  1. Hello everyone. Today I’m going to share with you all some tips for beautiful skin. I bet you all especially girls will be interested with this tips. But I think everyone should know how to take care of our own skin as it will show good impression of us.
Firstly, we have to maintain hygiene and healthy habits for our skin. Always cleans your skin at least twice a day, but we have to be careful with the cleansing products. We have to choose the suitable product with our skin in order to get the best result. Cleaning your skin is very important, for me is a must as it will keep your skin feel fresh and free from oil which can cause acne problems, one of the teenagers big enemy. Next, feel free to expose our skin to the morning sunlight for about 10-15 minutes, as sunlight will provide vitamin D.
Secondly, diet may be helpful for getting beautiful skin. Skin texture can be maintained by having balanced and nutritious diet. Good diet should contain enough amounts of proteins, carbohydrates, fibers, vitamin and minerals. Vitamins will be helpful in moisturizing the skin, soften and making the skin more radiant. Water is also very important for body detoxification, a process of removing harmful toxins form our body.
In addition, healthy skin can be maintained by exercising. Exercising is a good way to get back the natural skin glow, because it will increase the blood flow and oxygen support to the skin as well as remove toxins form our body.
Lastly, there are a few remedies which are helpful in promoting beautiful skin such as honey, cucumber, lemon, yogurt, tomato and face masks. Honey is beneficial for glowing-look skin, while cucumber helps to removes acne scar, black spots and blackheads. Besides that, lemon is good for a shining, healthy skin and yogurt is a natural cleanser and moisturizer. Tomato is a good complexion and flawless skin and masks can improve blood circulation and give shiny supple look to the skin.
As a conclusion, I can say that everyone is dreaming to have a beautiful skin. If we fail to take care of our skin, we may suffer from various skin problems like early aging, wrinkles and pimples. So, why don’t you try these few tips, and see the result yourself!

  2. This is a very good article. Not only about the warm water after your meal, but about heart attack.

The Chinese and Japanese drink hot tea with their meals, not cold water, maybe it is time we adopt their drinking habit while eating.

For those who like to drink cold water, this article is applicable to you. It is nice to have a cup of cold drink after a meal. However, The cold water will solidify the oily stuff that you have just consumed. It will slow down the digestion. Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorded by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.

You should know that not every heart attack sympton is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.

You may never have the first chest pin during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

  3. STAGES OF SLEEP:

I want to shall an article about "stages of sleep". Someone has said, "Blessed is the person who is too busy to worry in the daytime and too sleepy to worry at night." That is so very true! Indeed, sleep is bliss. A night's sleep is a break from the stress of daily life. Sleep may sometimes even act as a solution to some of the problems by helping your brain think in peace and solve serious problems. Naps are definite stress busters. It is during your sleep that you dream, you dream of wonderful things that may not come into reality; but your dreams show them to you. It is during sleep, that you get an opportunity to be with yourself, far away from the real world. You get to meet your subconscious as your sleep takes you away from your conscious self.

Sleep is a natural phenomenon of the state of rest and regular sleep is essential for survival. Interestingly, its true purpose is still being researched. Researchers have not yet obtained conclusive results about the exact purposes of sleep. Moreover, it is interesting to observe, that our sleep undergoes a series of stages. Yes, we sleep in stages. Sometimes we do realize the different forms of sleep in the various stages of sleep, while at other times, the distinction is unclear.

According to the basic classification of the various stages of sleep, sleep is grouped into two distinct stages, namely, REM and NREM. REM sleep is characterized by a rapid movement of the eyes, as also a very low muscle tone that is typically seen in mammals. Most of the dreams that you remember after awakening from sleep, are those occurring in the REM stage of sleep.

The NREM, which is known as the non-REM sleep, is composed of four different stages. A comparatively lesser amount of dreaming occurs during this stage of sleep. Movements of limbs or even sleepwalking are observed during the non-REM stage of sleep. The four stages of the NREM sleep are simply named as N1, N2, N3 and N4. Let us look at each stage of the non-REM sleep in detail.

Stage N1: This stage of sleep can be called as the phase of drowsy sleep, during which you may experience hallucinations and sudden twitches. It is during this stage that you may lose your muscle tone and your conscious awareness. This stage of sleep is characterized by the brain transitions from alpha waves to theta waves and is primarily the stage when sleep starts laying her hands on you!

Stage N2: During this stage of sleep, muscular activity further reduces and the awareness of the external environment vanishes. Sleep spindles, the bursts of brain activity during which the brain tries to stop processing, characterize the N2 stage. Briefly, this stage of sleep is when the brain succumbs to the sleep that had begun to lay her hands on you.

Stage N3: Walking in sleep or sudden feelings of terror when asleep, commonly occur during this stage of sleep. Bed-wetting may also take place during this stage. The stage N3 is mostly only the transition to the fourth stage. It is one of the phases of a very deep sleep. This is the stage wherein the sleep begins to engulf your brain.

Stage N4: It is a stage of an even deeper form of sleep as compared to the third stage. According to some researchers, the third and the forth stages of sleep can be combined and together called as delta sleep. This is when you are fast asleep, far away in the world of sleep.

For me, sleep opens doors to the world of dreams, to the world of meeting yourself, the world that is away from the bitter truths of life. A sound sleep is cloud nine!

  5. I just read a article about fever. So, i would like to share the information with u all.

Fever (also known as pyrexia, from the Greek pyretos meaning fire, or a febrile response, from the Latin word febris, meaning fever, and archaically known as ague) is a frequent medical sign that describes an increase in internal body temperature to levels above normal. Fever is most accurately characterized as a temporary elevation in the body's thermoregulatory set-point, usually by about 1–2 °C.

Fever is caused by an elevation in the thermoregulatory set-point, causing typical body temperature (generally and problematically considered to be 37 °C ±1 °C, see below for specifics) to rise, and effector mechanisms are enacted as a result. A feverish individual has a general feeling of cold despite an increased body temperature, and increases in heart rate, muscle tone and shivering, all of which are caused by the body's attempts to counteract the newly-perceived hypothermia and reach the new thermoregulatory set-point.

Fever differs from hyperthermia in that hyperthermia is an increase in body temperature over the body's thermoregulatory set-point, due to excessive heat production or insufficient thermoregulation, or both.

A fever is considered one of the body's immune mechanisms to attempt a neutralization of a perceived threat inside the body, be it bacterial or viral. Carl Wunderlich discovered that fever is not a disease, but the body's response to a disease.

Fever is actually a response our body towards viruses and bacteria. I learned this when I’m in form 6. Our body rises our body temperature to kill those viruses and bacteria.

  6. Five Steps to Creating a Successful Student

Creating a successful student is easier said than done. Many parents know the right things to do in order to create a successful student, but few put the advice into action, choosing instead to take the path of least resistance. While creating a successful student is not easy, it is well worth it in the end. The value of a good education, whatever the field, is truly priceless.

If you are able to implement even some of the following five tips on a regular basis with your child, then you are on your way to creating a successful student.

Step 1 - Turn off the Television

In general, children watch too much television. Parents and caretakers alike tend to use the television as a babysitter when they are too tired or too overwhelmed to deal with their children. However, if you want to create a successful student, then the television must be turned off at least during the school week.

Many of the television shows that are popular now have little to no redeeming or education al value; on the contrary, in many situation comedies deemed"family fare", fathers/father figures are often the butt of jokes and subject to ridicule. In addition, some basic cable programs that claim to be family oriented often utilize mild profanity and adult situations for entertainment purposes. Even some of the cartoons that are marketed to children are simply strange. SpongeBob SquarePants, anyone?

Step 2 - Unplug the video games

Have you seen the cost of the popular video games? Many of these games cost $50-$60 a pop. The console itself can run to $300.00. Plus, how about the hours that children spend in front of the game, working their way from one level to another? It seems that these hours could be better spent studying, doing homework and reading for pleasure rather than learning how to "kill" in 75 different ways. Too much time in front of these video games only leads to bloodshot eyes, over exercised thumbs and racing hearts from unspent adrenalin.

Step 3 - Increase Family Time

Some parents seem to have gotten too busy for the children in their care. These parents are busy doing their own "thing" while, their children are lacking in adult supervision and adult attention. Although parents may try to occupy their children by purchasing video game consoles, clothes, music and electronics, nothing can replace the attention and love of a parent or caregiver. These objects do nothing to increase the child's aptitude nor do they lend themselves to creating a family.

Sitting down to a meal with your child, talking about their day and showing a real interest in who they are and what they are doing, goes a long way towards creating a true family unit and support system for the child. The family meal is important because this is where the children learn table manners, how to hold their end of a conversation, and simply that someone in the family cares about what they are doing on a day to day basis. This is how you create a successful student.

Step 4 - Increase Physical Activity

Granted, not everyone has the time to shuttle their child back and forth to sports practices and games. However, you can take the time to walk around the block or even up and down the stairs within your home. How about tossing the ball back and forth in the back yard, or tossing a soft foam ball in the house? Can't go outside? How about some jumping jacks, sit ups or a pillow fight? Not only does physical activity get the blood moving – a way to work off some of that excess energy that children have - but it's also a great time to talk. The distraction of the game helps the child (and the adult) break down barriers.

Step 5 - Increase exposure to positive role models

Let's face it, sport/music stars and celebrities are featured prominently in our nation’s consciousness. Because they are almost forced down our throats through news reports, magazines and talk shows children begin to focus on them as role models rather than the hard working people in their daily life. The first role models, of course should be the parent or guardians. Beyond that, there are teachers, coaches, police officers, firefighters and other “ordinary joes and janes” who are a positive influence in the community around them. Further, there are figures in current events who are simply super, such as Mae Jemison, Dr. Ben Carson, Condoleezza Rice, Ronald Reagan, Michael Phelps and others. Reading their stories can be inspiring to a student.

The key to creating a successful student is to lessen outside distractions that have nothing to do with enrichment and increase activities and conversation that is constructive and uplifting. In this way, the student can learn how much education and enrichment can benefit him or her in the long run.

For me I agree this article, this five steps really can help every student to be a successful person but the success need to depend on their own perseverance.

  7. There's more to just exercise an equipment. The world is getting more and more competitive everyday. In order to keep up with such competition, every individual should focus on their body's fitness. For some, it can be a simple walking and running exercises while for others, it may mean many months spent in fitness gyms.

There are different kinds of fitness activity. Some activities require certain equipments, but there are also activities that don’t require any; but there's more to just fitness equipments. A great number of people are much concerned with the right fitness apparel that will suit their exercise activities. This is the very first step to achieve fitness. In today's times, sportswear and fitness apparel flood almost all stores that sell such items. You can find bras, shorts, to full fitness outfits. Most people are able to conduct their fitness exercises effectively if they look great.

  9. I would like to share my thought after I read today's news. In the article, it says that there will be 70,000 more Bangladeshi workers coming to Malaysia. I doubt about what exactly is our minister thinking. At this situation, why our country still import so many foreign country workers instead of taking our own country workers which is many of them had lost their surviving tools in this economic crisis. Although many plan have been come out by the government in order to save the market, but aren’t better that let people to work and feed their own instead of feed them? Besides that, all this foreign workers will bring more social issue to our community. Although in that article, it state that On the social impact of the Bangladeshi workers on Malaysian society, he said the impact was low as the workers were confined mostly to their workplaces and seldom ventured outside, However, considering the huge Bangladeshi population in Malaysia, I do not discount the possibility of a few Bangladeshi youths getting involved with local girls, but this is very rare," he stressed.
.I clearly state that I am not critics to any people but after what happened all this years, can we still believe what stated here? i don't know, perhaps only god will know. All i hope is our government would reconsider the idea, our own country people should always be the priority in any consideration, not because we want to help that poor country but ignoring the problem that arising in our own country. At the ends, perhaps what i say here is a bit too sensitive, this all just my opinion that after i read the article. Thank you.

  15. Look at the weather. Chance to get our lip crisp might higher with the weather that we had right now. To avoid it, maybe drinks a lot of water will help, but there is another way to avoid it. We can use lip balm. Perhaps we can say that the lip balms that sell at the market might have a chemical added so, why don’t we just we make it by ourselves?

Step1, melt your butter, beeswax, and scented oils (optional) in a microwave safe container. I would suggest a glass Pyrex measuring cup. Heat in 30 second intervals until melted. Once melted take off heat and let sit to cool for 3-5 minutes.
Step2 once melted take off heat and let sit to cool for 3-5 minutes. While cooling, clean lip balm containers out thoroughly.
Step3, after cooled it, stir in color (optional).
Step4, pour mixture into your empty container. You can purchase empty containers at cosmetic stores, REI or similar sporting goods/camping stores, or simply reuse your old lip balm pot.
Step5, put in refrigerator until next day. Once cooled it is ready to be used. For a quicker solution, just put in freezer for 2-3 hours. After that, store in a cool place to prevent melting.

    Enjoy!

  16. Herpes vs HPV
There are several strains of the Herpes virus. The two most common strains are known as Oral Herpes (HSV-1) and Genital Herpes (HSV-2). You can have Oral Herpes on the lips, which is most often called fever blisters, or cold sores. Oral Herpes is transmitted from person-to-person by kissing, oral sex, or sharing things like a drinking glass, a toothbrush, or eating utensils. Genital Herpes is most commonly transmitted by vaginal, oral, or anal sex. Non-genital herpes (herpes on other parts of the body; is most often called shingles). Shingles is not sexually transmitted. It is a secondary event long after the initial infection with common 'chicken pox'. Shingles is usually a one-off occurrence.

Genital warts can appear at any portion of the body. In the case of sores and blisters that happen in the genital area, they are caused by HPV or the human papillomavirus. HPV is caused by sexual contact. The HPV infection is a common STD or sexually transmitted disease in North America. If the virus is dangerous it can also cause penile or cervical cancer.

According to a survey done by Center for Disease Control and Prevention, almost 50% of the people who are termed as sexually active have been affected by HPV at some time or the other. After the person is infected, the warts may appear within a month or three months after the infection. Although warts are common in this disease, there are some who might not have warts at all. If you feel that you are infected by warts, you should consult the doctor immediately. Genital warts can look like red growths or bumps, or they can take the color of flesh. The bumps generally appear around the vagina or anus, and at times on the cervix. Sometimes they can be extremely painful if the bumps appear on groin, thigh, penis and scrotum.

Sometimes the warts can look like a cauliflower, and at times that are so tiny, that they can be hardly noticed. There can be multiple blisters or a single blister. At times they can appear in clusters. If the person had oral sex with his or her partner, the genital warts can appear inside the throat or the mouth of a person. The main reason behind the spread of HPV is oral, anal or genital sex with an infected partner. At times it is difficult to know if you are affected or not, because like most of the STDs you will never find any visible symptoms. In most women warts are found either on the cervix or inside the vagina. In case of men, they are found on the tip of the penis.

Although genital warts are common, they are perfectly curable and there are some viruses that may lead to cervical cancer. Women should have annual pap tests in order to know if there are any abnormalities. During pregnancy genital warts can become prominent. If they are near the vaginal opening, they may cause complications during childbirth. There are people who can shun themselves from any contact with the outside world if they are detected with HPV. It is better not to stigmatize yourself with anyone and create opportunities for dialogue and dating. There are millions of people living with HPV and Herpes looking to meet other people living with the virus.

  18. Our brain is amazing. All scientific and technological achievements of human civilization come from the brain.

To better appreciate the magic of the brain, here are top 10 interesting facts about the human brain:

    1. Your brain is the most energy-consuming part of your body. The brain represents only 2% of the body weight, but it uses up to 20 percent of the body’s energy production. The energy is used for cell-health maintenance and to fuel electrical impulses that neurons employ to communicate with one another.

    2. Your brain contains about 100 billion neurons which is about 16 times the number of people on Earth. Each of them links to as many as 10,000 other neurons. This huge number of connections opens the way to massive parallel processing within the brain.

    3. The neocortex (a section of the brain involved with language and consciousness) accounts for about 76% of the mass of the human brain. Human neocortex is much larger than any animals. It gives humans unique mental capacities although its brain architecture is similar to that of more primitive species.

    4. Humans do not use only 10% or less of their brain. This is a common misconception. Even though many mysteries of brain function persist, every part of the brain has a known function.

  20. I've read about:HISTORY OF CHOCOLATE
The tasty secret of the cacao (kah KOW) tree was discovered 2,000 years ago in the tropical rainforests of the Americas. The pods of this tree contain seeds that can be processed into chocolate. The story of how chocolate grew from a local Mesoamerican beverage into a global sweet encompasses many cultures and continents.

The first people known to have made chocolate were the ancient cultures of Mexico and Central America. These people, including the Maya and Aztec, mixed ground cacao seeds with various seasonings to make a spicy, frothy drink.

Later, the Spanish conquistadors brought the seeds back home to Spain, where new recipes were created. Eventually, and the drink’s popularity spread throughout Europe. Since then, new technologies and innovations have changed the texture and taste of chocolate, but it still remains one of the world’s favorite flavors.

Once this "sludge" reacts with the acid, it will break down and be absorbed by the intestine faster than the solid food. It will line the intestine. Very soon, this will turn into fats and lead to cancer. It is best to drink hot soup or warm water after a meal.
You should know that not every heart attack symptom is going to be the left arm hurting. Be aware of intense pain in the jaw line.
You may never have the first chest pin during the course of a heart attack. Nausea and intense sweating are also common symptoms. 60% of people who have a heart attack while they are asleep do not wake up. Pain in the jaw can wake you from a sound sleep.

  25. Do you like to drink coffee? Some say that it is a bad habit since it contains caffeine. But here is a different opinion.

WOMEN who drink a lot of coffee may have less risk of developing cancer of the uterus, a Japanese study said today.

The study led by Japan's health ministry monitored some 54,000 women aged 40 to 69 over about 15 years, during which time 117 women developed cancer in the womb, according to the medical team.

The researchers at Japan's National Cancer Center divided the women into four groups by the amount of coffee they drank.

They found the group of women who drank more than three cups of coffee every day were more than 60 per cent less likely to develop uterine cancer than those who had coffee fewer than two times a week, the study said.

"Coffee may have effects in lowering insulin levels, possibly curbing the risks of developing womb cancer," the study said.

The medical team also studied the effects of drinking green tea, but did not find any link to uterine cancer.

According to the US Centres for Disease Control, uterine cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women.

  26. Did you all know that laughter will reduces your streess. It also improves memory and helps keep our hearts healthy. The ability to laugh is hard-wired into our system, and new research shows that it's not good for us,it's contagious. That's why, sitcom are funnier when we are in a group that when we see someone laugh, our brain seems to activate "mirror neurons" that send us into the same fit of laughter.

Laughing for 10 to 15 minutes increases your heart rate by 10 to 20 per cent, which means you can burn an extra 40 to 165KJ a day. I think it is so interesting that over a year we can add up around two kilograms in weight loss. Ease pain. In US study, experts discover that children tolerate pain better than usual when watching a funny tv programme. Lastly, stay healthy. Humour will increases the production and effectiveness of natural killer cells tha stomp out germs. Thank you.

Laughter can reduce people's stress and also can keep our hearts healthy.

  27. Dietary mineral

Dietary minerals are the chemical elements required by living organisms, other than the four elements carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen that are present in common organic molecules. The term "mineral" is archaic, since the intent is to describe simply the less common elements in the diet: heavier than the four just mentioned; including several metals; and often occurring as ions in the body. Some dietitians recommend that these be supplied from foods in which they occur naturally, or at least as complex compounds, or sometimes even from natural inorganic sources (such as calcium carbonate from ground oyster shells). On the other hand, minerals are often artificially added to the diet as supplements, the most famous being iodine in iodized salt.

  28. Macrominerals

Many elements are essential in quantity; also called "bulk minerals". Some are structural, but many play a role as electrolytes.Elements with recommended dietary allowance (RDA) greater than 200 mg/day are the following, in alphabetical order (with informal or folk-medicine perspectives in parentheses):

Calcium, a common electrolyte, but also structural (for muscle and digestive system health, builds bone, neutralizes acidity, clears toxins, helps blood stream)
Chlorine as chloride ions; very common electrolyte; see sodium, below
Magnesium, required for processing ATP and related reactions (builds bone, causes strong peristalsis, increases flexibility, increases alkalinity)
Phosphorus, required component of bones; essential for energy processing
Potassium, a very common electrolyte (heart and nerve health)
Sodium, a very common electrolyte; not generally found in dietary supplements, despite being needed in large quantities, because the ion is very common in food: typically as sodium chloride, or common salt
Sulfur for three essential amino acids and therefore many proteins (skin, hair, nails, liver, and pancreas) .

  29. RECOVERY AND THE WAY OF THE PEACEFUL WARRIOR :

I had read an article about "Recovery And The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior". The work of Dan Millman is very powerful for assisting one in transforming their lives. In my work at the Holistic Addiction Treatment Program I introduce all of the clients to “The Way of the Peaceful Warrior” both as a book and movie. Below are listed some of the distinctions that are presented in the movie. After the movie a discussion group is held to process these distinctions and how they may assist the clients in their recovery from drugs and alcohol.

    1. Knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge is knowing something and Wisdom is doing it.
    2. Highest purpose is for us to be of service to others.
    3. “Take out the trash”. Trash the thoughts in your mind that keeps you out of the moment.
    4. We are afraid of what is inside. The only place to find what you need is inside you. The experience of fear/being scared is about being empty.
    5. Are you paying attention (to your addiction)?
    6. What are you holding onto (that keeps you stuck in your addiction)? Who are you without your addiction? Practice of letting go of what you are holding onto that keeps you stuck. Give up your attachments.
    7. “Not knowing” is the first principle of a Warrior. Getting this allows one to be and remain teachable, open to learning.
    8. There are no ordinary moments. There is always something going on. Pay attention to the present or now.
    9. Give up the Good-Bad, Right-Wrong way of thinking about yourself and others.
    10. Happiness is about your journey and not the destination.

I think that someone must observe our rules and principle to keep away from addiction. If not, our future will destroy....

The winter holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve and New Years Day - are typically filled with busy calendars, family visits, parties, shopping and travel. For many people, these holidays are festive and represent a welcome break from their regular activities and work obligations. However, not everyone finds joy in sharing yuletide cheer, laughter, and food with loved ones. In fact, many experts say that problems like anxiety, stress, depression, alcohol and drug abuse, suicide and domestic violence increase during the holidays. To avoid these cases happen,i suggest someone can go traveling with family and friends during the holidays because it is the key of preparation to a happier,stress-free journey...so enjoy your holiday...

  32. My zodiac is Sagittarius. I was accidently read that all the constellation have their own story. Thus, I went to search for the story of my constellation, the story of Sagittarius.

The story is about a centaur named Chiron. Centaur is a rude, untrustworthy, violent and deceptive creature, but Chiron was different from others because he was educated by Sun-god Apollo and Goddess of the Moon Diana. Chiron was a kind, gentle and wise centaur. He was an excellent archer, musician and physician.

Children of many famous king were sent to Chiron to be taught of all manner of skills. Hercules and Aesculapius were his mighty pupil who skilled at medicine.

One day, Hercules was very thirsty, so he asked a friend for a jar of excellent wine which belonging jointly to all the centaurs. The centaurs knew it and very angry. They began to attack Hercules and his friend. Soon, Hercules had killed many of them. At the same time, Chiron was nearby the scene. Unfortunately, Hercules was accidently shot Chiron with a poisoned arrow. Chiron was suffering so much but he could not cure himself. He was in agony but immortal.

Chiron offered himself to replace Prometheus who was punished for giving fire for man.

As the result of Chiron's goodness, Jupiter placed him in the constellation Sagittarius.

I had found different versions of the story of Sagittarius. Mostly the different is the story after Chiron hurt by the poison arrow. This is one of the versions.

  34. JiaoZi (dumpling) is one of the quiet essential food eaten during the Chinese New Year (more practiced in China). Made with ground meat, vegetables and spices.

Here are the sumamry of how to make dumplings.

First, make the dough by mixing water into the flour. Press the dough with hands till it is not sticky.

The second step, mix the meat, mushrooms, sauces and vegetables(depend on what kind of filling we want to make) till they are mixed in a paste. Add some spices such as ginger and onion and stir them evenly.

Then, make the wrappings. Roll the dough with a round stick into small round pieces of wrappings, each two inches in diameter.

Next is wrapping the filling. Put the filling into the wrapping, then press the wrapping tight and a jiaozi is ready.

For the last step. Fry the dumpling till golden brownish, then splash one tablespoon of water into the pan and quickly cover the pan. Let the dumplings steam in the evaporating water for another minute longer.

    Serve and joy the JiaoZi.

I am missing my mother's handmade JiaoZi.

  35. Using a pen tablet to replace mouse?

In my opinion, using pen tablet is more convenient because this thing can get down to ONE pixel, and is way too fine for me! If you want to free-hand draw, or use it for the application you stated, it's perfect!

I do digital image editing, and it's just too precise for me. Or maybe I'm just spoiled with using a mouse for so long.

Also, there are many types of tablets that available at market nowadays. From the cheaper to the expensive one. But it's depends to us to choose which one is better. Example the tablet space is 3 inches by 4 inches, but don't think this is a small area. Your monitor is your drawing pad. For drawing purposes of course. For what you want, it will seem like miles of room.

For anyone out there who loves to do digital drawing, I suggest you to buy tablet. It's really convenient!!

  36. Did you know that today, there are more than 2 700 different languages spoken in the world, with more than 7 000 dialects, most of which are catalogued by the Ethnologue language dictionary.

In Indonesia alone, 365 different languages are spoken. More than 1,000 different languages are spoken in Africa. The most difficult language to learn is Basque, which is spoken in north-western Spain and south-western France.
It is not related to any other language in the world. Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world, followed by English.

But as home language, Spanish is the second most spoken in the world.

  37. Water, water, water...

We already know that one can live without food for almost a month but survive no longer than a week without water. Yet, although almost half of the world's population lives in water-scarce countries, there actually is enough of this precious liquid for everyone.

    Some factoids for your information

World Water Day is celebrated on March, 22nd every year.
One kilogram (2.5 pounds) of grain-fed beef needs at least 15 cubic metres of water, while a kilogram of cereals needs only up to three cubic metres.
Between 6 and 9 million people die annually of thirst.
Seventy percent of the water used worldwide is used for agriculture.
Australia is the continent with the least rainfall, apart from Antarctica.

  38. Are you taking dangerous diet pills?

A few days ago, the FDA expanded their list of weight-loss supplements that consumers should avoid because they may contain undeclared, potentially harmful ingredients. Translation: You could be swallowing more than you bargained for. The list of substances found in some of these supplements include prescription ingredients that can cause serious medical side effects or drugs or herbs that can dangerously interact with meds you're already taking.

The list of dubious ingredients--click here for the names of the pills--even includes an anti-seizure medication and an antidepressant (!!!). The bottom line: Don't EVER take a weight loss supplement unless it's been prescribed or OK'd by your doctor. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.

Is the economy making you fat? What you need to know to put a stop to recession-stress weight gain!If you or someone you know has experienced any negative health side effects from a supplement, first call your doctor. Then, be sure to report it to the FDA at www.fda.gov/MedWatch/report.htm.

I'll blog about something more upbeat next week (like you need to read more bad news during these trying times!), but I want women to be aware--the Madoffs of the world aren't just lurking in the finance sector. Safe dieting everyone!

In my opinion, diet must do in a healthy way. We must not taking any dangerous pills.

  39. Mental Health and Criminal Tendencies
The increase of all kinds of mental ailments and disturbances is the most alarming of all diseases of the modern age. There are more and more mentally sick patients all over the world; especially in the affluent countries.
In many cases of the criminal element within our society is mentioned in the same breath as mental illness. One positive and far-reaching work of Freud, is the recognition that criminals and delinquents are mentally sick people, who need treatment rather than punishment. It is this liberal outlook on the problem that is the basis of all ‘progressive’ social reform to replace punishment with rehabilitation. (Reader’s Digest)
