur Rasul" was actually the day when Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. become the last prophet according to Islam. According to those articles that I read, he was 40 when he became the last prophet and his wife was Siti Khadijah. One fact that I read, The day of "Maulidur Rasul" is only Commemorate or remembered Rasulullah S.A.W. passed away and not when Rasulullah S.A.W. was still living.

  33. 10 High Paying Dirty Jobs

A dirty job may mean working with stuff that grosses most people out, but you can make a decent amount of money and you may also be happier with it. Some studies show that jobs with hands-on, manual activities make people happier than office jobs. These jobs entail revolting, dangerous and sometimes psychologically disturbing duties. The jobs are :

    Job 10: Garbage Collector

Most of us wash our hands of garbage as soon as we set it on the curb. Not so for the garbage collector. Despite the dirt, the danger and the smell, there's no shortage of garbage collector jobs. The average annual salary for this occupation is about $43,000. In California, the average hourly wage is $16.04, and in some places, the overtime can help shoot the pay to
    over $60,000 a year.

    Job 9: Gastroenterologist

Whatever we eat goes through a 25-foot (7.62 meter) journey in our digestive tract, and when problems arise, there's one kind of doctor we can go to for help is the gastroenterologist or also known as a GI doctor. GIs diagnose and treat some of the most uncomfortable and embarrassing of ailments. Most GIs make between $250,000 and $400,000 a year.

    Job 8: Oil Rig Worker

Offshore rig life is especially difficult. It involves spending weeks at a time sleeping. The machinery is extremely loud. Workers are typically required to wear earplugs on the job to prevent permanent hearing loss, and they communicate through hand signals. Even lowly workers can get a nice annual pay over $40,000. Salaries can skyrocket for people with certain
college degrees and for overseas work.

    Job 7: Portable Toilet Cleaner

This job is a sort of combination of garbage collector and GI, and arguably more disgusting than both put together. Using a tank and a vacuum wand, cleaners must suck up all the waste in a portable toilet. After picking up any stray toilet paper, they also wash down all surfaces that c¬ould possibly be soiled, including the walls. Nevertheless, some cleaners grin and bear it and take home $50,000 a year.

    Job 6: Crab Fisherman

Off the Alaskan shore, crab fisherman face freezing waters and storms that give way to gargantuan ocean waves. If the fishermen can protect themselves from being swept overboard in a storm, they'll still have to worry about the dangers of fishing machinery and coils on crab boats, which can also fling them overboard. And even if they avoid drowning, cold temperatures can give way to fatal hypothermia. For a few months of work out of the year, experienced workers can rake in about $60,000. It all depends on how successful the yield is for a particular boat.

    Job 5: Sewer Inspector

After we've done our business in the bathroom, all we have to do is flush our waste goodbye, and we'll never have to see it again. But this isn't the case for the people who take care of our sewer systems. Their job entails walking and sometimes crawling through sewer tunnels to inspect for cracks, clogs and other problems. In addition to the excrement, smell, and creepy crawly bugs and rats, sewer workers sometimes come across dead bodies, both animal and human. They can make over $60,000 a year.

    Job 4: Coal Miner

Joining the ranks of garbage collecting and fishing, coal mining is also one of the most dangerous professions today. Coal mines contain methane, and explosions can occur when falling rocks cause sparks. What's more, unstable mines can collapse and kill workers. In West Virginia, where coal is a huge industry, coal miners earn an average annual salary of around $64,000.

    Job 3: Embalmer

When a person dies, the body quickly becomes pale and unsightly. That's where the embalming process comes in. It delays the decomposition of a corpse and cosmetically restores it to look presentable for the viewing. It also sanitizes the body to prevent spreading infection. Embalmers, morticians and mortuary workers earn about $41,000 on average, and the pay rises with experience.

    Job 2: Plumber

Plumbers have the quintessential blue-collar job, often having to crouch under sinks or through the crawl spaces under houses. If these cramped and dirty conditions aren't bad enough, they deal with our revolting clogs and waste or dangerously hot pipes. But despite the drawbacks, plumbers make a nice living, as even entry level plumbers typically pull in between $35,000 and $40,000 a year.

    Job 1: Crime Scene Cleaner

Be it blood and guts or hazardous chemicals, not a lot of people jump at the chance to be a crime scene cleaner. Depending on how bad the mess is, the cleanup could take a few hours to a few days. With a little experience under your belt and flexibility with your work hours, you can easily make about $75,000 a year with this job. Although you don't need a college degree to get a crime scene cleaning job, it can help boost that salary into six figures.

There's no doubt these past 10 jobs justify the
old maxim, "It's a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it." So guys, you can decide which job you are willing to do as it offers high salary.

  35. I read an article about MILO.
Milo is a milk beverage with chocolate and malt, produced by Nestlé and originating from Australia. It was developed by Thomas Mayne in 1934.
MILO contains ACTIGEN-E®, a unique combination of 8 vitamins and 4 minerals - high in magnesium with enriched levels of Vitamins B, Vitamin C and Calcium.
Milo is added to hot or cold milk to give it a malted chocolate flavour and extra texture. When combined with cold milk, it retains the gritty texture of its raw state. Milo can be stirred into steamed milk or hot water to create something similar to hot chocolate or cocoa. Sugar can be added to the milo beverage, but many people enjoy it without the addition of sweeteners, appreciating it for its subtle chocolate flavour. Another possible use is making a normal cup of cold Milo and microwaving it for approximately 40–60 seconds. This gives the Milo drink a biscuity cover on top.

Another popular use is to sprinkle it on ice cream, especially vanilla ice cream. Milo can also be sprinkled on breakfast cereals. Milo is often the favoured beverage for the Tim Tam Slam.

Others may even choose to not add milk or water and eat the Milo straight from the tin with spoon as they believe this may detract from the true flavour and magic

Also very popular is the "Magic Milo" which involves adding Milo to a small amount of milk with sugar and whipping it to increase the amount of air in the milk, thereby doubling it in size. Then one adds small amounts of hot water and milk in layers stirring each new layer vigorously to maintain its lightness. A final layer of whipped cream topped with extra Milo or chocolate sprinkles. This is more of a 'warm' beverage rather than a 'hot' one and is a more popular version of hot Milo for children.

Milo is very popular in Malaysia, where the brand name is synonymous with chocolate flavored drinks. This drink could be found in almost every household in this country[citation needed]. This is because Milo was once used as a nutrient supplement when it was first introduced in the country, and has thus gained a reputation as a 'must have' drink for the old and the younger generations. Milo manufactured in Malaysia is made to dissolve well in hot water to produce a smooth hot chocolate drink, or with ice added for a cold drink. Milo in Malaysia is served in kopitiams and mamak stalls offering versions such as "Milo Dinosaur" (a cup of milo with an extra spoonful of powdered undissolved Milo added to it), "Milo Godzilla" (a cup of Milo with ice cream and/or topped with whipped cream) and "Neslo" (combined with Nescafe powdered coffee).

  36. Simple Ways to Live a Healthy Lifestyle

You hear a lot about living a healthy lifestyle, but what does that mean? In general, a healthy person doesn't smoke, is at a healthy weight, eats healthy and exercises. Sounds simple, doesn't it?
The trick to healthy living is making small changes...taking more steps, adding fruit to your cereal, having an extra glass of water...these are just a few ways you can start living healthy without drastic changes.

    Exercise

One of the biggest problems in America today is lack of activity. We know it's good for us
but avoid it like the plague either because we're used to being sedentary or afraid that exercise has to be vigorous to be worth our time. The truth is, movement is movement and the more you do, the healthier you'll be. Even moderate activities like chores, gardening and walking can make a difference.

Just adding a little movement to your life can:

    1. Reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes
    2. Improve joint stability
    3. Increase and improve range of movement
    4. Help maintain flexibility as you age
    5. Maintain bone mass
    6. Prevent osteoporosis and fractures
    7. Improve mood and reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression
    8. Enhance self esteem
    9. Improve memory in elderly people
    10.Reduce stress

So, even if you opt for small changes and a more modest weight loss, you can see the benefits are still pretty good. One study has found that just a 10% weight reduction helped obese patients reduce blood pressure, cholesterol and increase longevity.

Simple Ways to Move Your Body

You can start the process of weight loss now by adding a little more activity to your life. If you're not ready for a structured program, start small. Every little bit counts and it all adds up to burning more calories.

    1. Turn off the TV. Once a week, turn off the TV and do something a little more physical with your family. Play games, take a walk...almost anything will be more active than sitting on the couch.
    2. Walk more. Look for small ways to walk more. When you get the mail, take a walk around the block, take the dog for an extra outing each day or walk on your treadmill for 5 minutes before getting ready for work.
    3. Do some chores. Shoveling snow, working in the garden, raking leaves, sweeping the floor...these kinds of activities may not be 'vigorous' exercise, but they can keep you moving while getting your house in order.
    4. Pace while you talk. When you're on the phone, pace around or even do some cleaning while gabbing. This is a great way to stay moving while doing something you enjoy.
    5. Be aware. Make a list of all the physical activities you do on a typical day. If you find that the bulk of your time is spent sitting, make another list of all the ways you could move more--getting up each hour to stretch or walk, walk the stairs at work, etc.

    Eating Well

Eating a healthy diet is another part of the healthy lifestyle. Not only can a clean diet help with weight management, it can also improve your health and quality of life as you get older. You can use the new Food Guide Pyramid to determine how many calories you need and what food groups you should focus on or, if you're looking for smaller changes, you can use these tips for simple ways to change how you eat:

    1. Eat more fruit. Add it to your cereal, your salads or even your dinners
    2. Sneak in more veggies. Add them wherever you can--a tomato on your sandwich, peppers on your pizza, or extra veggies in your pasta sauce. Keep pre-cut or canned/frozen veggies ready for quick snacks.
    3. Switch your salad dressing. If you eat full-fat dressing, switch to something lighter and you'll automatically eat less calories.
    4. Eat low-fat or fat-free dairy. Switching to skim milk or fat free yogurt is another simple way to eat less calories without having to change too much in your diet.
    5. Make some substitutes. Look through your cabinets or fridge and pick 3 foods you eat every day. Write down the nutritional content and, the next time you're at the store, find lower-calorie substitutes for just those 3 items.

  37. Being Happy: 17 Timeless Secrets of Happy People

There are many ways for people to be unhappy, but happy people have common characteristics. That’s why a good way to be happy is to learn the common characteristics of happy people and apply them.

So I studied what the great minds in history say about being happy. I went through hundreds of quotes on being happy and extracted the best lessons out of them. Not only are these lessons useful, they are also timeless in nature.

Here I’d like to share what I learned with you. Without further ado, here are 17 timeless secrets of happy people:

    1. Forget the past

One of the keys to happiness is a bad memory.
    Rita Mae Brown

You won’t be happy if you carry the burden of the past. Did you make mistakes? Did you have terrible experiences? Whatever they are, you should let them go. There’s nothing you can do about the past, so you’d better let them go and focus your energy on the present.

    2. Take responsibility for your life

The secret of Happiness is Freedom, and the secret of Freedom, Courage.
    Thucydides

To be happy you should have freedom and the most essential freedom is the freedom to choose. No matter how bad a situation is, you can always choose how you respond to it. People can annoy you, but it’s up to you whether or not you will resent.

But, as the quote above says, freedom takes courage. Freedom to choose requires the courage to take responsibility for your life. You shouldn’t blame someone else when something goes wrong. Take the responsibility and you have the power to choose.

    3. Build relationships

Life’s truest happiness is found in friendships we make along the way.
    Unknown

Relationships is where we can get true happiness in life. The reason is simple: only through relationships can we love and be loved. Make relationships your top priority and you are on your way to true happiness.

    4. Develop multiple passions

The more passions and desires one has, the more ways one has of being happy.
    Charlotte-Catherine

Passions lead you to happiness. So not only should you discover your multiple passions, you should also expand yourself to new passions. This way you will create new ways to happiness.

The key to expanding to new passions is curiosity. If you are curious, you will have an endless stream of exciting things waiting for you.

    5. Build your character

Character is the basis of happiness and happiness the sanction of character.
    George Santayana

Building your character is essential for happiness. When you are true to yourself and others, you will be in peace.

The way to start building character is by making promises and keeping them. For example, you make promise to yourself that you won’t smoke. When you keep it, you are building your character. Or you make promise to others to be punctual. When you keep it, you build your character.

    6. Be who you are

The summit of happiness is reached when a person is ready to be what he is.
    Desiderius Erasmus

You can only be happy if you become who you are. Don’t live other people’s life by trying to meet their expectations. People may expect you to have certain job or certain way of living but don’t be intimidated by them. Find who you are and be yourself.

    7. Live your life purpose

The only true happiness comes from squandering ourselves for a purpose.
    William Cowper

To have a fulfilling life, you should find your life purpose and follow it faithfully. Find what matters to you and build the courage to follow it. Having a one-liner will help you internalize and communicate your mission.

    8. Count your blessings

Happiness will never come to those who fail to appreciate what they already have.
    Unknown

Being happy is easy if we are grateful. Unfortunately, seeing what we don’t have is often easier than seeing what we have. Sometimes we need to experience loss before appreciating what we have. So don’t take things for granted. Look at what you have and soon you will have plenty of reasons to be happy. You may start with these simple things.

    9. Have positive mind

It is not the place, nor the condition, but the mind alone that can make anyone happy or miserable.
    Roger L’Estrange

Happy people know how to control their mind. They don’t let negative thoughts come in. While a situation may seem bad to others, happy people look at them in a positive way. They always believe that no matter how bad a situation seems, there is always something positive to take from it. Your mind can make or break you, so guard it well.

    10. Work creatively

Happiness lies in the joy of achievement and the thrill of creative effort.
    Franklin D. Roosevelt

When you work creatively on something you will find happiness. There is a well-known phenomenon regarding this called flow. When you are in the state of flow, you are fully focused on the task at hand that you no longer realize the passage of time. This state of flow allows you to achieve high productivity and being happy at the same time. Here are some tips to achieve it.

    11. Start with what you have

The foolish man seeks happiness in the distance, the wise grows it under his feet.
    James Oppenheim

Happy people don’t need something they don’t have to be happy. They don’t need certain job or certain level of income. Instead, they learn to be happy with what they already have. They have learned the art of contentment. Be content with what you have and you will be happy.

    12. Change

They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom.
    Confucius

Being happy requires you to constantly grow. In fact, the process of learning itself is essential for happiness. Have you ever felt the excitement of being enlightened about something? Have you ever felt the excitement of achieving a new level in life? Top 10 Things You Should Change in Your Life gives you some practical tips on changing your life.

    13. Use your talents

True happiness involves the full use of one’s power and talents.
    Douglas Pagels

There are two lessons to take from this quote. First, you should find your talents and second, you should use them to the fullest. Working in your talents is a sure way to enjoy your work because it’s something you are “hardwired” to do. Using your talents fully will make you even happier because of the satisfaction of doing your best.

    14. Beware of small things

The happiness of most people we know is not ruined by great catastrophes or fatal errors, but by the repetition of slowly destructive little things.
    Ernest Dimnet

This is very true. Often it’s not big things that ruin your happiness. It’s the small things that do. Perhaps you don’t like someone or break some “small” promises. But even small leaks can sink your ship of happiness, so beware of them.

    15. Distill your ambitions

    Where ambition ends happiness begins.
    Author Unknown

While wanting to achieve more in your life is good, being obsessed by it is not. Do your best to improve yourself but don’t be obsessed by it.

    16. Make others happy

Happiness is a perfume you cannot pour on others without getting a few drops on yourself.
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

This is my favorite secret of happiness. The way to being happy is to make others happy first. The more you help other people and make them happy, the more you will be happy. Happiness doesn’t come through selfishness but through selflessness. You reap what you sow.

    17. Practice compassion

If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion.
    The Dalai Lama

Compassion is perhaps the highest level of selflessness we could have. As this quote aptly says, practicing compassion can make both others and you happy.

But of course, it requires practice. Start with thinking about the people around you. Look at their needs and find ways to meet them. Even if you don’t do it out of compassion in the beginning, your compassion will grow over time.

Everyone is special. We are all original and no one can be exactly like us. Even if people may not feel special, they are special - because a duplicate of them can't be created. This won't tell you how to be perfect, but it might help you be more confident.
    1. `Be positive.’ With this in mind, you can't be the only special person out there but there are some good ways to get positive attention and remind people that you are special to them.
    2. `Be nice to people.’ Just remember to smile and listen to them for a minute. This may not be so exciting to you, but it will be pretty special to the receiver. Handmade gifts for birthdays are especially nice if you have a little skill and want to stand out from the crowd.
    3. `Be yourself.’ But if you insist on imposing on another, try making little routines that show the true inner you. Doing these small things is something that shows who you really are.
    4. `Smile.’ A smile can influence everyone around you and make them remember you. If you have ever had your day brightened by a random stranger smiling at you on the street then you know how powerful a smile can be.
    5. `Wear modest clothing.’ This isn't a requirement but for girls and especially younger girls, wearing way-out-there clothing or stuff that shows too much skin might make people remember you, but "special" probably isn't the word they'd use to describe you.
    6. `Help people.’ Hold doors open, offer to carry heavy packages (but only if you know you can - don't hurt yourself!), push the right button for their floor in the elevator. Little things add up and soon you will be much happier with yourself, and other people will be happy too.
    7. `Sympathize with others.’ Even if you think that someone is being too dramatic about a situation, kind words can make them feel better and make you a special person to them because you took the time to listen and reassure them.

  39. Have you ever wonder why don't we see turkey eggs for sale in grocery stores?

Turkeys have never been bred to produce eggs for human consumption because it is much less expensive to produce chicken eggs. “Turkeys are bred for meat production, which results in high body weight and low egg production,”says Dr Roger Buckland, professor of poultry science at McGill University in Montreal.

A female turkey weighs between 9.5 and 15 kilograms during the laying period of her life, Buckland says, while a chicken weighs just over one kilogram. Hence, the nutrient requirements to maintain a turkey's weight, let alone produce eggs, are much greater than those of a chicken. Plus, the laying period for a turkey is much shorter: During its reproductive lifespan, a turkey will produce 15 to 25 eggs averaging 90 grams each, while a chicken will yield 300 eggs of about 55 grams each.

  40. HOW TO HANDLE REJECTION in our life..

    1. Don’t take it personally. There are times in our lives when we are rejected simply because of timing. If you ask someone out to lunch but they have already eaten lunch, well they are going to turn you down! If you apply for a part-time job at a department store during the hari raya holidays the week of Hari Raya, they are going to turn you down because they have enough staff. Some rejections have nothing to do with us. So if you got turned down, do not second guess that you are no good or that no one likes you. It may just be a question of timing!

    2. Think positively. It can be hard to think positively when you have been rejected, but try to turn the tables on this. If someone declines your offer for a social event, think about all the times when you have said no to others as well. Also, sometimes, getting rejected is a blessing in disguise. It may provide you with the space for something bigger that is about to happen!

    3. Listen to the rejection carefully. It is important to pay attention to the reason for the rejection. This will tell you if you have a second chance or not. If you apply for a job and the Human Resources Director says “Not now, but call me in three months,” you can choose to focus on the part about timing. Try asking a follow up question to understand why you are being rejected now and get creative in coming up with an alternative solution.

    4. Be kind to yourself. Being rejected is a disappointment to say the least. It can be very frustrating to put yourself out there for either personal or professional reasons and then, be told “no.” So, be kind to yourself after getting rejected in some way. Engage in positive self talk and encourage yourself for the future. Do not be silly by drowning your sorrows in food, alcohol, cigarettes or overspending.

    5. Have confidence in who you are. Learn to have confidence that people will like you just as you are and to make yourself the best “you” that you can be. Engage in hobbies and activities that you. Laugh and sparkle! People will respond in amazing ways and you will get to experience less rejection!

    6. Know that everyone gets rejected. There are six billion people on this earth. We are all beautiful, unique and different. There are times we are in demand and times we may get rejected. Knowing that rejection is an emotion that many people go through is a reality check! So get over your victim mentality and move on!

    7. Try and try again. A popular sales motto is that it takes twenty “nos” to get to one “yes.” Many successful authors like Robert Kiyosaki and Mark Victor Hansen got their manuscripts rejected several times by publishing houses before they hit big time! Learn from these authors. Do not therefore take rejection as a sign of failure. Instead, press on in your dreams!

This time Im going to review about one of my favourite book which is "Dr Mahathir's Selected Letters to World Leaders". This book consist of 71 letters by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohammad and other famous world leaders. This letters has never been published before and this is chance of a lifetime to read these letters... They argue about their contrasting positions on terrorism, wars, politics, economy, globalisation.

In tnis book I admire Tun Dr Mahathir because he is very brave in expressing what he feel is right and wrote it in a good way.
I was amazed by this one letter he wrote to George W. Bush expressing our concern about the situation in the midddle east. Tun Dr Mahathir ask US to consider to stop supporting Israel and stop the conflict in Palestine as they have veto power...Maybe we thought, Malaysia never done anything to stop the war in Palestine, but actually I discovered that Tun Dr Mahathir sent many letters to world leaders asking them to support in ending the war in middle east including Palestine, Iraq and others...
and I also discovered that Mr Jacques Chirac,ex-President of France, is a good friend of Tun Dr Mahathir..

From this book, I have gained a lot of knowledge and discover things that I never knew before and I have to say that Im proud to have Tun Dr Mahathir as our ex-Prime Minister...

  44. GREENHOUSE GASES
The increase in greenhouse gases caused by human activity is often cited as one of the major causes of global warming. These greenhouse gases reabsorb heat reflected from the Earth's surface, thus trapping the heat in our atmosphere. This natural process is essential for life on Earth because it plays an important role in regulating the Earth's temperature. However, over the last several hundred years, humans have been artificially increasing the concentration of these gases, mainly carbon dioxide and methane in the Earth's atmosphere. These gases build up and prevent additional thermal radiation from leaving the Earth, thereby trapping excess heat.

In my opinion, we need to take care about our earth.Everyday we can hear that there are many disaster. This is because our earth are ‘sick’.If we are not protect it from now, our life also are not safe anymore. So, as a human that living in it,come together to protect our earth.

  45. BENEFITS OF PAPAYA
    1) Papaya contains the digestive enzyme papin and therefore valuable for aiding digestion.
    2) The ripe fruit is easily digestible and prevents constipation.
    3) The juice of the papaya aids in relieving of the colon and has a tendency to break down pus and mucus reached by the juice.
    4) Papayas are also a good source of fiber, which has been shown to lower high cholesterol.
    5) May help prevent cancer in organs and glands with epithelial tissue
    6) Papayas may be very helpful for the prevention of atherosclerosis and diabetic heart disease.
    7) Case studies indicate that this food taken alone for two or three days has a highly beneficial tonic effect upon the stomach and intestines.
    8) The unique protein-digesting enzymes; papain and chymopapain have been shown to help lower inflammation and to improve healing from burns in addition to helping in digestion of proteins.
My opinion about papaya is recommended to be one such pick from the group of Yellow and orange fruits, which promises abundant health benefits. It is a melon like fruit with yellow- orange flesh with dozens of small black seeds enclosed in skin that ranges in color from green to orange. Papaya has high nutritional benefits. The health benefits of fruits and vegetables can not be equated to that promised by nutritional pills and supplements. Nutrition experts advocate generous intake of fruits for optimum health as these food items are loaded with all the benefits.

  46. What happens when you are not getting enough oxygen?
I want to share the important of oxygen in our life. A lack of oxygen results in sickness, poor vitality, poor stamina, fatigue and a generally weak disposition. If you have poor eating habits, drink in excess, inhale pollution, toxins or drugs, or if you don’t exercise, your cells are deprived of vital oxygen and your immune system may be weakened. Low oxygen levels are undesirable because they affect the body's cell metabolism and may even cause it to manufacture improper chemicals, giving rise to various health problems. Cellular homeostasis is dependent on adequate supply of oxygen in the blood. Oxygen is absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood and transferred to every cell in the body. Interestingly, only recently have the medical and sport professions begun to take a new and serious look at the value of increasing oxygen levels.

  47. Smile! We say this almost every time we snap a photo. What a wonderful word and what a wonderful action to take. Don't you wish we all had more smiles in our lives? Well let's celebrate that simple little facial motion with a page or two in our albums. Don't you love to see the smile of a loved one? Young or old, a smile lights the face and shows the inner beauty of the subject. Harness the power of that smile for just a second and immortalize it in a photo and then on a layout.

A smile costs nothing but gives much. It enriches those who receive without making poorer those who give. It takes but a moment, but the memory of it sometimes lasts forever. None is so rich or mighty that he cannot get along without it and none is so poor that he cannot be made rich by it. Yet a smile cannot be bought, begged, borrowed, or stolen, for it is something that is of no value to anyone until it is given away. Some people are too tired to give you a smile. Give them one of yours, as none needs a smile as much as he who has no more to give.

It takes a lot of work from the face to let out a smile, but just think what good smiling can bring to the most important muscle of the body... the heart.

  48. I did some research on the cloning. Here is the list of the some advantages of cloning.

    ADVANTAGES OF CLONING

Among the advantages offered by cloning are the following:

    1. The possibility of producing not a complete body but just an organ to save the life of a human being who requires the transplant of that organ.

    2. The cloning of a complete human being whose bone marrow would help to save the life of his brother ill with leukemia. The transplant of bone marrow calls for a close biological link between the donor and the beneficiary, which in the case of cloning is really the closest possible relationship. In England there was a case where a woman felt obliged to conceive another child who could provide bone marrow for her only son who suffered from leukemia.

    3. The cloning of transgenetic animals, that is animals with modifications brought about by human genes, to use their organs in transplants in human beings and thus avoid their rejection. Once a prototype of this kind is got then its mass reproduction by cloning is easier. It's not necessary to go through the inevitable variations and unpredictable situations that attend sexual reproduction.

    4. The reproduction of therapeutic human proteins in the milk of sheep or other mammals, introducing a gen that is active exclusively in the mammary glands of the animals.

    5. Cloning also allows the propagation of animals facing extinction and thus maintains ecological balance.

    6. Cloning permits a greater propagation of insects that help control plagues that damage agricultural products, thus reducing the use of insecticides and pesticides, improving the quality of human life and protecting the environment.

    7. Through cloning the industrial method is applied to biology; in other words: quality control and prediction. The quality of the clone is known beforehand, and also it is known perfectly well that its characteristics are identical in 99% with those of the original (donor).

  49. A interesting article to share with you all here is about the story of cloning...

Claims of success in human cloning beyond the embryo stage

In 1978 David Rorvik claimed in his book In his Image: The Cloning of a Man that he had personal knowledge of the creation of a human clone. A court case followed. He failed to produce corroborating evidence to back up his claims; now regarded as a hoax.

Severino Antinori made claims in November, 2002 that a project to clone human beings had succeeded, with the first human clone due to be born in January 2003. His claims were received with skepticism from many observers.

In December 2002, Clonaid, the medical arm of a religion called Raëlism, who believe that aliens introduced human life on Earth, claimed to have successfully cloned a human being. They claim that aliens taught them how to perform cloning, even though the company has no record of having successfully cloned any previous animal. A spokesperson said an independent agency would prove that the baby, named Evá, is in fact an exact copy of her mother. Shortly thereafter, the testing was cancelled, with the spokesperson claiming the decision would ultimately be left up to Evá's parents.

On October 9, 2003, newspaper Le journal de Montréal published an article accusing Clonaid and the Raelian religion of maintaining an outright hoax in its claims regarding cloning a human baby.

In December 2004 Dr. Brigitte Boisselier, Clonaid's Chief Executive, claimed in a letter [1] to the UN that Clonaid has successfully cloned 13 children, however their identities cannot be revealed to the public in order to protect them.

  51. How to Be Romantic

    Steps:
1.Break the monotony. Many people associate the beginning of a relationship with romance, excitement and inspiration because everything is new. You've just met this person and the relationship is unfolding--what will happen tomorrow? Next week? Next month? Will he call? Will we kiss? Will she visit? But after the relationship is established, we settle into a routine, and nothing is new anymore. To be romantic, to reintroduce the excitement that characterized the beginning of the relationship, do something different, something that your partner wouldn't expect. The more out of the ordinary, the better!

2.Court them. Pretend that you and the person just met, and you want the person to fall for you. What would you do to impress them? To show them that you're interested? To win them over? Treat your partner like they're single, like you're trying to earn their affection and trust. The opposite of being romanced is being taken for granted. No one wants to feel like they've already been "caught" and it's over and done with. Put on a show! Stay on your toes! The most romantic ideas come to people when they fear they might lose the one they love. But you don't have to actually be on the verge of losing someone in order to tap into that mindset!

3.Make it personal. Romance is not "one-size-fits-all." The stereotypical icons of romance (roses, candles and chocolate) can only go so far. Think about what really gets that special someone excited. Recognize what makes your partner unique, and find/do things for them that only they would appreciate. What are their quirky (perhaps secret) interests, obsessions and fantasies? Whenever they're shopping, talking, or watching a movie, what makes their eyes light up? Pay attention! Being romantic means acknowledging how special a person is, and that means demonstrating that you know--better than anyone else in the world--what makes them unique.

4.Focus on the little things. Romance can be practiced every day, and it doesn't have to be expensive or grand. In fact, sometimes the most romantic moments are simple, spontaneous and free. There are millions of ways to say "I love you" and "I'm lucky to have you." Think of the world as your medium. You can write it, say it, sculpt it, look it, hide it, shout it, paint it, kiss it, fold it, grow it, touch it, and express it in unlimited ways. Make it a habit to find a new way to be romantic every day. Be creative and have fun with it!

5.Be sincere. To make someone feel appreciated, you have to really, truly be thankful for their presence in your life. Maintaining that sense of gratitude takes conscious effort. It's easy to forget how amazing someone is when you see them every day, but if you constantly remind yourself how lucky you are to share your life with that person, every day will be the most romantic day of your life.

  52. How to love

    Steps:
1.Say it. When you say the words "I Love You", they should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them, not what you simply want to feel. When you say it make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person.

2.Empathize. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Rather than impose your own expectations or attempt to control them, try to understand how they feel, where they come from, and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well.

3.Love unconditionally. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations, then it is not love at all, but deep-seated opportunism (one who makes the most of an advantage, often unmindful of others). If your interest is not in the other person as such, but rather in how that person can enhance your experience of life, then it is not unconditional. If you have no intention of improving that person’s life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them as they are, and not who you want them to be, then you are not striving to love them unconditionally.

4.Expect nothing in return. That doesn't mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Try loving just for the sake of love. Realize that someone may have a different way of showing his or her love for you, do not expect to be loved back in exactly the same way.

5.Realize it can be lost. If you realize that you can lose the one you love, then you have a greater appreciation of what you have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love. Don't make an idol of the person you love. This will place them under undue pressure and will likely result in you losing them.

  53. How complicated love can be????

    >10th grade
As I sat there in English class, I stared at the girl next to me. She was my so called
"best friend". I stared at her long, silky hair, and wished she was mine. But she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it.
After class, she walked up to me and asked me for the notes she had missed the day before and handed them to her. She said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I wanted to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
    >11th grade
The phone rang. On the other end, it was her. She was in tears, mumbling on and on about how her love had broke her heart. She asked me to come over because she didn't want to be alone, so I did. As I sat next to her on the sofa, I stared at her soft eyes, wishing she was mine. After 2 hours, one Drew Barrymore movie, and three bags of chips, she decided to go to sleep.
She looked at me, said "thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
    >Senior year
The day before prom she walked to my locker. "My date is sick" she said; he's not going to go well, I didn't have a date, and in 7th grade, we made a promise that if neither of us had dates, we would go together just as "best friends". So we did. Prom night, after everything was over, I was standing at her front door step! I stared at her as she smiled at me and stared at me with her crystal eyes. I want her to be mine, but she isn't think of me like that, and I know it. Then she said "I had the best time, thanks!" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
    >Graduation Day
A day passed, then a week, then a month. Before I could blink, it was graduation day. I watched as her perfect body floated like an angel up on stage to get her diploma. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn't notice me like that, and I knew it. Before everyone went home, she came to me in her smock and hat, and cried as I hugged her. Then she lifted her head from my shoulder and said, "you're my best friend, thanks" and gave me a kiss on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
    >A Few Years Later
Now I sit in the pews of the church. That girl is getting married now. I watched her say "I do" and drive off to her new life, married to another man. I wanted her to be mine, but she didn`t see me like that, and I knew it. But before she drove away, she came to me and said "you came!". She said "thanks" and kissed me on the cheek. I want to tell her, I want her to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love her but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why.
    >Funeral
Years passed, I looked down at the coffin of a girl who used to be my "best friend". At the service, they read a diary entry she had wrote in her high school years. This is what it read:
I stare at him wishing he was mine, but he doesn't notice me like that, and I know it. I want to tell him, I want him to know that I don't want to be just friends, I love him but I'm just too shy, and I don't know why. I wish he would tell me he loved me!
I wish I did too... I thought to my self, and I cried.
    I Love You

  54. What Is Stress?

Stress is a feeling that's created when we react to particular events. It's the body's way of rising to a challenge and preparing to meet a tough situation with focus, strength, stamina, and heightened alertness.

The events that provoke stress are called stressors, and they cover a whole range of situations - everything from outright physical danger to making a class presentation or taking a semester's worth of your toughest subject.

The human body responds to stressors by activating the nervous system and specific hormones. The hypothalamus signals the adrenal glands to produce more of the hormones adrenaline and cortisol and release them into the bloodstream. These hormones speed up heart rate, breathing rate, blood pressure, and metabolism. Blood vessels open wider to let more blood flow to large muscle groups, putting our muscles on alert. Pupils dilate to improve vision. The liver releases some of its stored glucose to increase the body's energy. And sweat is produced to cool the body. All of these physical changes prepare a person to react quickly and effectively to handle the pressure of the moment.

This natural reaction is known as the stress response. Working properly, the body's stress response enhances a person's ability to perform well under pressure. But the stress response can also cause problems when it overreacts or fails to turn off and reset itself properly.

  55. Tattoos

A tattoo is a puncture wound, made deep in your skin, that's filled with ink. It's made by penetrating your skin with a needle and injecting ink into the area, usually creating some sort of design. What makes tattoos so long-lasting is they're so deep — the ink isn't injected into the epidermis (the top layer of skin that you continue to produce and shed throughout your lifetime). Instead, the ink is injected into the dermis, which is the second, deeper layer of skin. Dermis cells are very stable, so the tattoo is practically permanent.

Tattoos used to be done manually — that is, the tattoo artist would puncture the skin with a needle and inject the ink by hand. Though this process is still used in some parts of the world, most tattoo shops use a tattoo machine these days. A tattoo machine is a handheld electric instrument that uses a tube and needle system. On one end is a sterilized needle, which is attached to tubes that contain ink. A foot switch is used to turn on the machine, which moves the needle in and out while driving the ink about 1/8 inch (about 3 millimeters) into your skin.

Most tattoo artists know how deep to drive the needle into your skin, but not going deep enough will produce a ragged tattoo, and going too deep can cause bleeding and intense pain. Getting a tattoo can take several hours, depending on the size and design chosen.

  56. Great Ways to Find Good Health

If you want to change your health habits, here are some tried-and-true tips:

    * Exercise! Find a sport you like, walk to school, or ride a bike a few times per week.

    * Drink milk, including fat-free or low-fat milk. (Many teens mistakenly think that milk has more calories than other drinks like soda. But a cup of skim milk has only 80 calories as well as protein and calcium. A can of soda has 150 calories of sugar and no other nutrients at all.)

    * Eat a variety of foods, including plenty — at least five servings a day — of fruits and veggies. (And no, unfortunately, potato chips don't count as veggies!)

    * Drink plenty of water (at least four to six 8-ounce glasses a day).

    * Eat lean, high-protein foods, like lean meat, chicken, fish, or beans.

    * Eat whole grains (like whole-wheat bread or pasta), which provide fiber, B vitamins, and iron.

    * Eat breakfast. Studies show that people who eat breakfast do better in school, tend to eat less throughout the day, and are less likely to be overweight.

    * Choose smaller portions at fast-food restaurants. Avoid supersizing even if it feels like better value.

    * Stay away from fad diets — you might lose a few pounds temporarily, but if you don't focus on changing your habits, you'll probably just gain it back when you go back to your usual way of eating.

    * Don't take diet pills, even ones you get over the counter.

    * Avoid seeing foods as "good" or "bad" or eliminating entire groups of foods, like dairy. If you eliminate entire food groups, you may miss out on important nutrients, like calcium.

    * If you choose to become a vegetarian, talk to your doctor or dietitian about how to make nutritious vegetarian choices.
