(need to register before viewing the e-book)

I just read through an e-book entitle "Place Called Zero". It is based on a true story. I learn valuable lesson here. One of it is; in the context of refining your reality, if there is one thing that is more important than discovering who you are, it is understanding who you want to become. So before you get emotionally close to any human being right now, I suggest you to figure out the answer to both the questions first. If you don't, you will lives meaningless with an unsatisfied lives. In the other words, you will know what to do once you have the answer. At first, I thought I have found the answer, but after sometimes, my thought changes and doubt that is it what I truly want. Maybe I haven't found the answer yet. However, I will never give up believing myself and take the journey so I hope someday, sometime, somewhere, I will be able to find it deep in my thought, "my purpose of life".

    Sky
Have you ever been gone out for a stroll under a shinny day??? Actually, it’s quite nice to have a walk under a bright sky as you can enjoyed the sunlight that fall on you…. It has been quite a long time for me not go out just for a simply walk….

I still remember in past, I like to hanging out with friends and siblings under a shinny day…. Although it was quite hot at most of the time, but we were so enjoyable… As the moment we lift our head and saw the sky, we can see different shaped of cloud… It was very beautiful, white color with blue sky as background….. We can just simply say what the clouds look like as we want. It all depend of your own imagination…At that time, ours life was so carefree and do not have worry about any problems…. Now, we all have grown up. We all lead with different kinds of life… And we have our own troubles to worry about….

Lastly, I want to ask you a question… Before this, did you take a careful look onto this beautiful sky or not??? If not, now just lift your head and look at it. You will found that it is peaceful to look at it….. When you face any problems that cannot solve it, just take a look onto the sky. You will forget it at that moment… After that, you will eventually found a solution for your troubles….

    Appearance or Inner Beauty
I had been asked by a friend with this question before……. She asked me, “which one is more important to a person, appearance or inner beauty? ”

As for me, I think that the inner beauty of a person is more important. This is because only the inner characteristics of a person will remain eternity. Appearance is just only skins that cover our body…… Besides that, the appearance of a person can be easily change by just undergoes a plastic surgery as long as you can afford the expanses. After that, you will become the prettiest one in just a minute!!! Other than this, a person will grow older as time pass through, so it will be meaningless to done this…..It is because this is the nature of one’s life, you can never reverse it to the other way round….

On the other hand, the inner beauty is the concept for one’s how they are going to live on… It can be included with many things such as confidence, manner and so on.. As An example, the confidence of a person was built based on his/her own personality or just simply divided into introvert and extrovert person…. As you can see the people around us, it’s normal to see that an extrovert person has confidence to do something… It is due to they are brave to try something even thought they already know the outcome, which is failure. But they are willing to try until a miracle happen. Actually, the miracle fall on a person who persist in doing something and they will not easily give up until the last seconds…. Thus, the confidence was built inside their mind indirectly….. I hoped all of you will hold this concept in the future….

    Education Changed Destiny ???
In the ancient China, most of the citizen had been held this concept as their target of life. They always believed that education is the only way to change their destiny by bringing them out from poverty. Nowadays, mostly people still hold on still hold on this principle firmly in their daily life.
As we known, education was not only can change the destiny of one’s life, but also can change the one’s society status. As we known, we live in a complex community with all kinds of person. Thus, from education, we learn how to communicate with each others effectively and got the experience to living with each other….. For an instance, we can straightly see how the education has changed their life from their past experiences. When we were small, we were sent to kindergarten by our parents. At there, besides learning knowledge, we also learnt how to socialize with our friends. On the other hands, home education was equally important…. This is due to we spent the most time in our home. Thus, we were easily influence by the people around us. From the education we received since young, we know how to respect each others, be filial to elderly and a lot a lot……. Furthermore, the education was shaped our personalities and characteristics in an indirectly and informal way.

    Choices
I read an article from a magazine. It’s discussed about the choices that we had make in ours life. It’s saying that, "everything happened around us will eventually brought something to us, whether it’s benefits or disadvantages. Thus, we must learn how to make the right choice under any circumferences.” In my point of view, sometimes we need to give out some things that we had already persisted for a long time. I felt that this kind of sacrifices was necessary in a critical moment. It’s seemed like we were forced to do it and had lost something…. But if we think it in another way, you will found that actually we had gained something that was important to ours life, which is the experience in making choices for our own. In past, I’m sure most of you haven’t making your own choice. This is due to our parents were too overprotective toward us, until we don’t know how to make our own decision for ourselves. Although we known that we had to put a lot of effort in order to get what we want, but only know how to put effort into something was useless. It’s because we can’t make sure ours labors of hardworking will go to where…..
Therefore, we must brave in choosing the right path for our own. Don’t just kept waiting for others to make decision for you, it’s only waste your precious time!!!!

Today I have read about the FRUITS of Spirit. It consists of nine different characters which are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control. I was wondering why it is call FRUITS of Spirit? I think that in ancient time, they will have a big feast and rejoice when they have many yield (fruits) during the harvest time. The process of developing these characters is analogous to the process of planting a tree and the fruit gained is analogous to the character we built. The ‘fruits’ that we develop in us will also bring benefits to us. After meditating about these FRUITS I really understand that we must build all this characters in us and it is an essential for us to relate well with people every day and also live a life to fullest with these good spirits

I had read a article that is very attracting. It is about a story of a handicapped dog whose name "Faith. This dog was born on Christmas Eve in the year 2002. He was born with 3 legs - 2 healthy hind legs and 1 abnormal front leg which need to be amputated. He of course could not walk when he was born.Even his mother did not want him.
His first owner also did not think that he can survive. Therefore, he was thinking of 'putting him to sleep'.By this time, his present owner, Jude Stringfellow, met him and wanted to take care of him. She is determined to teach and train this dog to walk by himself. Therefore she named him 'Faith'.In the beginning, she put Faith on a surfing board to let him feel the movements.Later she used peanut butter on
a spoon as a lure and reward for him to stand up and jump around.Even the other dog at home also helped to encourage him to walk. Amazingly, only after 6 months, like a miracle, Faith learned to balance on his 2 hind legs and jumped to move forward. After further training in the snow, he now can walk like a human being.Faith loves to walk around now.No matter where he goes, he just attracts all the people around him.He is now becoming famous on the international scene. He has appeared on various newspapers and TV shows.
There is even one book entitled 'With a little faith' being published about him. He was even considered to appear in one of Harry Potter movies. His present owner Jude Stringfellew has given up her teaching post and plans to take him around the world to prea ch that even without a perfect body, one can have a perfect soul'. This story teaches us that don't give up even you are not perfect. We must try to erase our weakness by working hard on it.No one is a failure since he or she being born.We need time to shape ourselves.Even an dog doesn't give up his life, then what the reason for us to give up early in our life.It must be shame for that.So don't give up hope, miracle will always at your side.Besides,in life there are always undesirable things.Perhaps one will feel better if one changes the point of view from another direction. We must always be thankful for what we have the priviledge to possess.I hope this message will bring fresh new ways of thinking to everyone and that everyone can appreciate and be thankful for each beautiful day that follows.Faith is the continual demonstration of the Strength of Life!!

I read a news about a branded bread company that do not play their part well in food processing and against the ethics of bread making process. This news had been appeared in the newspapers.First of all the workers didn't wear gloves when dealling with the flour. This is the most basic rule in food processing.Secondly, the processing machines are all in dirty state and even go moldy. It really digusting to see and feel nausea that we've been eating it.In addition, they just leave it like that without cleaning it.Even worst that they leave the burnt flour in the somewhere then ignore it.It is really irresponsible of it.Besides, the clealiness around the company is terrible and beyond the standard.Furthermore, the machines are also already rust but they do not replace it and continue to use it.We really need to boicot the company until they change their way of operation. We must use our right to against this for happenning and our health must come priority.

    how colour can help...
i always look at my closet and just like i want to wear this colour today and tomorrow another and so on...i think im a mood dresser...actually, mood dressers are people who are in-tune with their emotions and dress accordingly...and i have to say im like that although sometimes i just pick something that easy to iron...hehe...
the point here is that colour sometimes reflect your mood and it also can give you a certain strength that sometimes you would never realize...so here are some informations about colours and how it can help you make your day..

    Black

Black reflects authority and is often worn in formal or business situations .Wearing black will allow you to keep a low-profile in social settings if that is your intention.Don't wear black if you want to stand out amidst a crowd. It is also a colour associated with death and mourning. It is also considered “slimming”. Black can give you confidence but can be quite harsh on the complexion of many people. Charcoal or medium Grey can still be formal but more flattering to wear.

    White

White represents cleansing and new beginnings. It is also the colour of purity and innocence which is why it became a traditional colour for brides in Victorian times. White is chosen for new born babies and angels are often depicted in white to reflect their innocence and goodness. White is a colour we all wear at one time or another, but for many adults, wearing white from head to foot is not always the best look. It is a great summer colour and can be used to mix with other colours to “lighten” the overall appearance .Wearing white will help reduce any nagging feelings of disappointment or drudge.

    Brown

Brown is an earthy colour and is associated with friendliness and comfort. Some people find brown “boring” but there are many different shades of brown to choose from and once you find the right brown, you will find it a comfortable and useful part of your wardrobe. By wearing brown, you will appear more relaxed and approachable.

    Red

Red is an energetic and powerful colour. Visualizing the color red can help ground your energies so anyone who has "flighty" tendencies will benefit from wearing red to serve as a reminder to ground themselves throughout the day.Red can give confidence to the wearer, making them feel in control. It is an exciting colour too and often worn by vivacious or outgoing people. There are many different shades of red , there is one for everybody. Wear red whenever you feel a need to portray confidence or would like to boost your self esteem. However, be aware that wearing too much red can make a person come off a little too intimidating to others who may lack self confidence in themselves.

    Yellow

Yellow is a bright and sunny colour and can make us feel alive and invigorated. It carries the same healing qualities associated with the sun. It offers warmth, optimism, and light . It is also a colour that can be difficult to wear, so finding the best shade for you is important. For certain, yellow is a perky color! Wear yellow when you feel glad to be alive and its perfect color to wear whenever your spirits needs an uplift. Wearing yellow out into the world makes an affirmation statement.

    Purple

Purple is seldom worn as a neutral color. The color purple, especially shades of violet, will definitely make a statement. Wearing purple shows others that you want to be noticed. If it is your desire to feel special and unique then purple is the right color choice. If you would like to send a message out into the world that you're one of a kind and that you could care less about conformity, then wear purple.

    Pink

Pink is often the favourite colour of little girls and some big girls too! This is a good colour to wear if you want to connect with other people. Again there is a vast range of pinks available and different shades will suit different people.Pink is associated with gentleness and empathy. I guess thats why girls like to wear pink.Actually in the 1920's if im not mistaken, pink is a masculin colour..can you imagine that!! haha...

    Blue

Blue is the colour of logic. It is a “safe” colour and often associated with law and order. Many uniforms are blue. The darker the shade the stronger the effect so by wearing lighter shades, you still have the benefit of wearing a safe colour but without the authority. In contrary, wearing blue also helps create a place of calm and serenity.Wearing ocean hues of blue is especially calming. Indigo or darker blues can offer more of a comfort zone feeling, almost as if you are sinking into a pool of warm water. Blues in general remind me of a favorite pair of well-worn denim jeans - now that's simply relaxing.

    Green

Green is considered to be one of the most healing among all the colors.Because green is the color of trees and grasses it is a wonderful color choice to wear anytime you are wanting to feel more in-tune with nature. Green represents the Spring season and new growth. Green is a calming colour and often used in hospitals and dentist waiting rooms to calm the patients. One study has shown that children in a green classroom are more focused than in a yellow classroom and concentrate for longer. Green is the colour of vegetation and often loved by creative and imaginative people. Choose this color to wear whenever you are embarking on something new or wish to turn over a new leaf. Find a shade that suits you when you need to be open minded.
Our prophet Muhammad S.A.W love this colour...

Colour can really change the world...By choosing the right colours, we can influence how we feel and it also reflects how we are perceived by others around us....and also what we are comfortable with...

  13. I have read articles about "What is friendship".Friendship is a term used to denote co-operative and supportive behavior between two or more people. In this sense, the term connotes a relationship which involves mutual knowledge, esteem, and affection and respect along with a degree of rendering service to friends in times of need or crisis. Friends will welcome each other's company and exhibit loyalty towards each other. Their tastes will usually be similar and may converge, and they will share enjoyable activities. They will also engage in mutually helping behavior, such as exchange of advice and the sharing of hardship. A friend is someone who may often demonstrate reciprocating and reflective behaviors. Yet for many, friendship is nothing more than the trust that someone or something will not harm them.
Afer I read about this articles, we should appreciate all our best friends in our life.

  15. I had read about articles of health.
    12.AFFORTABLE WAYS TO GOOD HEALTH
1.Exercise, and at the very least, just walk.
You need to move to burn those calories, to keep your body “oiled” and revving, and your metabolism humming just fine. Even a brisk walk is considered quite healthy so if you can manage a regular exercise regimen comprised of sustained activity for 30 minutes a day, you’re in good shape.

    2. Sleep earlier.
Here’s the reason for improving your sleeping habits: your body heals and repairs itself and does its regulatory job while you’re snoozing. So give it the rest it deserves to keep you chugging along well the next day. A lifetime of bad sleeping habits will no doubt take a toll on you and this is one easy way to avoid getting sick

    3. Consider vitamin supplementation.
Supplements — especially the important ones — are a necessity to help replenish your body’s stores. Certain vitamins and minerals are important to prevent certain diseases.
4.Think twice about joining weight loss programme.
For those who truly need the extra help, sites like Medifast and eDiets may be helpful.
5.Eat more vegetables, cut down on red meat, caffeine, sugar and salt.
How many times have I heard that we should consume several servings of vegetables a day consistently? Yech. And reduce the amount of red meat we eat? Dang. What about my favorite foods: coffee, sweets, junk/processed food and french fries? Well, I am now reaching middle age and I’m beginning to see people in my life falling into the clutches of diabetes, high blood pressure and heart disease.

    6.Never skip breakfast.
hese are bad habits that your body has become accustomed to doing and that needs to be broken. I look upon one of my co-workers as an example: he doesn’t have breakfast but eats non-stop when he gets home from work all the way till bedtime. Let’s just say this whacks out a body’s rhythm and does a number on glucose levels. Needless to say, the guy isn’t exactly in tip top shape nor healthy looking.

    7.Never eat an incomplete meal.
Never eat an incomplete meal. What does this mean? This means that each meal we take should always contain all three basic food groups: carbohydrates, healthy fats and protein, because your body needs all three food elements to absorb properly and most efficiently in your body.

    8.Don’t let yourself go hungry.
It’s weird but I also learned that if you can be proactive and anticipate when you’ll be hungry, and actually eat something before you do, you’ll eat less, and better. If you eat right after you find yourself starving, you’ll end up devouring more than you need to. By the same token, if you eat slowly and chew your food well, you’ll be able to control your food consumption better.

    9.Toss the vices

The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. It’s something you just cannot “nag” someone to do, since many a time, they’d rather take the chance and possibly face the consequences of their long term habits at a later time. After all, the reasoning goes, you can just as easily get run over by a bus than pick up health problems from some random vice. impacts your body in the same way terrible toxins do, so do your best to avoid it.

    10.Don’t stress out.
Stress impacts your body in the same way terrible toxins do, so do your best to avoid it.

    11.Wash your hands often.
Avoid getting sick by washing your hands often to prevent any infections of bacteria or germs to attack your immune system.

12.Visit your doctor for annual tests.
Routine tests can catch problems early on before they develop into real trouble later. Don’t let it grow into a big issue that costs a lot to deal with.

  16. I had read about an interesting article about"HOW TO GROW A FRIEND" who written by Joys Steven.

    1. People Equal Friends.
There is a certain chemistry with friends just as in a love relationship. Therefore, contact with other people is the first building block to grow a friend. Friends can't grow in a vacuum. Best friends take time.
    2. Talking Is Essential Among Friends.
Talking between friends requires reciprocity. In a mutually satisfying friendship, both friends talk and both friends listen. Friends talk appropriately to each other.
    3. Friends Acknowledge Friends.
Friends acknowledge each other when talking. Many conflicts in your personal relationships can be avoided if you will take the time to acknowledge other's feelings and points of view.
    4. Friends Listen to Friends.
Listening to friends in an important step in building a closer friendship. We often take listening for granted, never realizing what it means to really listen to a friend.
    5. Friends Attend to Friends.
Friends focus during conversations. Friends pay attention in conversations. It means that your ears, your eyes, your body and your feelings are all focused on that person at the time.
    6. Friends Show Empathy With Friends.
Empathy is identifying with your friend's feelings and seeing life through your friend's eyes. Confidences are freely given when they are received with empathy among friends.
    7. Friends Touch Friends.
Touching is a warm form of communication between friends. When you see best friends communicating, you will notice friends "listen with their eyes," stand close together, and touch comfortably.
    8. Friends Praise Friends.
Affirmation is a powerful tool for growing a friend. Genuine praise can affect your friends' lives. Be liberal with praise for all of your friends, including your casual ones.
    9. Friends Are Loyal and Trustworthy.
Trust and loyalty go hand-in-hand for friends. Friends can trust you with their secrets, both large and small, because good friends never break a confidence. Good friends are forever loyal!

  17. Slumdog Millionaire is a 2008 British film directed by Danny Boyle, written by Simon Beaufoy, and co-directed in India by Loveleen Tandan.[2] It is an adaptation of the Boeke Prize-winning and Commonwealth Writers' Prize-nominated novel Q & A (2005) by Indian author and diplomat Vikas Swarup.

Set and filmed in India, Slumdog Millionaire tells the story of a young man from the slums of Mumbai who appears on the Indian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? (Kaun Banega Crorepati, mentioned in the Hindi version) and exceeds people's expectations, arousing the suspicions of the game show host and of law enforcement officials.

After its world premiere at Telluride Film Festival and subsequent screenings at the Toronto International Film Festival and the London Film Festival,[3] Slumdog Millionaire initially had a limited North American release on 12 November 2008 by Fox Searchlight Pictures and Warner Bros. Pictures, to critical acclaim and awards success. It later had a nationwide grand release in the United Kingdom on 9 January 2009 and in the United States on 23 January 2009.[4] It premiered in Mumbai on 22 January 2009.[5] The DVD and Blu-ray versions are set to be released on 31 March 2009.[6]

Slumdog Millionaire was nominated for ten Academy Awards in 2009 and won eight, the most for any film of 2008, including Best Picture and Best Director. It also won five Critics' Choice Awards, four Golden Globes, and seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film. Despite the film's success, it is the subject of controversy concerning its portrayals of Indians and Hinduism as well as the welfare of its child actors.

    Some Foods Increase Brain Function
Fruits, Vegetables, and Small Portions Improve Brainpower.

Recently I read about the foods that increase brain function.
On the BBC’s Wellbeing web pages there is a listing of foods that are good for the brain:

    * Wholegrains
    * oily fish (wild salmon, sardines, yellowfin tuna)
    * blueberries
    * tomatoes
    * blackcurrants
    * pumpkin seeds
    * broccoli
    * sage

In this article also state we should take a meal follow the time. When to Eat is also Important. Mother always said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and Mother was right. The brain needs a kick-start in the morning, and not with sugar-coated, chocolate-loaded pastries. Some carbohydrates are good, along with a small amount of protein.

According to the article “11 Steps to a Better Brain” in the May 2005 issue of New Scientist “kids breakfasting on fizzy drinks and sugary snacks performed at the level of an average 70-year-old in tests of memory and attention…Beans on toast (whole grain) is a far better combination…Toast alone boosted children’s scores on a variety of cognitive tests…the breakfast with the high-protein beans worked best.”

At the website Health Mad Nobert Soloria Bermosa advises that people should “Avoid eating sausage, bacon, and eggs because they are rich in fat and cholesterol. They are slow to digest and tend to direct the flow of blood away from the brain and reduce mental alertness.” (The traditional English breakfast; this might explain Margaret Thatcher.)

Other meals need to be small and balanced, and between-meal snacks are important. While the brain needs a lot of feeding, it seems it’s also a picky eater, and its favourite food is glucose. Grazing on fruits, veggies, unsalted nuts, and orange juice will keep the glucose levels up.

    So, thinks before eat!!

  19. YES MAN FILM...
Yes Man is based on a memoir of the same name by British humourist Danny Wallace. The books tells of the 6-month period in which he committed himself to saying 'Yes' to everything based on a brief conversation with a stranger he met on the bus. Danny Wallace also has a cameo in the film, in the final bar-scene of the movie, in which he is speaking to someone behind Jim Carrey.[2]

Carrey declined an upfront salary for his role in the film. He will instead be paid 36.2% of the film's gross after its production and marketing costs are recovered.[3]

During shooting of a scene where Carrey's character bungee jumps off a bridge, Carrey interrupted and asked to do the stunt himself.[4] Carrey stated to the stunt double that he intended to do it in one take. When he jumps off, he is seen taking out a cell phone for the scene.

While shooting the scene in the bar where Carrey's character turns around into a waitress and falls flat on his back, Carrey executed the stunt incorrectly and fell to the floor harder than he expected, breaking three ribs in the process. Carrey himself revealed this in an interview for Moviefone in response to a viewer-submitted question about the film's stunts. [5]

Carrey also mastered basic Korean for a scene. A language coach was hired to help Carrey learn the language accurately. However, this is not the same for the scene in which Carrey's character learns to play the guitar; Carrey has been playing the instrument since his childhood.

The film's soundtrack features original music by "Munchausen by Proxy", a fictional band named after the Münchausen syndrome by proxy, a psychological disorder. Jim Carrey's character is incessantly invited to see the band by an over-eager manager/street promoter. Along with female lead Zooey Deschanel, the fictional band was created by Von Iva.[6] The San Francisco-based all-girl power trio of vocals, keyboards and drums were hired to collaborate with the actress to write and perform the original songs and stylized aesthetic of the group for this pivotal scene.[7][8] Von Iva got the part of the fictional ensemble in the film after the movie's music supervisor, Jonathan Karp, saw the cover of their CD in Amoeba in Hollywood.[9] The soundtrack also features 9 songs by Eels including a brand-new song, "Man Up." Hello...
There are 3 general types of transmission for car.Manual-trans,Auto-trans, and AMTransmission..
Now,let me explain to you how clutches work.
If you drive a manual transmission car, you may be surprised to find out that it has more than one clutch. And it turns out that folks with automatic transmission cars have clutches, too. In fact, there are clutches in many things you probably see or use every day: Many cordless drills have a clutch, chain saws have a centrifugal clutch and even some yo-yos have a clutch.
Clutches are useful in devices that have two rotating shafts. In these devices, one of the shafts is typically driven by a motor or pulley, and the other shaft drives another device. In a drill, for instance, one shaft is driven by a motor and the other drives a drill chuck. The clutch connects the two shafts so that they can either be locked together and spin at the same speed, or be decoupled and spin at different speeds.
In a car, you need a clutch because the engine spins all the time, but the car's wheels do not. In order for a car to stop without killing the engine, the wheels need to be disconnected from the engine somehow. The clutch allows us to smoothly engage a spinning engine to a non-spinning transmission by controlling the slippage between them.

To understand how a clutch works, it helps to know a little bit about friction, which is a measure of how hard it is to slide one object over another. Friction is caused by the peaks and valleys that are part of every surface -- even very smooth surfaces still have microscopic peaks and valleys. The larger these peaks and valleys are, the harder it is to slide the object.

Phillips in his New World of Words, edit. 1720, describes the umbrella as "now commonly used by women to shelter them from rain."

Why I’m chose this title? I always read an article that related with me. For last semester break I also was affected from this disease. Chikungunya (in the Makonde language "that which bends up") virus (CHIKV) is an insect-borne virus, of the genus, Alphavirus, that is transmitted to humans by virus-carrying Aedes mosquitoes. Originally from Australia, there have been recent outbreaks of CHIKV associated with severe morbidity. CHIKV causes an illness with symptoms similar to dengue fever. CHIKV manifests itself with an acute febrile phase of the illness lasts only two to five days, followed by a prolonged arthralgic disease that affects the joints of the extremities. The pain associated with CHIKV infection of the joints persists for weeks or months.
Here also I would like to pick some signs and symptoms. The incubation period of Chikungunya disease is from two to four days. Symptoms of the disease include a fever up to 40 °C (104 °F), a petechial or maculopapular rash of the trunk and occasionally the limbs, and arthralgia or arthritis affecting multiple joints. Other nonspecific symptoms can include headache, conjunctival infection, and slight photophobia. Typically, the fever lasts for two days and then ends abruptly. However, other symptoms, namely joint pain, intense headache, insomnia and an extreme degree of prostration last for a variable period; usually for about 5 to 7 days. Patients have complained of joint pains for much longer time periods depending on their age. I was so tired during that time but I’m lucky because of I realize it from becomes too late.

    Perspective of Darkness and Light

Everyone ought to associate darkness to bad and light to good. But have you wonder that without darkness, there is no light. In this world, all matters is created so to balance the darkness and light. For example, how will you know that you had a wonderful and happy life now if you don't have a harsh and sad moment before that.

Albert Einstein once said: "Evil does not exist, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat, or the darkness that comes when there is no light."

  25. There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.
The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in
summer, and the youngest son in the fall.
When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.
The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.
The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree's life.
He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.
If you give up when it's winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, fulfillment of your fall.

    Moral:
Don't let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
Don't judge life by one difficult season.
Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or
    later.

  26. what is leadership?
leadership is much more than management. it is the ability to lead a group of followers effectively, make them and the organization successful and still maintain valid principles nad ideals. leaders must have followers to successful and they must know how to treat the followers to ensure their success. they should have values that are consistent with high moral and ethical standards, and they should know how to motivate others effectively. great leaders often have leadership styles that fit into four highly developed categories and they can interchange these leadership styles when it makes the most sense. some of the greatest leaders in american and world history clearly fall into these categories like ronald reagan and many others. they had the ability to motivate their followers and elicit change, and change is a vital element of a great leaders , they have to know how to create successful change and motivate others to change too. great leaders are not all positive as someone like hilter clearly indicates and that can be the negative aspect of leadership and the power of leadership.

one way to express their happy feelings is by smile..anyone will look cheerful when they smile,
As abstract from the magazine, scientific research from Keltner's study said that the people who can spontaneously smile or give real smile can reduce stressness when having difficult time such as death.Besides.one great things is,when we talking with giving smile our body release a hormone which is oxytocin. It is a kind of caring hormone which can make people feel relax and calm.So clearly we can see that smile can give many benefits to ourself and others.

After 1 week of presenting about the stepper motor, we were asked to present about our invention product that related with our subject electrical technology. He said our product must be unique and low in cost (the lower the cost, the higher the mark). So my group came up with an idea of a product that can be used as a teaching aid in teaching electrical subjects or Physics.
Our product was solenoids with different number of loops and our purpose is to figure out the effect of the number of loops to the strength of the electromagnetism. So once again, I have to do some Research on the product and concept used as I know I'll be chosen for the presentation.
Here are some of the stuff that I manage to find out, magnetism is one of the phenomena by which materials exert attractive or repulsive forces on other materials. Some well-known materials that exhibit easily detectable magnetic properties (called magnets) are nickel, iron, cobalt, gadolinium and their alloys; however, all materials are influenced to greater or lesser degree by the presence of a magnetic field.
Solenoid is actually a wire with an electric current passing through it, generates a magnetic field around it, this is a simple electromagnet. The strength of magnetic field generated is proportional to the amount of current. Electromagnet or solenoids are widely used in many electric devices, including: Motors and generators; Relays; Electric bells; Loudspeakers; Magnetic recording and data storage equipment: tape recorders, VCRs, hard disks; Particle accelerators; Magnetic locks; Magnetic separation of materials and Industrial lifting magnets.

  33. Why is the letter ''W'' called ''double U'' when it looks more like two ''V''s put together? Why isn't there a unique name for this letter like other letters?

According to the experts at AskOxford.com, English uses the Latin alphabet of the Romans but the latter had no letter suitable for representing the phoneme ''w'' used in Old English. The earliest form for ''w'' was probably the ''uu'' that was used by scribes in the seventh century. Some of the scribes later replaced the ''uu'' with the runic symbol known as ''wynn.''

European scribes continued to use the ''uu'' term and this usage was brought back to England along with the Norman Conquest in 1066. Early printers sometimes used ''vv'' for the lack of a ''w'' in their type but the pronunciation ''double u'' stuck around till now.

Hi. We can define love with many aspects. Love to god, love to our parents, love to our family, and love to our friends and of course love to our husband or wife. Love can be the most amazing feeling that god give to us. It is normal to us as a human being to fall in love.

    How to love???

    1. Say it. When you say the words "I Love You", they should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them, not what you simply want to feel. When you say it make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person.

    2. Empathize. Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Rather than impose your own expectations or attempt to control them, try to understand how they feel, where they come from, and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well.

    3. Love unconditionally. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations, then it is not love at all, but deep-seated opportunism (one who makes the most of an advantage, often unmindful of others). If your interest is not in the other person as such, but rather in how that person can enhance your experience of life, then it is not unconditional. If you have no intention of improving that person’s life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them as they are, and not who you want them to be, then you are not striving to love them unconditionally.

    4. Expect nothing in return. That doesn't mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Try loving just for the sake of love. Realize that someone may have a different way of showing his or her love for you, do not expect to be loved back in exactly the same way.

    5. Realize it can be lost. If you realize that you can lose the one you love, then you have a greater appreciation of what you have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love. Don't make an idol of the person you love. This will place them under undue pressure and will likely result in you losing them.

To me. True love is only love to god because it is everlasting.

Actually coffee has its own benefit. Coffee is an anti-oxidant actually. Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in foods that can prevent or slow oxidative damage to our body. When our cells utilize oxygen, they naturally produce free radicals which can cause damage to other cells. Antioxidants act as "free radical scavengers" and hence prevent and repair damage inflicted by these free radicals. Fruits and vegetables are hailed as the richest sources of antioxidants, but this study shows that coffee is the main source from which most Americans get their antioxidants. Both caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee appears to provide similar amounts of antioxidants. So, even coffee contain caffeine, it has its own benefit for us. It will make we always look younger than our actual age I think..hehe..

All of us do not know that dark chocolate is good for our health. It give us benefit almost like coffee actually. Chocolate is made from plants, which means it contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that leads to heart disease. Dark chocolate contains a large number of antioxidants (nearly 8 times the number found in strawberries). Flavonoids also help relax blood pressure through the production of nitric oxide, and balance certain hormones in the body.

  37. When i was young, I always wondering on how did "chicken pox" get its name?

There's no shortage of theories on how chicken pox got its name, but two are more credible than others. One is that the term derives from cicer, the Latin word for chickpea, which a chicken pox pustule resembles. The other suggests it comes from the Old English word for itch, gican. Be they itchy pox or chickpea pox, one thing is certain: chicken pox doesn't come from chickens.

Pox, or pocks, is an ancient word for any disease characterised by pustules on the skin's surface. Aside from chicken pox and smallpox, there is also the lesser-known cowpox - carried by rodents but often transmitted to humans via contaminated cows during milking - and a rare form of smallpox seen in Africa called monkey pox.

  38. THE STATUS OF WOMAN IN ISLAM
    By Jamal A. Badawi

Family, society and ultimately the whole of mankind is treated by Islam on an ethical basis. Differentiation in sex is neither a credit nor a drawback for the sexes. Therefore, when we talk about status of woman in Islam it should not lead us to think that Islam has no specific guidelines, limitations, responsibilities and obligations for men. What makes one valuable and respectable in the eyes of Allah, the Creator of mankind and the universe, is neither one's prosperity, position, intelligence, physical strength nor beauty, but only one's Allah-consciousness and awareness (taqwa). However, since in the Western culture and in cultures influenced by it, there exists a disparity between men and women there is more need for stating Islam's position on important issues in a clear way.

The status of women in society is neither a new issue nor is it a fully settled one.

The position of Islam on this issue has been among the subjects presented to the Western reader with the least objectivity.

This paper is intended to provide a brief and authentic exposition of what Islam stands for in this regard. The teachings of Islam are based essentially on the Qur'an (God's revelation) and Hadeeth (elaboration by Prophet Muhammad).

The Qur'an and the Hadeeth, properly and unbiasedly understood, provide the basic source of authentication for any position or view which is attributed to Islam.

The paper starts with a brief survey of the status of women in the pre-Islamic era. It then focuses on these major questions:

What is the position of Islam regarding the status of woman in society? How similar or different is that position from "the spirit of the time," which was dominant when Islam was revealed? How would this compare with the "rights" which were finally gained by woman in recent decades?

from what i have read, color blindness is cause by genetic inheritance from previous family. for this type of disability, it is common to inherit it from parents. other than that, this disability is caused by a syndrome called 'shaken baby syndrome' (brain and retina damage), accidents that damages retina and also because of UV.

  42. EXAM PREPARATION
The most important thing any student can do to prepare for exam is to start early. The days of studying for an exam on the bus going to school are over. Even if you got A's this way, it's not going to work very often with college material. College courses require far more effort.

Start preparing for the next test the day after you take the prior one. Daily preparation is crucial. At a minimum, review material once every week between exams.
How much time is needed? The classic question. Some recommend 2-3 hours outside of class for every hour of class time. In some cases homework problems will require this much effort. For a straightforward lecture course try the following:
Every day before class, preview the material for 15-20 minutes.
Attend every lecture. Seems simple but it's the biggest misteak students make.
    Take good notes. Learn how.
Spend another 20-30 minutes after class going over the notes.
Use this time to get any confusing points cleared up in your head; much better now than later. This will make later exam prep. MUCH easier.
Once a week, review the material to get a more complete overview of the information.

  43. MOST EFFECTIVE DIET
Wouldn't it be great if you could find out what the most effective diet program is without spending a fortune? Oh wait a second...you're about to find out right now! Seriously though, take just two minutes out of your busy day to read this article and learn more about the most effective and popular diet of 2009!

My friend, you have to first understand that in order for any diet to be effective, you have to still practice the core principles of a healthy lifestyle. This is why I highly recommend for you to avoid fad diets, starvation diets, and celebrity type diets. Those types of diets go against the core principles of a healthy lifestyle...especially the most important principle...proper nutrition!

The most effective diet that will help you with the most effective principle, which is proper nutrition as mentioned above, is a new dieting system called calorie shifting. This system works because you will firstly be able to eat the amount of calories you are SUPPOSED to get daily, but you will be taught how to shift those calories into raising your metabolic rate to its highest level possible. The higher your metabolic rate is the more fat and weight will drop right off of you!

Listen, if you are tired of wasting your hard earned money on expensive dieting systems and plans that are highly ineffective...and in most cases unsafe for you, then I highly recommend for you to look into a tryout the calorie shifting diet system!

    Other tips:

Flashcards - help to memorize facts NOT understanding
Groups - good to work through difficult material, quiz each other for understanding
Review sessions - only go to early ones, last minute reviews sometimes cause needless confusion
Tutors - get help early, waiting till the last minute only fosters aggravation and panic
Professors/TA's - same as above, don't email about material the night before, do it early

    TEENAGERS WHO SMOKE:
    Penalize the parents of smokers

Refer to the report "Help to kick the habit" (NST, Oct 4) on teens and the smoking syndrome.

Smoking among schoolchildren needs to be looked at with greater urgency.

A survey has revealed that there are a few thousand schoolchildren lighting up each year for the first time.

The report says those between the ages of 13 and 15 form the highest percentage of teenage smokers in Malaysia.

    Some syndromes are...
Their lips are dark, their breath has a nauseating odor of tobacco and their uniforms, too, smell of tobacco.

Students have to be made to realize that smoking has been deemed a chronic illness and that death occurs after a number of years of smoking....

have read an article how to care our skin in daily life. A soft, smooth and supple skin can take your confidence to that height you were dreaming for. A natural glow on your skin comes with proper care of your skin. Skin products available in the market take away the natural oil from your skin and make it dull and dry.
A moisturizing will protect your skin from moisture loss, helping to keep it soft, smooth and supple. It will also protect your skin from the penetration of grime, chemicals and bacteria. We all need moisturizers, even those of us with the most oily skin, but obviously it's important to choose the correct one for your skin type.
Apply moisturizer to your skin while it is still slightly damp from balancing. This enhances the moisturizing effect. Spread it gently, first on to your neck then up on to your face being careful not to drag the skin - particularly around the delicate eye area.
Make sure you use moisturizer with vegetable oil base. Mineral oil is not compatible with skin so baby lotion and petroleum jelly products are therefore best avoided.
Try any of the following to turn your day or night cream into beneficial aromatherapy treatment.
The ratio is two drops of aromatherapy oil to 4 fl oz (100 ml) of cream either used singly or in combination.

  48. 9 Ways to Improve Yourself

    Truly understand what you’re doing

Web design and development is a skill. There are amateurs and there are professionals. Unfortunately, as far as the general public is concerned, making a website can be done in Word with just a few clicks. As a professional you should take pride in what you do and convey that pride in the work you produce. Take the time to research the medium in which you work. There is a vast amount of information, both technical and otherwise, surrounding the Web as a whole. As with any profession, your work deserves the research to back it up. Know your industry.

Read as much as you can

The most talented designers and developers are readily accessible at any hour of the day, directly or indirectly. These industry leaders are constantly providing massive amounts of their knowledge publicly. The majority publish to personal (as well as professional) websites, blogs, or otherwise. Many have published complete books as well, some of which is the best documentation you can get your hands on. We’re in a unique position in that we’re able to read the latest and greatest information the instant it’s published. Take advantage, subscribe to feeds, take some book recommendations seriously, and read as much as you can.

Write as much as you can

After reading articles, books, posts, or otherwise, take some time to provide your thoughts. They don’t need to be ground-breaking or Earth-shattering. If you’ve got a question; ask it. If you’ve got an (appropriate) opinion; express it. Involving yourself will do nothing but propel the speed at which you can come to a conclusion regarding any questions you may have. If you’ve got a lot to say about something, start a blog, write a post or article, write it down and get it out there. Your contribution will help future designers/developers who have the same questions or concerns.

Talk as much as you can

Engaging in dialog is another great way to gain some knowledge you may not otherwise come across. Whether it be in person, over an instant messaging platform, or a thread in a forum, I’ve found direct conversation to be a great way to broaden my view on various subjects. I’ve discovered completely different viewpoints through conversations that changed the way I do things significantly for the better. Many times, an outsider’s view will be the eye opening information you were looking for in the first place.

    Try something new

Many times, people become comfortable in their own process, in Web work or otherwise. It hasn’t let you down yet, so if it isn’t broken, why fix it? While I tend to take that very stance when it comes to many things, with Web development I do not. When it comes to the Web, things are changing and evolving at far too quick of a pace to feel completely comfortable with how you do everything. New technologies and techniques are proving to be more effective all the time. Some really intelligent people are producing tools and processes for us to use in an effort to help produce higher quality work in the most efficient way possible. It’s great to keep up on these developments, but take the extra step and try implementation. If you think a different piece of software may be better suited for an upcoming project, give it a try if the a budget or time frame allows. There are many articles on such things as how to Write Better CSS or articles which provide someone’s Bare Bones Style Sheet. I’ll always keep watch for an eye opening way of doing things that just makes more sense than what I’m doing now.

    Keep yourself organized

Organization is very important not only when it comes to your work, but when it comes to life as well. Knowing how to keep yourself organized will help you to retain focus on the tasks at hand and help you to keep Getting Things Done. As a Web designer or developer, you spend nearly your entire day at your computer. Take the time to keep it organized. Have a naming convention and file structure in place that you use for everything. Keep your emails in order and sign off AIM if it’s getting in the way. Your buddy from college can send those pictures later on. Organization should be applied to your code as well. Coming up with a company or personal theming convention can help things tremendously, for example.

    Make more websites

Taking a page from the book of Kyle Neath, by far one of the best ways to improve yourself as a designer or developer is to do more work. Whether it be client based or simply a personal project you’ve had rattling around your head for the past few months. Set aside sufficient time to produce the best work you can, as it is a representation of yourself and you should take pride in it.

    Remain enthusiastic

One of the best ways to improve yourself as a designer or developer is to be excited about what you’re doing. Take comfort in knowing you’re doing quality work that displays your talents. Becoming involved in the industry will help boost your excitement about what you’re doing like no other. Enjoying what you do will retain your hobby being your career. Web design and development has a tendency of becoming slightly frustrating when you’re taking on a new language or technique. Take frustration as a sign of determination. Give yourself a minute to gather your thoughts and resume where you left off. Having enthusiasm in your work will help you be more productive than anything else, and distaste will bring you to a grinding halt.

    Always keep learning

Finally, by far, the best way to improve yourself as a Web designer or developer is to keep learning. Don’t ever think you know as much as you need to know, or that you know more than the majority so you’re better off and that’s good enough. There will always be something to learn, something to discover. The knowledge involved in working with the Web is extremely vast, and it inherits many principles and theories completely unrelated to computers or the Internet. Be humble in your knowledge and continually try to learn as much as you can.

  50. The 5-second Rule

Almost everyone has dropped food on the floor and still wanted to eat it. Some people apply the "5-second rule" — that random saying about how food won't become contaminated with bacteria if you pick it up off the floor in 5 seconds or less.

The 5-second rule has become such a part of our culture that scientists actually tested it. As you can probably guess, they found that the "rule" is mostly myth: Bacteria can attach to food even if you pick it up super fast. So, depending on which types of bacteria happen to climb on board, you could still get sick.

Here are two facts to consider whenever you feel tempted by the 5-second rule:

    1. A clean-looking floor isn't necessarily clean. A shiny linoleum floor is probably cleaner than a 1970s-era carpet. But even clean, dry floors can harbor bacteria. Newly washed floors are only as clean as the tools used to wash them (picture eating food off the mop in the cafeteria if you need a visual). Even with a brand-new mop or sponge, stubborn germs can still remain on the floor after cleaning.

    2. Fast is better — but it may not be fast enough. Although a piece of food does pick up more bacteria the longer it's on the floor, bacteria can attach to it instantly. So any food that makes contact with the floor can get contaminated if conditions are right. And foods with wet surfaces, like an apple slice, pick up bacteria easily.

  51. How Can I Lose Weight Safely?

When you're a teen, dieting can be dangerous because you may not get the right kinds and amounts of nutrients, which can lead to poor growth and other health problems. But eating healthy meals and snacks combined with reasonable amounts of exercise can help you lose weight and develop properly at the same time. For a lot of people, just being more active might help them lose weight without even changing what they eat. Regular exercise also helps them feel healthier and better about themselves.

The best way to diet is to eat a wide variety of enough food to meet your body's needs. Aim to eat more fruits and veggies, cut back on meats high in fat (like burgers and hot dogs), greasy fried foods, and sweets, and drink more water instead of sugary drinks like sports drinks or sodas.

If you are concerned about your body's size or think you need to lose weight, talk with your doctor or a registered dietitian, who may reassure you that you are at a healthy weight. Or if you are overweight, he or she can sit down with you and determine the best way for you to reach a healthy weight.
