  2. Assalamualaikum....

    Hi everyone!!...

Today I want share with you a story about "Three Friends".

Not long ago, three friends came to the New York city. They decided to stay in a hotel during the visit.

It so happened that their room ended up being on the 60th floor.

The policy of the hotel was that everynight after 12:00 a.m. the elevators are shut down for security reasons. The next day, the three friends rented a car and went out to explore the city. They enjoyed movies, concerts, and other things throughout the whole day. At one point, they remembered that they have to get back to the hotel before 12 a.m.

When they arrived, it was beyond 12 a.m. at night. The elevators were shut down. There was no other way to get back to their room but to take the stairs all the way to the 60th floor. All of a sudden, one friend got an idea.

He said “For the first 20 floors, I will tell jokes to keep us going. Then another one of us could say wisdom stories for the next 20 floors. Finally, we will cover the other 20 floors with sad stories.”

So, one of the friends started with the jokes. With laughs and joy, they reached the 20th floor. Now, another friend started saying stories that are full of wisdom. So, they learned a lot while reaching the 40th floor. Now, it was time for the sad stories.

So, the third friend started thus, “My first sad story is that I left the key for the room in the car.”

Now, what is the point of this story?

This story resembles our lifecycle. For the first 20 years of our life, we spend time in joking and enjoying whatever is out there. Then, after we reach 20, we go into the work force, get marriead, have kids and this is the time when we use our wisdom. Then, if we reach 40, we finally see the white hairs and begin to think that my life is coming to an end and the sadness begins.

It’s better that we start our life in the very beginning by remembering death rather than preparing for it at the end our life when very few of us have the energy to obey Allah completely. We should also remember that there is no guarantee of a life of 60 years for any of us, many have already left this world way before that age.

May Allah give us the ability to make use of our life before death and our youth before old age, Ameen.

    Wassalam....

  4. Hello everyone.....

Today, I want share with all of you about how to prepare the simplest dishes but delicious. The dishes that I means is fried banana. I believe that everyone like to eat fried banana so much.

Here, I'm very glad to share with you about the way in preparing fried banana.

First of all, we need to prepare all the ingredients that needed.

    The ingredients are :

    * 1 ripe black-skinned plantain or 4 small finger banana (make sure that the banana is sweet)

    * 1 egg

    * 1 tsp. sugar

    * 6 Tbs. flour
    water
    * a pinch of salt
    vegetable oil for deep frying

    The steps are :

Place flour in a deep mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle of the flour, and add egg, sugar and salt. Add water little by little. Whisk vigorously until batter is evenly smooth for coating and not too thin. If it is too thin, add more flour.
Peel plantain or banana and cut in half lengthwise and then cut again with 4-inch width. Dip into batter to coat generously.
Heat oil in a wok or deep fryer until moderately hot. Place coated plantain or banana in the wok or deep fryer and fry slowly until golden brown and crispy. This usually take approximately 10-15 minutes. Remove bananas from oil, drain on paper napkins and dry well.
    Serve while still warm

Have a try with this simple dishes...

    Thank you...(",)

Today I want to share with you all about Teenage Stress. Teenage Stress is a big thing. it can cause more than just a few pimples. Teenage Stress has been proven as an indirectly cause of eating disorders, depression, social/physical/emotional changes and even something as serious as suicide. Many teenagers experience stress but many do not know what causes their personal stress and many do not know the origins of their stress and how to treat it.

Stress is defined as "to subject to physical or mental pressure, tension, or strain"
Some common examples of stress are negative thoughts feelings, changes in body , problems with friends/family/relationships, divorce of parents, death of loved ones, taking too many activities at once, high expectations and family financial problems. Some of the symptoms may include headaches, sleeplessness, emotionally, moody, nervousness, crying, lack of interest, negativity, and lack of concentration.

Some suggested stress relievers is try to avoid caffeine and drugs. Studies have been shown that caffeine and drugs can make stress worse than it may already be for you. The reason is this, when you are stressed out, your blood pressure is gradually increasing, when you consume caffeine, it makes your blood pressure increase even faster. Besides that, you can go and enjoy a jog through your community, play a friendly game of sports, or let your creative side take over and create something. The most important thing is try to talk to your family and/or friends. Sometimes talking to a person you can trust can help you get your feelings out.

  6. Assalamualaikum,

I want share about our solar system. We live on the planet Earth. Our planet is one of the nine planets that revolve periodically around the Sun. The nine planets and the sun make up what we known as our solar system.

Nearest to the sun is the planets Mercury. Mercury is a tiny planets that is hardly visible to the naked eye.

Further out is Venus, sometimes called the Morning Star or the Evening Star. It is thus called because it is frequently seen in the morning or evening as a very bright object in the sky.

Next come to Earth. Earth is the only planet in the entire Solar System known to support life. Why is this so no one really known?.

The fourth planet from the Sun is the Mars. This planet is sometimes visible as a reddish object in the night sky. Viewed through powerful telescope one may see some details on the planet’s surface.

After Mars comes the giant planet Jupiter. It is the largest planet in the Solar System.

There are the a number of moons orbiting Jupiter. They can be seen through a telescope. Also the surface of Jupiter shows a variety of patterns of which a huge red spots is plainly visible. The red spot is said to be many times the size of Earth.

Between Jupiter and Mars there exist many small objects called asteroids. They are not normally visible but scientists have confirmed they exist.

Next come to the beautiful Saturn. It is quite a sight to view Saturn through a telescope and see distinctly the multicoloured rings it is so famous for.

Saturn is not as big as Jupiter but it is bigger than the other planets.
Further out we have Neptune, Uranus, Pluto.

Pluto is smallest of the planets and can hardly be seen even with a powerful telescope.
Millions of miles separate the planets from one another. Thus it is only recently that the man could visit our neighbouring planets. So far man has not set foot on any planets.
If we look at the night sky we can see literally millions of stars. So could it be that there are others solar systems too? Perhaps each star has its own solar system. We do not know. One day when we are able. We may find out.Thank You

  7. Assalamualaikum and hello to Miss Syafawati and fellow friends.

Everyone knows that smoking is bad,but millions cannot overcome the addiction. So,I want to share some tips to help someone quits smoking.First and foremost, set a quit date and quit COMPLETELY on that day.

Then,to prepare for that day,you have to:
-Identify the times you are most likely to
    smoke.

-Keep a diary to help you determine such risky times. Record each time you have a cigarette, including time of day and what you are doing.

-Make a plan about what you will do instead of smoking at those times that you are most likely to smoke.Or, take a walk when feeling stressed. Remove ashtrays and cigarettes from the car. Place pretzels or hard candies there instead. Pretend-smoke with a straw.

-Let all of your friends, family, and co-workers know of your plan to stop smoking and your quit date. Just being aware that they know can be a helpful reminder and motivator.

-Prior to your quit date, start reducing your cigarette use, including decreasing the number and strength of the cigarettes. However, DON'T do this simply to make your diary "look good!" Get rid of all of your cigarettes just prior to the quit date and clean out anything that smells like smoke, such as clothes and furniture.

-Find out about nicotine patches, gum, and sprays.

-Exercise to relieve urges to smoke.

I hope by reading these tips, smokers will stop smoking. This is for their own good and thaeir health.

  8. Cost of living cheaper in Singapore

Before I see this I think that Singapore’s cost of living is very high .But after I read it , it not really true to say that the cost really high . May be it sounds like more or less similar to the Malaysian’s living cost .

I really surprise that the example that he give . Yes, to be honest to say that I feel that the Malaysian’s living cost is increasing but the salary still not much increase .I am a student , even the food in the university is not as cheap as a student “price” . For a full time student I think that is a “heavy” afford to us if we can not get the sponsor form our family .

Even now I can not imagine that what will be happen for our future when every things become “luxurious” .That time how are we going to improve our life? I think that is a very serious issue that we will facing in future .We also well know the hot issue about the petrol price increased .I hope that the issue about the petrol price increased .I hope that the government can fulfill their promise that the price of petrol will be adjust every single period .

I believe that Malaysia is potential to become some country like Japan if everything settle is the best way .When civilian is “satisfy” what their get for sure they will continue to stay over here and giving the contribution.
After review this article it make me feel like wan to travel to Singapore but please think twice . It is still consider an extravagant because we are not working in Singapore and this article is due to someone who work in Singapore and Malaysia . So what I suggest is visit to Malaysia , we have many nice places to visit . One of the example is my hometown – Cameron Highlands .

  9. APOLLO

Today I want to share something related to the place far away from earth. Astronomy happens to be my favourite field of study since the young. Apollo 13 was one of history's most regconised disaster. A movie titled Apollo 13 was taken as well. Going into space and doing research really draws my attention.

Therefore I decided to read an article souly on the facts of Apollo 13.

What is Apollo 13? Let me share the journey with you.

The Apollo 13 Mission was planned as a lunar landing mission but was forced to turn back due to loss of service module cryogenic oxygen and consequent loss of capability to generate electrical power, to provide oxygen and to produce water.

The hardship the crew faced was truely life challenging. The Apollo 13 crew were :

James A. Lovell, Jr. Commander John L. Swigert, Jr.* Command Module Pilot
Fred W. Haise, Jr. Lunar Module Pilot

From the way it was explained in the article regarding the problem of decreas in Oxygen level and water supply along with the electrical supply truly isn't one would imagine. Being on earth and not being able to have access to water supply is so hard to survive. Try putting yourself in their shoes. "Out all alone in a spacecraft with drastic decrease in oxygen along with the rest". In space it's a vaccum area. Oxygen is not available. Then again, Houston which is the space centre in texas was the one who talk them through each step of the way to manually pilot the spacecraft back to earth. The pressure on them to bring the spacecraft back is merely to safe their lifes. But it is a great honour that they were brought back to earth safely. Knowing the struggle the crew and the people down at houston just to safe their life's is something to remember and to honour.

    Their mission however was called
    "THE SUCCESSFUL FAILURE"

There is a simple moral to this as well. Work together and do not give up will also result in something good.

    TUN DR. MAHATHIR BLOGGERS..

Okay, I've always been a follower for Tun Mahathir blog. Every time he write something, its really get the little 'nugget' inside my head to start running and most of the time I agree with what he say.

Because his words are very strong, you know. He is the kind of leader that always looking forward for the sake of the nation and the citizens(us).Eventhough he is now a pensioner, still he find way to express his ideas and never afraid to comments about what he believes is wrong with goverment's today.
I really think we are now lacking of such charismatic leadership in the goverments.

Alright, back to the main point. This time he is talking about how malaysian actually have too much holidays. Mathematically, 1/4 of our year been spent on holidays. Who did not love holidays? But please consider the fact that we are a developing country. Even U.S had less holidays than us. Too much holidays mean, people don't go to work, which results in slow productivity. It would affect our work culture.

Remember that we are a trading nation which depends on exporting goods, raw material and services, the cost of our exports is important. If the process get slow, the cost will go higher.

You guys should check it up. Its really going to open your eyes. And I love his sinister comments too.

  11. “WEDDING PLANNER”

Today I was shocked because I read the news about “WEDDING PLANNER”. It really happened in KUANTAN. A wedding planner and his friend were remanded for four days by a magistrate’s court in connection with cheating six couples out of RM65, 255.

I’m sure you must asking question about who is WEDDING PLANNER.

Yes, Wedding Planner is the person who offered wedding and reception packages at attractive prices and some of the couples only found out that they were duped just a few days before their wedding day.

So it’s advisable that any couple who had been cheated to lodge a report to the police as fast as possible.

Beware of it!!! WOMAN AND GENTLEMEN!!!

  12. Woman stabbed to death by robbers

Every times when I go through some news I am sure to notice this kind articles . It is really sad to say that our peaceful country is not safe enough . For example this article have cause a woman dead by stabbed .It is really cruel for a family that a mother have leave them .I really pity on this kind of situation and I do not know how much of tears have to come out by the family .

I do not understand why the robber must kill some one in their action? Why they just take the money that they want and just leave them? Why they do not work for their own and get the money their own . If the victims are their family what will he feel?

I hope that everyone in our country can play well their rolls but please do not create the “non-sense “ to our country our living .

  14. assalamualikum...

hi to all of you, have a nice day i hope that you are enjoy your lovely busy week with all of your friends.

did you ever have a fight with your friends? i have for a several times, but what can i conclude in here, i really need friends and i loved them so much because they will always be with me when i was far away from my family.

just now i was read a short stories about friendship "sand and stone", i will let u read it now,

A story tells that two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE."

They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one, who had been slapped, got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After the friend recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone: "TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE."

The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, why?"

The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."

ps: LEARN TO WRITE YOUR HURTS IN THE SAND, AND TO CARVE YOUR BENEFITS IN STONE ( YOU WILL NEED A VERY GOOD PENS )

  16. assalamualaikum..
from this blog IO want to share something about the article which I had seen.

    10 essential health tips

    1. Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more.Cha, Cha, Cha…

    2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise. Thought for the day: Lean, mean, fat-burning machine…. Then be one!

    3. Quit Smoking
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens.Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers. Thought for the day: Give up just one cigarette…. the next one.(plus….girls don’t like boys who smokes..hehehehe)

    4. Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms.Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.
(my way of reducing stress…SHOPPING!!!!..hihihihi..it helps, seriously….when u’re in no mood, step on the wheel and buy whatever u like-mind the price of course...hehe..but my parents will get stressed next when I’m out of money…hehehe)

    5. Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares.Thought for the day: 'Smoke gets in your eyes'…and your mouth, and your nose and your lungs as do pollutants….hum the tune daily.(Avoid smoking boys, girls…hehehe..)

    6. Wear Your Seat Belt
Statistics show that seat belts add to longevity and help alleviate potential injuries in car crashes. Thought for the day: Buckle down and buckle up.

    7. Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't? Thought for the day: Floss and be your body's boss.(maybe flossing makes you feel more confident to talk, laugh…who knows…there’s something between your teeth while talking to the cute guy you adore, and he felt disgusted and leave you and you’ll get stressed…okay…that makes sense…a little..right??hehe)

    8. Avoid Excessive Drinking
While recent studies show a glass of wine or one drink a day (two for men) can help protect against heart disease, more than that can cause other health problems such as liver and kidney disease and cancer. Thought for the day: A jug of wine should last a long time.

    9. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook
There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life. Thought for the day: You can't be unhappy when you're smiling or singing.

    10. Choose Your Parents Well
The link between genetics and health is a powerful one. But just because one or both of your parents died young in ill health doesn't mean you cannot counteract the genetic pool handed you. Thought for the day: Follow these basic tips for healthy living and you can better control your own destiny.(nope…no idea what does this has to do with stress..choosing parents of course is not an option..but the way we live our life together with them might be one)

we only grow once,1 chance to live,one-shot...and no turning back..everyone is envy of the youth...so live your life to the fullest!!

  17. Hi miss,
Yesterday,I read newspaper by online where Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) wants the ethnic races of Sabah to be known as Bumiputera Sabah and not as "other races" (dan lain lain) in Federal Government affairs and forms. He said the categories of races in most forms listed major races as the Malays, Chinese, Indians and other races. "As such, the ethnic groups of Sabah and Sarawak fall under the 'other races' category. It is high time that Bumiputeras in Sabah as well as in Sarawak are recognised as clusters of major races in Malaysia. As a sarawakian I agree with him because we want to be known as one parts of Malaysian. Usually people always called us 'orang asli'..that's makes me getting sad sometimes. OA is OA,it is their race, and we're not them..we cannot deserve that. As that Datuk said, there are more than 20 races in Sabah and Sarawak...We want to be known as Bumiputera Sabah/Sarawak as well...Hopefuly one day, this fact can be change as we want to...Thank You..

  18. Assalamualikum and greetings to all..
I just want to share about my horoskop(Taurus)) discussed about me..
not whole the statement in my horoskop is true happen to me,
but certain sentences in this statement related to me..
seriously i didn't believe it at all,
just for fun and something knowledge..
here,i'll show you what the topic was discussed in my horoskop..
'what the type of killer are you'
    and tre result is..
    You are an assassin.
That means you are a professional and do your job without mixing any emotions in it.
In your life you have probably been hurt many times and have gotten some mental scars.
This results in you being distant from people. Though many think that you are evil, you are not.
What you really are is a person, trying to forget your pain and past.
You are the person who never seems to care and that is why being an assassin fits you good.
At least , that's what people think. Even if you don't care that much for your victims, you still have the ability to care and to generally feel.
It is not lost, just a little forgotten.
In crowds you tend to not get to noticed, and dress in black or other discrete colours. You don't being in the spotlight and wish people would just leave you alone. But once you do get close to someone you have a hard time letting go and get real down if you loose him/her.
    that all..
    thank you!

  19. Hello everyone...

How about your sleep every night? Is it enough, isn’t it? Everyone’s individual sleep needs vary. In general, most healthy adults are built for 16 hours of wakefulness and need an average of eight hours of sleep a night. However, some individuals are able to function without sleepiness or drowsiness after as little as six hours of sleep. Others can't perform at their peak unless they've slept ten hours. And, contrary to common myth, the need for sleep doesn't decline with age but the ability to sleep for six to eight hours at one time may be reduced.

Sleep is essential for a person’s health and wellbeing, according to the National Sleep Foundation (NSF). Yet millions of people do not get enough sleep and many suffer from lack of sleep. For example, surveys conducted by the NSF (1999-2004) reveal that at least 40 million Americans suffer from over 70 different sleep disorders and 60 percent of adults report having sleep problems a few nights a week or more. Most of those with these problems go undiagnosed and untreated. In addition, more than 40 percent of adults experience daytime sleepiness severe enough to interfere with their daily activities at least a few days each month - with 20 percent reporting problem sleepiness a few days a week or more. Furthermore, 69 percent of children experience one or more sleep problems a few nights or more during a week.

Psychologists and other scientists who study the causes of sleep disorders have shown that such problems can directly or indirectly be tied to abnormalities in the following systems:
    Physiological systems
    • Brain and nervous system
    • Cardiovascular system
    • Metabolic functions
    • Immune system

Furthermore, unhealthy conditions, disorders and diseases can also cause sleep problems, including:

    • Pathological sleepiness, insomnia and accidents
    • Hypertension and elevated cardiovascular risks (MI, stroke)
    • Emotional disorders (depression, bipolar disorder)
    • Obesity; metabolic syndrome and diabetes
    • Alcohol and drug abuse

Stress is the number one cause of short-term sleeping difficulties, according to sleep experts. Common triggers include school- or job-related pressures, a family or marriage problem and a serious illness or death in the family. Usually the sleep problem disappears when the stressful situation passes. However, if short-term sleep problems such as insomnia aren't managed properly from the beginning, they can persist long after the original stress has passed.

Drinking alcohol or beverages containing caffeine in the afternoon or evening, exercising close to bedtime, following an irregular morning and nighttime schedule, and working or doing other mentally intense activities right before or after getting into bed can disrupt sleep.
If you are among the 20 percent of employees in the United States who are shift workers, sleep may be particularly elusive. Shift work forces you to try to sleep when activities around you - and your own "biological rhythms" - signal you to be awake. One study shows that shift workers are two to five times more likely than employees with regular, daytime hours to fall asleep on the job.

Traveling also disrupts sleep, especially jet lag and traveling across several time zones. This can upset your biological or “circadian” rhythms.

Environmental factors such as a room that's too hot or cold, too noisy or too brightly lit can be a barrier to sound sleep. And interruptions from children or other family members can also disrupt sleep. Other influences to pay attention to are the comfort and size of your bed and the habits of your sleep partner. If you have to lie beside someone who has different sleep preferences, snores, can't fall or stay asleep, or has other sleep difficulties, it often becomes your problem too!

Having a 24/7 lifestyle can also interrupt regular sleep patterns: the global economy that includes round the clock industries working to beat the competition; widespread use of nonstop automated systems to communicate and an increase in shift work makes for sleeping at regular times difficult.

According to leading sleep researchers, there are techniques to combat common sleep problems:
    • Keep a regular sleep and wake schedule
    • Don’t drink or eat caffeine four to six hours before bed and minimize daytime use
    • Don’t smoke, especially near bedtime or if you awake in the night
    • Avoid alcohol and heavy meals before sleep
    • Get regular exercise
    • Minimize noise, light and excessive hot and cold temperatures where you sleep
    • Develop a regular bed time and go to bed at the same time each night
    • Try and wake up without an alarm clock
    • Attempt to go to bed earlier every night for certain period; this will ensure that you’re getting enough sleep.

That’s what I have read for tonight. Thank you.

  20. Assalamualaikum and hello to miss Syafawati and friends. Today I want to share the history of Petronas Twin Tower as known as KLCC.
Designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli, the Petronas Towers were completed in 1998 and became the tallest buildings in the world on the date of completion. They were built on the site of Kuala Lumpur's race track. Because of the depth of the bedrock, the buildings were built on the world's deepest foundations. The 120-meter foundations were built by Bachy Soletanche, and required massive amounts of concrete.
The 88-floor towers are constructed largely of reinforced concrete, with a steel and glass facade designed to resemble motifs found in Islamic art, a reflection of Malaysia's Muslim religion. Another Islamic influence on the design is that the cross-section of the towers is based on a Rub el Hizb (albeit with circular sectors added to meet office space requirements).
Due to a lack of steel and the huge cost of importing steel, the towers were constructed on a cheaper radical design of super high-strength reinforced concrete. High-strength concrete is a material familiar to Asian contractors and twice as effective as steel in sway reduction; however, it makes the building twice as heavy on its foundation than a comparable steel building. Supported by 23-by-23 meter concrete cores and an outer ring of widely-spaced super columns, the towers use a sophisticated structural system that accommodates its slender profile and provides from 1300 to 2000 square metres of column-free office space per floor.Below the twin towers is Suria KLCC, a shopping mall, and Dewan Filharmonik Petronas, the home of the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra.
Other buildings have used spires to increase their height but have always been taller overall to the pinnacle when trying to claim the title. In the aftermath of the controversy, the rules governing official titles were partially overhauled, and a number of buildings re-classified structural antenna as architectural details to boost their height rating (even though nothing was actually done to the building).
KLCC is the one the famous building in this world and surely for Malaysian too. So as the citizen, we must be proud of it. I hope, this will give some input and knowledge to friends about KLCC.
    thank you

I would like to share with you about health information. Nowadays, many people want to look a beautiful especially women. They tried every pill that sell at market without have permission from government, diet and many step that they use to become beautiful. Actually, if you want to be beautiful, many tips and safe step you can follow. If not, you can get a sick. Sometimes, have a woman want to be a beautiful and thin even she is already thin. They not satisfied with their body and do a wrong diet again and make the body so thin. That is call anorexia. So, I want to talk about symptoms of anorexia and my advice to the diets entire, do a safe diet if you want to be beautiful from you get any danger disease.
Possibly the most bewildering symptom of eating disorders is the distorted body image (body dysmorphia). Although people typically associate distorted body image with severe anorexia, one study indicated that distortion may be more prevalent in people with bulimia. People with bulimia were more likely than those with anorexia to overestimate their size. There was also a greater disparity between what they wanted to look like and what they believed they looked like.
SYMPTOMS SPECIFIC TO BULIMIA WITHOUT ANOREXIA
People with bulimia nearly always practice it in secret, and, although they may be underweight, they are not always anorexic. Symptoms or signs of bulimia may, therefore, be very subtle and go unnoticed. They may include:
    • Evidence of discarded packaging for laxatives, diet pills, emetics (drugs that induce vomiting), or diuretics (medications that reduce fluids)
    • Regularly going to the bathroom right after meals
    • Suddenly eating large amounts of food or buying large quantities that disappear right away
    • Compulsive exercising
    • Broken blood vessels in the eyes (from the strain of vomiting)
    • Pouch-like appearance to the corners of the mouth due to swollen salivary glands (occurs within days of vomiting in about 8% of people with bulimia)
    • Dry mouth
    • Tooth cavities, diseased gums, and irreversible enamel erosion from excessive acid
    • Rashes and pimples
    • Small cuts and calluses across the tops of finger joints due to self-induced vomiting
    SYMPTOMS SPECIFIC TO ANOREXIA
Weight loss. The primary symptom of anorexia is major weight loss from excessive and continuous dieting, which may either be restrictive dieting or binge-eating and purging.
Other symptoms of anorexia may include:
    • Infrequent or absent menstrual periods
    • Compulsive exercising coupled with excessive thinness
    • Refusal to eat in front of others
    • Ritualistic eating, including cutting food into small pieces
    • Hypersensitivity to cold -- some women wear several layers of clothing to both keep warm and hide their thinness
    • Yellowish skin, especially on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet -- from eating too many vitamin A-rich vegetables such as carrots
    • Dry skin covered with fine hair
    • Thin scalp hair
    • Cold or swollen feet and hands
    • Stomach problems, including bloating after eating
    • Confused or slowed thinking
    • Poor memory or judgment

  22. Hello everyone.

.::How Eating Chocolate Can Help Improve Your Maths::.
Mental arithmetic became easier after volunteers had been given large amounts of compounds found in chocolate, called flavanols, in a hot cocoa drink.

They were also less likely to feel tired or mentally drained, the findings, presented at the British Psychological Society annual conference in Brighton show.

Prof David Kennedy, director of the brain, performance and nutrition research centre at Northumbria University, and a co-author of the study, said that chocolate could be beneficial for mentally challenging tasks.

The findings suggest students who binge on chocolate when revising for exams may gain a real benefit from doing so.

"For things that are difficult to do, mentally demanding things that maybe crop up in your work it could help," Prof Kennedy said.

The flavanols, part of a group of chemicals called polyphenols, work by increasing the flow of blood into the brain.

For the study 30 volunteers were asked to count backwards in groups of three from a random number between 800 and 999 generated by a computer.

The findings show that they could do the calculations more quickly and more accurately after they had been given the drink.

However, the same was not true when the group was asked to count backwards in groups of seven, which the researchers described as a more complex task, requiring a slightly different part of the brain.

The findings also show that the volunteers did not get as tired doing the calculations if they had been given the cocoa drink, despite being asked to do them over and over for an hour.

The researchers gave the volunteers a total of 500mg of flavanol.

Although the amount was too great to be found naturally in the diet, researchers said that people should ensure that they have lots of flavanols, also found in fruit and vegetables, on a regular basis.

Emma Wightman, one of the study's lead researchers, said: "You can get bars of chocolate that have 100mg of flavanol, and we are also going to look at the effect of lower doses of flavanol on the brain."

Dark chocolate contains higher quantaties of the chemical than plain or milk chocolate.

Prof Kennedy added: "The amount that you are giving is more than in the diet but there is quite a lot of evidence that general amounts are protective against declining function and that kind of thing.

"The more fruit and vegetables and things that are high in polyphenols the better that is for your brain in the long run."

  24. Making chocolate from the bean isn't easy. Chocolate companies invest millions of dollars into tools and machinery to turn bitter cacao beans into delicious chocolate bars. But with many hours, possibly days, of hard work and dedication to detail, along with some equipment of your own, you can turn your kitchen into a miniature chocolate factory. By following these instructions and techniques, you'll be able to make your very own brand of chocolate.
Roast the cocoa beans. The process is similar to roasting coffee beans, except with gentler requirements: 5-35 minutes at temperatures between 120-160 degrees C (250-325 F). You must generally expose the beans to an initial high temperature, lower the temperature gradually, and stop roasting when the beans start to crack (but not burn). The first image shows the cocoa beans before roasting, and the second image shows the after-result. You can accomplish this in your oven or by using a store-bought roaster.
Crack and winnow the beans. After roasting, the beans must be cracked into nibs and winnowed, whereby the husks (chaff) are removed.
Grind the nibs into a cocoa liqueur. You will need equipment strong enough to liquefy the nibs and separate the remaining husks. General food processors, Vita-Mix, coffee grinders (burr and blade), meat grinders (manual and electric) mortar and pestles, and most juicers will not work. You may need to experiment to find equipment that gets the job done. Many home chocolatiers find success with a "Champion Juicer" (see Citations below). Feed the nibs into the juicer one handful at a time, being sure to push them in gently (not forcefully) or else the motor may overheat. Cocoa liqueur will come through the screen and a mixture of husks and liqueur will find its way through the spout. Feed this mixture through the juicer again until only the husk comes through the spout.
Conch and refine the chocolate. By definition, conching affects the characteristic taste, smell and texture of the chocolate, while refining reduces the size of the cocoa solids and sugar crystals. Both processes can be applied at the same time with a powerful wet grinder. How you conch and refine the chocolate will depend on what equipment you use, but here are guidelines for the Santha wet grinder:
    • Melt the chocolate and the cocoa butter in the oven to about 120 F.
    • Combine with non-fat dry milk powder, sugar, lecithin and a vanilla pod (split and soaked in the cocoa butter 1 hour; this is an optional flavoring).
    • Pour the chocolate mixture in the grinder, periodically pointing a hair dryer at it for 2-3 minutes to keep the chocolate melted during the first hour (until the friction created by grinding keeps the chocolate liquid without additional heat being needed).
    • Continue refining for at least 10 hours and no more than 36 hours, until the chocolate tastes smooth and balanced, but be sure not to over-refine (or it will get gummy).
    • To take a break from refining (e.g. at night while you're sleeping, see Warnings), turn off the grinder, put the covered bowl into an oven that's preheated to 150 F but turned off, and leave it there overnight. It shouldn't solidify but if it does, take the cover off and turn the oven on about 150-175 until the chocolate melts (be careful not to let the bowl itself melt, though).

Temper the chocolate. This is likely the most difficult part of the process, but it ensures that the chocolate will be shiny and have a "snap" to it, rather than being matte and soft enough to melt in your hands. However, the great thing about tempering is you can do it as many times as you like and the chocolate won't be ruined. Or, you can purchase a tempering machine on the Internet for $300-400 (US). The most important thing is that you do not let any moisture in the chocolate, or it will be ruined.
Mold the chocolate while it is still at about 90 degrees. Pour the chocolate into the molds, careful not to spill. Some people find it effective to use a large syringe to place chocolate in the mold, but it is all about personal preference. When all of the chocolate has been added to the molds, you may either freeze, refrigerate, or let them harden at room temperature. Again, it's all about personal preference, and there is no right way to do it.
Remove the chocolate from the molds when the chocolate is hardened. The molded chocolate should have a glossy appearance and should snap cleanly in two under pressure. If you are unsatisfied with your outcome, you may re-temper the chocolate as long as the chocolate remains dry and you haven't burned it.
    Eat and Enjoy!

Obesity??What a nightmare for those who are in this situation. Obesity is a condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to an extent that health may be negatively affected. Obesity is commonly defined as a body mass index (BMI) of 30 kg/m2 or higher. This definition distinguishes obesity from being pre-obese or overweight, which is classified as a BMI of 25 kg/m2 but less than 30 kg/m2.

Excessive body weight is associated with many diseases, particularly cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus type 2, obstructive sleep apnea, certain types of cancer, and osteoarthritis. As a result, obesity has been found to reduce life expectancy. A combination of excessive caloric intake, lack of physical activity, and genetic susceptibility is thought to explain most cases of obesity, with a limited number of cases due solely to genetics, medical reasons, or psychiatric illness.

The primary treatment for obesity is dieting and physical exercise. If this fails, anti-obesity drugs such as orlistat (Xenical) and sibutramine (Meridia) and (in severe cases) bariatric surgery may be attempted.

As obesity is one of the leading preventable causes of death worldwide and with rates of adult and childhood obesity increasing, authorities view it as one of the most serious public health problems of the 21st century. Obesity is often stigmatized in the modern Western world. However, it has been perceived as a symbol of wealth and fertility at other times in history and still is in many parts of Africa.

Body mass index or BMI is a simple and widely used method for estimating body fat mass. BMI was developed in the 19th century by the Belgian statistician and anthropometrist Adolphe Quetelet. BMI is an accurate reflection of body fat percentage in the majority of the adult population. It however is less accurate in people such as body builders and pregnant women.

BMI is calculated by dividing the subject's mass by the square of his or her height, typically expressed either in metric or US "Customary" units:

    Metric: BMI = kilograms / meters2

    BMI Classification
    < 18.5 underweight
    18.5–24.9 normal weight
    25.0–29.9 overweight
    30.0–34.9 class I obesity
    35.0–39.9 class II obesity
    > 40.0 class III obesity

So, what are waiting for again? Let's begin with the healthy life style now. Get your ideal BMI!

  26. Hello everyone...

Today, I would like to share with you about volcano. For the first time, scientists have been able to see and trace lightning inside a plume of ash spewing from an actively erupting volcano.

When Alaska's Mount Redoubt volcano began rumbling back to life in January, a team of researchers scrambled to set up a system called a Lightning Mapping Array that would be able to peer through the dust and gas of any eruption that occurred to the lightning storm happening within. Lightning is known to flash in the tumultuous clouds belched out during volcanic eruptions. Lightning mapping arrays are increasingly being used by meteorologists to issue weather warnings, but have only been deployed at volcanoes twice before.

Thousands of individual segments of a single lightning stroke can be mapped with these arrays and later analyzed to reveal how lightning initiates and spreads through a thunderstorm, or in a volcanic plume. After setting up the arrays, researchers waited nearly two months for Redoubt's first eruption, but the wait was worth it.

The eruptions that continued to occur on March 22 and 23 provided plenty of data, and the arrays returned dramatic information about the electricity created within volcanic plumes, and the resulting lightning. As of today, Redoubt has erupted several times since its initial eruption on March 22.

A recent study in the journal Nature found that volcanic plumes spin like tornados thunderstorms, a finding which helps to explain the lightning storms, as well as the waterspouts and dust devils produced by some volcanic plumes. The New Mexico Tech researchers plan to compare the Redoubt data with observations taken from Chaiten Volcano in Chile last year. The project was funded by the National Science Foundation.

Redoubt hasn't finished making noise yet; after quieting down for a few days, Redoubt exploded again, with the last major eruption occurring on March 28. Scientists at the Alaska Volcano Observatory expect the eruptions will continue periodically for weeks to months.

Building the Bond in your Relationship
A bond (relationship wise) is when two people have a connection. Being attracted to each other and sharing common values and interests brought the two of you together as a couple, but the bond has not been set completely. Besides the fact that you have love and care between you, you also need to see whether or not the two of you are friends. Is it possible to be friends? Absolutely! As a matter of fact, it is a must if the two of you are going to build a lasting bond.
Having a strong longing and passion for another is important, but is not enough fuel to keep the bond running. With friendship, your relationship will remain having that strength under all kinds of circumstances. There will be times, for example, when you as a couple are not living in your most passionate times. This is natural and does not mean there is no longer love or desire. As your relationship deepens, you will go through many experiences and stages that may put your romance and frequent hot sex aside for a while. This is where friendship comes in and why it is so important. You should be there for each other and understand your partner’s situations and concerns. Just take a look at your friends. See what makes your friendship with them so great. You then need to see if your partner has those same similarities or exact (sticking up for you when you need the back up for instance) qualities. Another point to keep in mind is keeping yourself aware of what behavior you would not except from a friend. You should definitely not accept those behaviors from your mate (like standing you up all the time) either.
It is not easy to put our friends and lovers in the same comparison because we are in love with our partners, and therefore will be more patient with them than we would with our friends. You can easily blind yourself due to the love you feel for that person and not even realize when he or she is not being a good friend and partner to you. How can you tell? A true friendship is basically the same as the true qualities that define real love. The difference is, we are in love and have a deep desire for our mates, with commitment and a goal of building a future, and perhaps even getting married and making a family together. The list below will help you see if your lover is a friend to you as well.
You can talk to and confide in each other about anything. Your partner is there for you when you need to talk to someone. Being able to always rely on each other when one is counted on having a permanent shoulder to cry on when we need it. Having many things in common accepting one another for who we are listening to us and considering our opinions important
Do not feel guilty for having higher expectations from your lover either. People often feel like they should be more lenient and understanding when it comes to their lovers. Even though it is important to keep an understanding attitude (to avoid misunderstandings and arguments), you should never let things always slide or make up excuses for your partners wrong doings. You should expect better and not except such behavior. You deserve better. After all, you invest most of your emotions and time into your partner, so always remember that you are entitled to receive the same.

LifeOnEarth Today''s world is filled with competitions. All the countries are developing in such fast paces that our Life has to move in a speed along with them. This makes an individual life very tense as each one wants to show his best. Some people may shine out successfully within a short time. Of course this is all due to hard work. However there are cases in which people fail all through their career no matter how much efforts they put in. This makes them feel low and unwanted. Such a person thinks that life is playing an unfair game with him. So, sometime opportunities should be given to the less fortunate people also because they also deserve a chance to stand up in their lives. Achieving a goal is never at all easy. So, one should never sit back but try to work harder to become successful. After achieving a goal in life, the problem begins when an individual will starts thinking of settling down. Marriage and looking after the family will be the major concerned. One working parent trying to support the family is never easy, and from time to time the income may not be sufficient. If both the partners set out to work then the problem regarding to the time may start again. As a result children are the main sufferers here. They are born on this Earth to be loved and have the necessary care, but the busy life had neglected their needs. Although all of us realized this actually very little can be done for lessening this kind of situations. A child needs all the attention in the world. Life on earth is tough and hard work is very much required in each field. Hereby under God''s guidance and protection we should not give up easily.thank you

A recent program on Animal planet brought aromatherapy to the fore once again. In this program, the producers listed out the top 10 animals with the most vile scent. I never even had a clue that there were so many of them in the first place that smelled so bad. But they would have given any aromatherapy practitioner a run for his or her money. The skunk topped the list of course, but then, what do you expect! Anyways, to come back to aromatherapy, bad smells are a part and parcel of the art too! Just as the concept of yin and yang equates balance in nature, both good and bad scents need to be studied in order to determine the one that has the most balanced impact on an individual. And aromatherapy does just this.
Today, aromatherapy has become the life blood of the stressed out and battered population. While the material comforts in all our lives have increased, so have the stress and worries associated with maintaining a balanced lifestyle. And people just don’t have the time (and in some cases, the inclination) to indulge in the old fashioned methods of relaxation. So the quick fix solution is – you guessed it right – aromatherapy.

  31. Greetings again!

Well I seem to be the last person who posted the comments, I think.

Hurm...recently, my grandfather has been hospitalised due to the high sugar intake in his daily meals. I can see his suffer and feel really bad for him.
Then, I've read an article that was written to give us some information regarding chocolate.
Actually, before I read this article, I once read an article about the goodness of chocolate. The truth is, that article was written by a company who ants to sell their chocolate's product but I think that theirs is not some ordinary chocolate.
May be it is actually good for health, but who knows?

This another article I've read is not from those chocolate company but from one of the blogger's blog.
It says that, chocolate contains tryptophan, a brain chemical which is used to produce serotonin. Serotonin is a neurotransmitter which has been proven to have antidepressant qualities. Serotonin also helps to produce feelings of well being, and it is well known that this brain chemical helps to elevate and regulate mood. This means that chocolate can benefit you mentally as well as physically.
Other substances in chocolate, such as theobromine and phenylethylamine, are known to have a stimulant effect. Caffeine, however is not found in large amounts. Contrary to popular belief, there is only a small amount of caffeine in chocolate. In fact a cup of decaffeinated coffee contains more caffeine than the average serving of chocolate.
Research has also shown that candy lovers live nearly a year longer than their candy avoiding peers, and a Harvard study has found that men who eat chocolate live longer than those who abstain from this sweet treat.
It is important to note that dark chocolate is thought to have far more health benefits than milk chocolate and other forms of chocolate. That is because dark chocolate contains a higher concentration of cocoa to sugar, and since the cocoa contains so many good nutrients there are more health benefits per ounce than with other kinds of chocolate.
But, we must bear in mind, no matter how good the chocolate is, it is still contains a lot of sugar in it. Eating a lot of chocolate may end up on the hospital bed.
Moreover, a lot of sugar intake may leads to diabetes. So, remember, eat in appropriate amount and keep our lifestyle healthy to avoid any illness.
We are still young and also we have a lot of things to do, so, eat well!
