  2. REAL FRIEND TEST!

I especially like the last sentence!!!!!!

A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest.
A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself and doesn't feel even the least bit weird shutting your 'Pepsi drawer' with her foot!

A simple friend has never seen you cry.
A real friend shoulder is soggy from your tears ...

A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names.
A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.

A simple friend brings a bottle of wine to your party.
A real friend comes early to help you cook and stays late to help you clean.

A simple friend hates it when you call after they've gone to bed.
A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.

A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems.
A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.

A simple friend wonders about your romantic history.
A real friend could blackmail you with it!

A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend calls you after you had a fight.

A simple friend expects you to always be there for them.
A real friend expects to always be there for you!

It keeps us together, like our Circle of Friends.
Today I pass this on to you.

Buying low fat is just the beginning. You need to institute low fat cooking methods to keep the cholesterol from sneaking back in to your diet.

  4. recycle

Everyone should recycle as much of their waste as possible to prevent reusable materials being buried in land fill waste sites. Recycling does not cost anything, takes only a little extra time, and can make an amazing difference to the world.
In many regions recyling boxes are not provided which people can use to collect recyclable materials for collection at the same time as their domestic waste. Where that is not the case recycling banks are always close by and waiting for your waste. Simply keep a couple of plastic boxes next to your waste bin and decide if whatever you plan on throwing away can be recycled. If it can, put it in the right box.

Organic matter and garden waste should be going on your compost heap, or at least be saved for a gardener in your family or group of friends.

Paper and cardboard make up the majority of domestic waste and can, in the most part, be recycled. Most supermarkets have recycling stations where old newspapers and cardboard boxes can be deposited for recycling so just drop them off before you go shopping. According to Friends of the Earth, one million tonnes of newspapers alone are thrown away each year in the UK! Paper is biodegradable and very easy to recycle and so the used of recyled paper saves on the costs (economic and environmental) of cutting down trees, and also the costs of importing and transporting.

Glass bottles and jars can be saved for a similar fate. Simply rinse them out and store them ready to drop off at the recycling station. Kids love hearing the sound of smashing glass so get them involved too!

Most plastic bottles and packaging can be recycled. They need to be sorted, but usually all plastics can be put into a plastic recycling bank and the complex sorting process if done for you.

Finally tin cans and aluminium drinks cans can be rinsed, squashed, and saved for recyling at your recycling bank.

That pretty much covers everything we throw away each week. Books, clothes and anything else of value should be given to charity shops where they can make money for their causes at the same time as giving someone else the chance to reuse your things, or sell them on eBay to make yourself money. (Reuse is always better than recycling since no energy is wasted in processing.)

Old computers, batteries, televisions, washing machines etc contain many recyclable items and often materials which are harmful to the environment. These should be taken to your local council tip for correct processing or to a recycler.

Recycle have more benefit for us, it can help us decreasing the pollution and also can reduce usage. So we should start recycling at home.

Well if you wonder why men do have nipples is because during our embryo stage. We uses women template. Thus we share something in common.Like nose , ears and etc.The reason we have two gender men and women is because in the later part of our life development.Genes come into play. That`s where the X and Y chromosomes do their part.
Thus in the book for men to have nipple is useless.Same goes to hair.Useless.Or maybe is a sovunior from our parents.

  8. i'm not a big fan of poetry..
but there is one poem that reallyt attract me..
it's a poem about the environment..

    here is the poems..

    Can earth be earth??

Can earth be eath when all the trees are gone,
and susdy waters have become unfit,
and poisoned life no longer greets dawn,
with raucous sounds that death has caused to quit?
will trees no longer wave, with limbs unfurled,
on hapless earth, that ever in orbit roams?
will human ego sacrifice the world
to satiate its lust for pompous homes?
will distant space look down on orb that's bald.
i now can hear the mother say
    "i was once called earth.
But now, bereft of mirth,i weep.
That treeless orb's no longer Earth"

  9. I would like to share article that I just saw this morning. The title is Gaza children traumatised after Israeli offensive. Ever since attacking of Israel in Gaza had bring many pain in both side .Especially in Gaza, many people had lost their only home and also their love ones in the war. Health workers say many children, including those who did not lose family members or their homes, are suffering post-war trauma. The Gaza Mental Health Programme is seeking them out in hospitals, schools and kindergartens. This war had causing very big impact which you and I cannot also imagine in deep inside heart of these children that suppose to happily stay in their parent’s protection. This war had cause many of the Gaza Strip's children have refused to return to their homes. Some have bad dreams or wet their beds, while others show aggressive behaviour or little signs of life at all. This had definitely mark a dark spot in the child grows. All this making me feel sick’s of the war. Although in Malaysia peacefully life is like normal and people like ignoring it. But when look at those children in Gaza, peaceful life is something that day cannot afford to have it. War in Gaza not only destroy all the building and also life of people but also destroy future life of these children. They had no more dream about their future. Perhaps dream is too abstract for them. Feel like want to do something to help them, but my power is too small. I hope that this war would end soon. Give back normal life that they should have. I strongly demand both side should stop the war for the sake of innocent people in Gaza and also in Israel side. Please do not sacrifice them in the war.

  10. Differences between girls and boys..
    You guys should know this..

1.A girl has a larger stomach, kidneys, liver, and appendix than a guy, but she has smaller lungs, thus giving her less breathing capacity than a guy.

2.The right hemisphere of guys’ brains are better developed, therefore they are more visual, mathematic, exploring, more sex oriented, and commit most violent crime. Girls, though, have the left hemisphere more developed and are therefore more verbal, communicative, sensitive, and more prone to phobias and depression.

3.Girls love cats. Guys say they love cats, but when girls aren’t looking, they kick cats.

4.A girl worries about the future until she gets a husband, while a guy never worries about the future until he gets a wife.

5.Guys will never speak a word or make eye contact with others they don’t know there. But girls who’ve never even met will, by the time they’re finished, leave laughing out loud together like old friends.

  13. if u want to start your diet, make sure to follow this tips..

Step 1) Always sit down when you eat, preferable at a table. Don't eat while standing, walking, driving or talking on the phone.
Step 2) Don't read or watch television while you eat.
Step 3) Eat only when your stomach is empty. At least 3 to 4 hours from your last meal.
Step 4) Don't take a bite until you've already swallowed the previous bite. Obvious? Try observing people and you'll see them stuffing their mouths, which are still full. They probably talk at the same time! So, bite, chew, swallow, bite, chew, swallow.
Step 5) Don't eat when you're not hungry. No, I'm being serious and I know that this sounds stupid. For example when at home wait 5 minutes before taking second helpings. If you wait, you'll probably find that you're no longer hungry, whereas if you don't wait you could probably eat thirds! Remember ... Wait five minutes before taking more.

  15. Have you ever wonder why do people lie?

There are lots of reasons behind people telling lies. Although each reason might be different from the other, all of them stem from one root; being unable to bear the consequences of telling the truth.

Lack of courage, lack of problem-solving skills & lack of ability to properly handle unexpected events may make escaping a situation a much better option than facing it. If the person values honesty or if he is religiously observant then he may try to escape the situation without lying. If lying is an option then it will definitely be considered the easier way out.

Consequently, lying is the combination of being unable to face the results of honesty and the lack of proper values;the tolerance of lying.

    Handling lies...

If you are always the subject of lies, the links below can come in handy as they will teach you how to spot a liar. If you are prone to lying, then you will need to learn how to face situations instead of escaping them. Increasing your problem-handling skills, lying won’t be your only option but will be one amongst many others.

  16. One question…What makes successful people successful?
But let’s look past that fantasy and find out one of the most basic reasons why people become successful.

Right now, think of someone that you know personally who is successful. Can you see their face in your mind?
    Good.

Now ask yourself this question, “Does this person have a successful routine or set of habits that makes them successful?” It would be shocked if they didn’t.

Sometimes the only difference between being successful and being average is having successful habits. Some examples of successful habits could be getting up earlier, doing thing when they need to be done, being prepared, or effective time management.
So how do you start to build these success habits in your life?
Here are 4 tips on creating successful habits.

    1. Identify – Find the areas in your life that need changing. Write down these new habits that need to be formed. Don’t become overwhelmed at trying to figure out how you are going to form all of these habits.
    2. Pick 2 – Most people sabotage themselves by trying to change everything at once. Instead, pick one major and one minor habit that you want to form. For the next 30-90 days these will be the success habits that you will create.
    3. Start small – Now that you have your two success habits, create a daily or weekly routine that is easy to follow. For instance, let’s say that you want to wake up an hour earlier so that you can get more successful things done. Instead of setting your alarm an hour earlier right at the beginning, only set it 2-5 minutes earlier every morning until you reach your goal. This way it would take you 30 days or 12 days respectively to create your success habit.
Remember, the best way to eat an elephant is one bite at a time.
    4. Repeat – Once you have created your new habits move on to the next 2 success habits that you want to create. Before you know it you will have created a whole new life full of success filled habits.

Just imagine where you will be in one year if you follow these four keys to creating successful habits but I don't think so if you just only imagine that...

  17. Tips for success in Marketing
1)bear in mind that your title plays a big role in the efficacy of your article. You may have the best material on the planet, but no-one is going to read your article if your title is dull or does not tell them what your article is basically about.
    2) ensure that your article is structured in a simple to read demeanour. To ensure that your readers read your article fully all of the way through, you must ensure that the info that they need can be simply and freely found.

3)If you're looking to make article content for an article selling campaign that folks are going to need to read, then you want to be willing to write articles that are educational. Your articles should have good info in them, because you would like to build yourself a name as an authority on the topic that you're selling, instead of just regurgitating info that may be found everywhere else. If you don't know the way to write valuable or educational info about your niche, you may be in the inaccurate business.

4)Eventually , ensure that the outline for your article is both familiar and remarkable. The title could be the most vital facet of your article, but you want to be in a position to back that up with a good outline. The outline is going to inform folks precisely what they can find in your article, in order that they know straight away if they're going to need to read it.

  18. I've rad about some interesting articles about cat..
    do you know that..
Cats are believed to have first been domesticated, by most accounts, somewhere between 4,000 and 5000 B.C., by the Egyptians.
Recent evidence, however, indicates that a close relationship with humans may date back much farther than that.
There is a grave found in Cyprus, estimated to be about 9,500 years old, shows that a cat was buried only inches from a human.

  20. I've read about : Colour Blindness

Colour blindness is an inaccurate term for a lack of perceptual sensitivity to certain colors. Absolute colour blindness is almost unknown, but in very rare cases, total colour blindness occurs. Colour blindness can happen in one of two ways:

Typical: Complete inability to discriminate between any colour variations, which is usually associated with other severe vision impairments.

Atypical: The ability to only see very clear colours.

Affecting around 7% of men and around 0.04% women, the main form of colour blindness is the inability to distinguish red from green. This means that people affected do not see the colours red and green the same way as others. The cause of this is due to the red or green photoreceptors working incorrectly.

Now I got some tips that read from article to reduce our stress and I would like to share with you all.
    Calm down
We have to calm yourself down to reduce stress. Many have heard the advice that we should stop what we are doing and count to ten when we feel stressed. There is a lot of truth to this technique even if it sound common place.

    Deep Breathing
Next time we feel stressed we should try this trick and take several long, deep breaths. If we want to we can count but it is not necessary. We can help yourself to reduce stress by slowing our breathing.

We will actually feel less stressed if we breathe like this several time and eventually we won't feel stressed at all.

  22. Do you know that Green Tea is one of the most effective weight loss supplements that you can consume to help you lose weight?
I just read from one article say that green tea can help people lose wight.

Green tea also causes carbohydrates to be released slowly, preventing sharp increases in blood-insulin levels. This promotes the burning of fat.
Caffeine is another component in green tea which scientists think plays an important role in green tea's ability to help people lose weight. Green tea contains less caffeine than coffee. There are approximately 30 to 60 mg. of caffeine in 8 ounces of tea, compared to more than 100 mg. in 8 ounces of coffee.
If helping people to lose weight was not enough, green tea provides additional health benefits far and beyond weight loss, including:
Protects against Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's

  23. I'm sure that everyone sometimes cannot avoid themselves from thinking negatively...so, here some tips that might being useful for us,

Never respond when you are not calm. If you are not sure that you are calm, don’t respond. Take time to calm yourself down first.
Take a deep breath as a first step to calm yourself down.
Speak in gentle tone to reduce the tension of the situation.
Realize that you can find opportunities in negative situations. Albert Einstein said: “In the middle of every difficulty lies opportunity.”
Look at the content of what people say to you for something positive that you can act upon to improve yourself. Don’t just reject the whole messages.
For the rest of the messages which is negative, simply ignore it.
Maintain positive view of the people. Maybe you don’t like their messages or behavior, but that doesn’t mean that you can hate them personally.
Realize that having negative feelings will just hurt you, not them. So there is no reason for you to have any negative feeling.
If you make mistakes, be open to admit it.
If you make mistakes, remember this quote by George Bernard Shaw: “A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable, but more useful than a life spent doing nothing.”

  24. Language is one of the things that set us apart as beings, one of the things that essentially define us as humans. When language is used well it can elicit very deep feeling in others, motivate others to action and define the nature of our relationships. We have seen language recently used in the politics of persuasion, used for good or ill – depending on your viewpoint. When we use language to express our true feelings to someone it can open and deepen the connection between us. Language is a very powerful tool. How we use language shapes our world both internally and externally. How you use self-talk – what you say to yourself about yourself and about the world directly shapes your experience of both yourself and the world. How you deliver communication shapes the way the world responds to you. We can use language more effectively in both spheres: internal and external and directly influence the health and power of our personal relationships and our business relationships.

  25. Fat

A molecule of fat consists of several fatty acids (containing long chains of carbon and hydrogen atoms), bonded to a glycerol. They are typically found as triglycerides (three fatty acids attached to one glycerol backbone). Fats may be classified as saturated or unsaturated. Saturated fats have all of the carbon atoms in their fatty acid chains bonded to hydrogen atoms, whereas unsaturated fats have some of these carbon atoms double-bonded, so their molecules have relatively few hydrogen atoms. Unsaturated fats may be further classified as monounsaturated (one double-bond) or polyunsaturated (many double-bonds). Trans fats are a type of unsaturated fat with trans-isomer fatty acid, typically created in an industrial process called (partial) hydrogenation.

Many studies have shown that unsaturated fats, particularly monounsaturated fats, are best in the human diet. Saturated fats, typically from animal sources, are next, while trans fats are to be avoided. Saturated and trans fats are typically solid at room temperature (such as butter or lard), while unsaturated fats are typically liquids (such as olive oil or flaxseed oil). Trans fats are very rare in nature, but have properties useful in the food processing industry.

  26. Dietary fiber

Fiber is a carbohydrate (or a polysaccharide) that is incompletely absorbed in humans and in some other animals. Like all carbohydrates, when it is metabolized it can produce four Calories (kilocalories) of energy per gram: but in fact it accounts for less than that because of its limited absorption. Dietary fiber consists mainly of cellulose, a large carbohydrate polymer that is indigestible because humans do not have the required enzymes. There are two subcategories: soluble and insoluble fiber. Whole grains, fruits (especially plums, prunes, and figs), and vegetables are rich in dietary fiber. Fiber is important to digestive health and is thought to reduce the risk of colon cancer. It can help in alleviating both constipation and diarrhea. Fiber provides bulk to the intestinal contents, and insoluble fiber stimulates peristalsis: the rhythmic muscular contractions passing along the digestive tract. Some soluble fibers produce a solution of high viscosity: a gel, which slows the movement of food through the intestines. Fiber, especially from whole grains, may help lessen insulin spikes and reduce the risk of diabetes.

  27. GLOBAL WARMING :

Many experts believe that the burning of fossil fuels and pollutants, a dire consequence of industrialization, causes Global Warming. Others believe that global warming is just a natural cycle of the planet. Regardless of cause, the higher temperatures caused by global warning have serious consequences: drought, disease, and floods, lost ecosystems. Unnaturally hot weather and rising sea levels indicate that global warming is no longer just a theory. We should protect our planet by doing environmental planning...We can plant more trees, stop burning, stop cutting trees, etc...

  29. IT IS ABOUT THE CHOICE :

Much of the recovery process is about choice. It is a choise to do recovery, to go to meetings and work with a sponsor. It is a choice to do readings of recovery material, to have conversations about recovery with others and to assist others in recovery. When we do not take on choice as what it is about, we are attempting to not be in responsibility for something that is happening to us in our life. If we do not acknowledge that we are always making or having a choice in what we experience we will tend to believe that something is happening to us as opposed to us creating or sourcing it into our life. Taking on choice as what it is about is very powerful and keeps us in our responsibility.I agree that we must make a rational choice and this will decide your future...

  30. Coca-cola is one of the most common soft drink. I had searched on the web to understand more about Coca-cola.

Coca-cola is origine from one kind of patent medicine that invented by John Pemberton in May, 1886. Doctor John Pemberton is a pharmachist from Atlantia, Georgia. The brand was bought out by Asa Griggs Candler who was a clever businessman that had dominant the world soft-drink market in the 20th century.

The Coca-Cola Enterprise is the largest single Coca-cola bottler in North America and western Europe. The company had introduced other cola drinks under the Coke brand. Some of the products also available on Malaysia market. For example: Vanilla-Coke, Coca-Cola Zero, Diet Coke, Coca-cola Light and so on.

The Coca-Cola logo was created by Pemberton's bookkeeper, Frank Mason Robinson in 1885. The logo's distinctive cursive script known as Spencerian script which developed in mid 19th century. Robinson had played a very important role in early Coca-Cola advertising which helped a lot in Pemberton's marketing approaches.

By the way, Coca-Cola has been criticized that the soda and sweetened drinks can be harmful and are the main source of calories in the American diet. One of the most common competitor of Coca-cola is Pepsi which is a fast-growing soft-drink producer.

Anyway, I like to drink Coca-cola too.

  31. Today, I am going to discuss about movie. I think everyone enjoy watching movie. Movies have played a significant role in an individual's life. But what is the guideline for you to determine the quality of movie? The actors who take role? The synopsis of the story? i think there will be variety of comment for this question. For me, i think that i will determine the quality of movie base on the synopsis of the video. That is because of i just concern for the story, whether the story is interesting and what the story is talking about.

  33. The 5 Secrets of Dynamic Public Speaking:

The 1st is The Intellectual. You must know your material – if that means staying up all night, so be it. Your adrenaline will get you through it and you can crash later. While I am an advocate of good rest and proper nutrition, if you are scheduled to speak, there’s a good chance you won’t sleep the night before anyway. By knowing your material, I’m referring to practicing it out loud. I can’t tell you the number of people who come to me for a class or a session and admit to me that they ‘read their presentation over’ in their mind or that they perused it. Reading it over in your mind is entirely different from saying your words out loud. Your audience is there to hear you speak to them. If you plan to read it, why not copy it, pass it out, and then everyone can go home!

The 2nd secret is The Physical. There are a multitude of books and courses available on public speaking, but you will find very few that talk about one of the best means of controlling nervousness and that is through diaphragmatic breathing. When I work with clients as well as in my DVD series, the first thing I teach is how to breathe with the support of the diaphragm, something the majority of the population are not doing. We are renowned for being lazy or shallow breathers using only the upper portion of the chest for respiration. Not only does lazy or shallow breathing increase our stress but it also means that the voice box, throat, mouth and/or nose are the primary amplifiers for the voice. By breathing with the support of the diaphragm, however, you are then able to utilize your chest as your major sounding board, your major amplifier. The result is a warmer, richer, resonant speaking voice which has the ability to be increased in volume without shouting. Breathlessness will be no more; the quiver will be gone; vocal abuse will end; and, you will discover total control over your voice and your nerves! For public speaking, it is the smartest and the best thing you can do.

The Social secret is the ability to treat your audience just as if you were having a conversation in your living room. So often when we get up to the lectern or stand at the boardroom table, we think we should be something or someone we’re not. I want you to be you. The best speakers are those who are themselves, which means making eye contact with your listeners. You will discover that you will feel more comfortable if you zoom in on your smilers (every audience has them!) than if you stare at an object on the wall or imagine that your audience is sitting in their underwear! The idea is to speak to your audience, not at them, and, that is only possible when you connect with your audience.

The 4th component is The Emotional. Speaking with life, with emotion, with expression is known as color, that which makes your delivery truly dynamic. There is no right or wrong with color except having none which is known as boring or monotoned. Color is not only heard in the voice but it is also seen in your facial expression as well as your body language. While many people are colorful in conversation, at the lectern there are those whose nervousness is so great that all color drains from their face as well as the rest of their delivery. Learning to control your nervousness means allowing yourself to be expressive.

The last secret for dynamic speaking is The Spiritual, believing in yourself. If you walk up to that lectern thinking you can’t do it, how successful do think you will be? For the A-type personality, forget perfection because if you insist on being perfect you will fail. What is perfection in a live performance? Who is to say it is perfect? Truly great speakers make mistakes. Chances are you will make a mistake. Every broadcaster on radio and TV makes mistakes. It is common; it is natural; it is normal. (I’m not talking about lots of mistakes – that happens when you’re not prepared.) So don’t let a mistake throw you. Fix it, if need be, and move on. Forget perfection and tell yourself instead that you are going to do the best job that you can do. And then do it.

  35. I had visited the Great Wall of China in 08's winter. Here is a brief description about it.

The Great Wall of China was built mainly to protect the Chinese Empire from the Mongolians and other invaders. It was first built in the 7th century B.C. when China was still divided into many small states. The construction of the Great wall had never ceased for nearly all the Chinese fuadal dynasties.

The majestic Great Wall was built with wisdom, dedication, blood, sweat and tears. It has been estimated that somewhere in the range of 2 to 3 million Chinese died as part of the centuries-long project of building the wall.

  36. True fact!! Eye candy might more appropriately be called brain candy. Seeing a pretty face is like eating a piece of oh-so-sweet chocolate — for the brain, if not for the stomach.
In fact, attractive faces activate the same reward circuitry in the brain as food, drugs and money. For humans, there is something captivating and unforgettable about the arrangement of two balls, a point and a horizontal slit on the front of the head.

The power of faces isn’t lost on psychologists. “Faces are interesting because they impart so much information — expression, attention — and these interact with facial beauty,” says Anthony Little of the University of Stirling in Scotland.

But while facial improvements leave those who subscribe to them with a healthy glow and the illusion of youth — subtracting a few years can bump you up a few notches on the hot-or-not barometer — studies of attractiveness have tended to leave the scientists who undertake them with puzzled looks, gray hairs and wrinkles.

Believing beauty to be in the eye of the beholder isn’t exactly wrong, but research suggests that there are some universal standards to attractiveness that everyone seems to apply.

And anyone who has gawked at a supermodel with big eyes and high cheekbones or the prominent jaw of a soap opera hunk knows that these beauties bring something else to the mirror. Sexually dimorphic characteristics — meaning those that make someone very masculine or very feminine — can take a face from beautiful to, well, sexy.

  38. Talking about games, recently I heard that one of my seniors said that “If I don’t playing a game, even once for one day, I can’t sleep.” First, I don’t believe that but when I think back, I’m also in the same condition with him. Honestly, games can be really addictive sometimes because:

    1. Games usually come out with a good story line when they are MMORPGs or fantasy types of games!
    2. People now days like action, so if an action game is released it doesn’t matter if the story line not good enough, people will still buy it!
    3. When the game is realistic, people feel like they need to play to survive and waste all their time playing the game!
    4. We thirst action and fantasy!
    5. Games like Runescape and WoW are played widley across the globe, so when someone recommends someone to a game and they think the game is boring, a change when they level up makes their mind go crazy after it, which has to deal with a lot of pride!
    6. We thirst pride and like to boast and brag and these games give us that chance
    7. Well some of the things that are really cool in the game can’t be done in real life, so we play the game instead to just look at it over and over again
    8. We all want to do the things so we play the game over and over again to try to master the skill in real life!

So, that’s why games are really addictive.

  39. The number 13
what so special with this number??

It is believed that the fear for the number 13 stems from primitive man being unable to count past 12. Numbers beyond 12 do now have an individual and independent name but are a combination of the first 12 numbers. With 12 being the end of the line, 13 was moving into unknown territory.

In Norse mythology the 13th number led to the death of Baldur, the beloved of the gods. When the 12 gods gathered for a banquet in Valhalla, Loki gatecrashed the party, increasing the number to 13, which led to the death of Baldur. It also happens that in Tarot cards, 13 is called "Death."

    The baker's dozen

The "unlucky 13" is the reason why the thirteen loaves that bakers once supplied were never called by the number, but described as "a baker's dozen." The thirteenth loaf was regarded as a special bribe for the devil not to spoil the sale or the bread.

    The lucky number 13

But 13 is not unlucky for all. The Mayas worshipped the 13 gods of the upper world. The Aztecs climbed 13 steps to their sacred places. Buddhists paid homage to 13 Buddhas. In Jewish faith, God revealed Himself by 13 attributes of bountiful mercy (Exodus 34: 6-7). The orthodox Jewish prayer book hold the Thirteen Principles of Faith. Jewish boys celebrate their Bar Mitzvah at age 13.

The number 13 in Greek is triskaideka and the fear of the number 13 is called triskaidekaphobia.

but my favourite number is 3.

  40. Does broccoli fight cancer?
Broccoli is my go-to everyday vegetable: it’s affordable and available year-round. And the icing on the cake is that it frequently earns a top spot on “superfoods” lists. This is partially because it’s packed with an array of vitamins and minerals. And partly because it delivers a healthy dose of sulforaphane, a compound thought to thwart cancer by helping to stimulate the body’s detoxifying enzymes. EatingWell has dozens of delicious recipes for broccoli (try our Ginger Broccoli recipe below).

According to recent research in the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, raw broccoli provides significantly more of this beneficial nutrient than cooked. (Cooking locks sulforaphane in, making it unavailable to your body.) In the small study, men were given about 1 cup of broccoli, raw or cooked. Those who ate the raw broccoli absorbed sulforaphane faster and in higher amounts compared to those who ate it cooked. The findings add to growing evidence that links diets rich in cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli, kale and cauliflower, to lower rates of cancer.

Broccoli is one of my favourite vegetable. We should eat more vegetables.

  41. How to Face Criticism?

You must learn to guard yourself against unjust criticism and how to make sensible use of constructive criticism. You must always look objectively at criticism. If the criticism levelled at you is unjust, ill-founded, given with a bad intention, you should not cowardly surrender your dignity. If you know that there is no conscious guilt in you, your attitude is correct and appreciated by wise people, then you need not worry about ill-founded criticism. Your understanding of both constructive and destructive criticism is important for you to adjust your way of live to live in any society. As there is a saying, " There is no one who is not blamed in this world." (Dh.)
