READING ENTRY 2 (A14)

34 comments:

  1. Lately, I'm lack of sleep due to some stress. I feel so tired and couldn't concentrate in class. So i find some articles to read bout how to manage it and here it is. It says that scientists discover not getting a good night's sleep may literally be driving you crazy.
Feeling frazzled after a few nights of restless sleep? New research suggests there's a good reason to make sure you get enough shut-eye.
Robert Stickgold, a sleep researcher at Harvard University, suggests insomnia and other sleep-related problems could lead to a range of mental health conditions including depression, post traumatic stress disorder and attention deficit disorder.Rather than being a side effect of mental illness, Stickgold argues that erratic sleep pattern could in fact be the cause of such problems.
"It was just so easy to say about a patient, well, he's depressed or schizophrenic, of course he's not sleeping well – and never to ask whether there could be a causal relationship the other way," he said.
According to New Scientist, the findings imply proper sleep treatments could help those who suffer from certain psychiatric disorders. But at the same time, it also means that some mental health patients may be prescribed psychoactive drugs that are unnecessary, or even harmful to them.
So it suggest us some tips on getting your beauty sleep.

    • Develop a sleeping routine. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time everyday – even when you’re tired or on the weekend.

    • Cut back on your alcohol and caffeine intake -- including stimulants like chocolate, soft drinks and energy drinks.

    • Avoid eating too much before bedtime.

    • Exercise regularly – but not within a few hours of going to bed.

I'm practicing it now and hopefully for those having same problem like me, with these tips could help you guys out..

  2. Last week,I have read an article about "How to Become an Excellent Student".This article was make me excited. Here,I listed 10 steps how to become an excellent student :

    1. You must pay attention...When a teacher is giving a lesson, take notes and if you don't understand something, raise your hand and ask. The more questions you ask, the smarter you'll get, believe it or not. By passing notes and talking to friends, you won't learn anything, so pay close attention!

    2. Review your notes when you have free time.

    3. Take some time to write some problems up, or you could ask someone to write them for you. Just remember, it doesn't hurt to go over what you have learned.

    4. Do your homework. Teachers give you homework for a reason. It is to review what you have learned that day. Take advantage of your free time. If you really want to be a successful student, you should know right from the beginning when you want to be great at anything, you have to put up with things that just don't seem fair. Doing your homework is not a big deal. Remember, homework can also help you develop good habits and attitudes.

    5. Be prepared. Bring everything you need with you to class. Books, folders, pens, pencils, homework, review sheets etc. whatever you need it would be a good idea to bring it.

    6. Get organized. Keep a folder for each subject, and yes, you put your math papers in your math folder, you put your Language Arts papers in your Language Arts folder, you put your science papers in your science folder, and so on. It would really be a good idea to color code or label your folders.

    7. Study. It would be a good idea to start studying a few days before a test. Make a study schedule. If an extracurricular activity gets in the way of your studying, tell the person in charge of that certain event, that you will not be able to attend that event, or you will have to leave early. However, there will be certain situations where you will have to attend whatever it is. In this kind of situation, you will just have to study another day. This is where your study schedule comes in. Write out a schedule of the week of your test and find your free time. Always remember, use your time wisely.

    8. Start to read a little more. If you are not already a reader, start at your level and work your way up. You may not know this, but by reading more challenging and difficult books, you are expanding your vocabulary.

    9. Ask a parent or older sibling to look over your notes and create a mini-test for you 3 days advance of your test. You should always want to study before the night of your test.

    10. Use of mind maps can be helpful for understanding hard topics.

I hope that I can practice this steps in my daily routine so that one day I can be an excellent students.Lets join me my beloved friends.... (",)

  3. Assalamualaikum....

Hi miss and my other fellow friends. Hope you guys in a good condition.

A few days ago, I have written an article about health and I would like to share it with you guys. I am really interest with this topic because people nowadays are lack taking care of their health compare than the important thing to find a money.

There are some tips that can be practicing to get good health.

    1.Move More
Make it a daily challenge to find ways to move your body. Climb stairs if given a choice between that and escalators or elevators. Anything that moves your limbs is not only a fitness tool, it's a stress buster. Think 'move' in small increments of time. It doesn't have to be an hour in the gym or a 45-minute aerobic dance class or tai chi or kickboxing. But that's great when you're up to it. Meanwhile, move more. Thought for the day: Cha, Cha, Cha…. Then do it!

    2. Cut Fat
Avoid the obvious such as fried foods, burgers and other fatty meats (i.e. pork, bacon, ham, salami, ribs and sausage). Dairy products such as cheese, cottage cheese, milk and cream should be eaten in low fat versions. Nuts and sandwich meats, mayonnaise, margarine, butter and sauces should be eaten in limited amounts. Most are available in lower fat versions such as substitute butter, fat free cheeses and mayonnaise. Thought for the day: Lean, mean, fat-burning machine…. Then be one!

    3. Quit Smoking
The jury is definitely in on this verdict. Ever since 1960 when the Surgeon General announced that smoking was harmful to your health, Americans have been reducing their use of tobacco products that kill. Just recently, we've seen a surge in smoking in adolescents and teens. Could it be the Hollywood influence? It seems the stars in every movie of late smoke cigarettes. Beware. Warn your children of the false romance or 'tough guy' stance of Hollywood smokers. Thought for the day: Give up just one cigarette…. the next one.

    4. Reduce Stress
Easier said than done, stress busters come in many forms. Some techniques recommended by experts are to think positive thoughts. Spend 30 minutes a day doing something you like. (i.e.,Soak in a hot tub; walk on the beach or in a park; read a good book; visit a friend; play with your dog; listen to soothing music; watch a funny movie. Get a massage, a facial or a haircut. Meditate. Count to ten before losing your temper or getting aggravated. Avoid difficult people when possible. Thought for the day: When seeing red, think pink clouds….then float on them.

    5. Protect Yourself from Pollution
If you can't live in a smog-free environment, at least avoid smoke-filled rooms, high traffic areas, breathing in highway fumes and exercising near busy thoroughfares. Exercise outside when the smog rating is low. Exercise indoors in air conditioning when air quality is good. Plant lots of shrubbery in your yard. It's a good pollution and dirt from the street deterrent. Thought for the day: 'Smoke gets in your eyes'…and your mouth, and your nose and your lungs as do pollutants….hum the tune daily.

    6. Wear Your Seat Belt
Statistics show that seat belts add to longevity and help alleviate potential injuries in car crashes. Thought for the day: Buckle down and buckle up.

    7. Floss Your Teeth
Recent studies make a direct connection between longevity and teeth flossing. Nobody knows exactly why. Perhaps it's because people who floss tend to be more health conscious than people who don't? Thought for the day: Floss and be your body's boss.

    8. Keep a Positive Mental Outlook
There's a definitive connection between living well and healthfully and having a cheerful outlook on life. Thought for the day: You can't be unhappy when you're smiling or singing.

Hopefully, it can be a good guide line for my friends and I to keep healthy health.Last but not least, money can buy food but not appetite, money can buy book but not knowledge, money can buy insurance but not health. See, money is not everything, but it nor nothing.

    That all,
    Thank you....

  4. Assalamualaikum and very good evening…

    How are you?

Now, I want to share with you about one article that discussing about environment. The article is ‘Importance of Trees’.

Trees are very important to us because it give us many benefits such as material to make our house, table, and so on. Furthermore, it also gives habitat for animals. The importance of trees cannot be under-restimated. Besides supplying us with timber and fruits, they are an important source of oxygen and fresh air. They release moisture and give out oxygen during photosynthesis and absorb dirt, dust and noise. In this way, they help to decrease carbon dioxide in the air.

Therefore, cutting down of trees causes adverse effects on the physical landscape. It will causes soil erosion, landslides and brings about river and air pollution.

So, we can help keep the environment green by taking part in activities related to conserving nature and recycling. The university clubs should organize talks on recycling, landscape and so on. So, we can make our University Malaysia Pahang more beautiful, clean and attractive.

There are some uses of trees:

    KEEP ENVIRONMENT CLEAN
    •source of oxygen
    •absorbs dirt, dust and noise
•decrease carbon dioxide in the air

    PROTECT LANDSCAPE
    •prevents floods
    •prevent soil erosion
    •prevents landslides

Finally, I can conclude that we must take care of our environment because if we not doing that, it will effect to us.

    Thank you.

  5. Assalamualikum and hello to miss syafawati and my friends...

Now,I will share about what I have read yesterday.
This time,I read a poem from my friend's blog. The poem is about friendship. This is the poem:

    Friends,
Anger is only one letter short of danger,
    If someone betrays you once,it is his fault;
If he betrays you twice,it is your fault
    Great minds discuss ideas;
    Average minds discuss events;
    Small minds discuss people..

    He,
    who loses money,loses much;
    He,
    who loses a friend,loses much more;
    He,
    who loses faith,loses all..
Beautiful young people are accidents of nature,
But beautiful old people are works of art..
    Learn from mistakes of others..
You can't live long enough to make them all yourself...

    Friends,
    You and me...
    You brought another friend...
    And then there were 3...
    We started our group...
    Our circle of friends...
    And like that circle...
There is no beginning or end...
    Yesterday is history...
    Tomorrow is mystery...
    Today is a gift...
That is why it is called the present...

Many people will walk in and out of your life but only true friend will leave footprints in your heart. So,to handle yourself, use your head and to handle others, use your heart.

As the conclusion,I think we should appreciate our friendship and never break it until we die as friends are priceless gift for us.

  6. Assalamualaikum to Miss Syafawati and my friends..

    My dear friends…

Do you realise, we just have approximately one month to finish our semester 2 for the first year in Universiti Malaysia Pahang. Do you planning to lose some of that extra weight you gained over the holidays? Other than going to the gym, and losing weight the hard way, you can consider changing your dietary habits. You must realise that not all dieting schemes persuade you into starving yourself and using diet pills to lose weight may affect your health in the long run.

Below, I will let you in on some diet tips for quick weight loss:

    1. Drink plenty of water:
Water is undoubtedly the most important catalyst in order to lose weight, and keeping it controlled for a longer term. Water is responsible of flushing out waste from your kidneys, in turn metabolizing your stored body fat. Water also acts as a suppressant keeping the stomach full, and keeping your appetite controlled, and prevents dehydration which is sometimes the main cause for false hunger and craving. Drinking iced water makes your body burn about 62 calories as your body works to level out the waters temperature with your body’s temperature. This sums up to about 430 calories burnt…simply by drinking water.

    2. Eat at regular intervals throughout the day:
Try to eat at least 5 times a day. This includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks at different times throughout the day. Don’t miss breakfast, as it’s considered to be the most important meal of the day and should help you to avoid overeating at other meals. Master the art of portioning the quantity of all your meals.

    3. Consume plenty of Fibres:
Adequate intakes of fibre by your body help to keep your bowels more active and help the mobility and processing of food. Fibrous foods gives a more prolong fuller feeling, controlling your hunger. Fibrous foods have fewer calories so the total calorie intake is also curtailed. Potatoes, beans, brown rice, broccoli and nuts are a great source of fibre.

    4. Take foods containing “good” fats:
Good fats are comprised of essential fatty acids such as linoleic and linolenic acids, which is very necessary for natural reproduction and growth. Good fats are also play a part in the production of prostaglandin, which is responsible for regulating your blood pressure, averts blood clots and lowering the risk of various heart related diseases. Having oily fish in your diet is a good source of obtaining good fat. It also helps in efficient weight loss

    5. Quality Protein:
Quality protein immensely contributes in weight control as it posses the ability to make you feel fuller for a longer period of time. Good protein is also responsible for regulating carbohydrates by warding off sudden increases in insulin production, which cause energy loss and generates sugar craving. Fish, low fat cottage cheese, shrimps, skimmed milk, egg white are good choices of quality protein.

    6. Importance of Carbohydrates:
There have been a lot of rumours about too much carbohydrates being very harmful for the body, but don’t count on everything you hear. Carbohydrates can actually help you in quick weight loss. Consuming food containing carbohydrates along with moderate fats and calories in you diet can help you to lose weight. Fruits, vegetables and wholegrain are a good source of carbohydrates and also help to regulate hunger spikes.

With these pointers in mind, I truly believe that your next diet will be a successful one. All the best!

  9. Assalamualaikum

Lately I was reading about human physical. It was the brain. The brain is just 2% of the body weight, it receives 15% of the cardiac output, 20% of total body oxygen consumption, and 25% of total body glucose utilization. The demands of the brain limit its size in some species, such as bats. The brain mostly utilizes glucose for energy, and deprivation of glucose, as can happen in hypoglycemia, can result in loss of consciousness. Ever hear about hypoglycemia? Hypo means many meanwhile glycaemia means glucose. Then hypoglycemia means high content of glucose or likely will cause diabetes.
Even though it is protected by the skull and meninges, surrounded by cerebrospinal fluid, and isolated from the bloodstream by the blood-brain barrier, the delicate nature of the brain makes it vulnerable to numerous diseases and several types of damage. Because these problems generally manifest themselves differently in humans than in other species, an overview of brain pathology and how it can be treated is deferred to the Human brain, Brain damage, and Neurology articles.
Brain and mind, what the relationship between both of it or its just a same? Understanding the relationship between the physical brain and the functional mind is a challenging problem both philosophically and scientifically. The most straightforward scientific evidence that there is a strong relationship between the physical brain matter and the mind is the impact physical alterations to the brain, such as injury and drug use, have on the mind. The mind-body problem is one of the central issues in the history of philosophy which asks to consider if the correlation between the physical brain and the mind are identical, partially distinct, or related in some unknown way. There are three major schools of thought concerning the answer: dualism, materialism, and idealism. Dualism holds that the mind exists independently of the brain, materialism holds that mental phenomena are identical to neuronal phenomena and idealism holds that only mental substances and phenomena exist. In addition to the philosophical questions, the relationship between mind and brain involves a number of scientific questions, including understanding the relationship between thought and brain activity, the mechanisms by which drugs influence thought, and the neural correlates of consciousness. Thus, appreciate what u been give and run away from drugs.

  10. Assalamualaikum and a very good evening...

A few days ago my friend had send me a poem about a woman, the beauty of the woman. However I was just manage to post it here today because my roomate open it accidentally and I think that I want to share with you all. Here are the poem :

    THE BEAUTY OF A WOMAN

    The beauty of a woman
Is not in the clothes she wears,
    The figure that she carries,
Or the way she combs her hair.

    The beauty of a woman
must be seen from in her eyes,
Because that is the doorway to her heart,
    the place where love resides.

    The beauty of a woman
is not in a facial mole,
But true beauty in a woman
    Is reflected in her soul.

It is the caring that she lovingly gives,
    The passion that she shows,
And the beauty of a woman
    With passing years-only grows!

    You don't stop laughing because you grow old;
you grow old because you stop laughing

So, for the man out there, you should read this poem before you choose someone to brighten your day...for the woman too, make this poem as a guide for you and remind you that, if a man choose you just because he said he like you just by looking at your appearance, just remember that, that type of love will never long.

lately,i have read a article about the benefits of public speaking.we have done this activity in our class right??it seem similiar for us.did anyone practice that activity in our life??in that article said that the benefits of public speaking are best appreciated when understanding that speech is a gift.taking the gift of human speech to the level of public speaking promotes it into an art.to master the art of public speaking requires mastery of other arts as well.

Public speaking in its simplest form is speaking in public.thus virtually everyone will have to speak publicly in some form at some time in their life.

  15. hello..

today, i had read the news about pregnant teenagers raped.I really interested to read it.It happened at Petaling Jaya.In that news said a pregnant teenager was raped by a man entrusted by her boyfriend to look after her.
To add insult to injury, the 16-year-old girl was also left to deal with the trauma on her own after her boyfriend did not return for her.

The incident occurred in a house in Damansara on Saturday, where the girl had stayed with her boyfriend.

It is learnt that the boyfriend had asked his friend if he could stay with the girl who was four months pregnant. The friend then raped the girl as soon as the boyfriend stepped out of the house.

The girl went back to her parents' house and after relating her ordeal, lodged a report at the police station here.
Police picked up the boyfriend on Saturday and are now looking for his friend. Petaling Jaya police chief Assistant Commissioner Arjunaidi Mohamed confirmed the case.

I want to share about the short stories I have read at online. The stories about how the girl really want to study overseas but her father not really agree with her decision. She apply the sponsorship from JPA without letting her father know.
Then she went to interview and success to get the sponsorship to study in UK. One night, her brother tell her about how care their father to them and ask her to study in local university. Lastly, after few years, she graduate from local university and get the first class degree. She is only the malay student in her class which get the highest result among the other. She feel very happy because she has success and also make her father happy and proud with her.
In this story, it teach us how important the father bless and we still can be success where ever we study.

  18. Hi miss..
Lately..I had read one of the famous book that is written by Lynne Spears (Britney's mum).(I admit that i do love Britney when I was a kid).thats why I read this book to know more about their family's life.....It is about Spear's family story (based on the real story)as told by Lyne.. Here i wanted to share the synopsis :when Britney became the biggest pop star on the planet, few people least of all her mother,Lyne could have envisioned how things would turn around. She shares how fame changed her family. She also showed her regrets and the challenges she has faced with Brit's meltdown and Jamie Lynn's preagnancy...The most part I like in this book is I found that she paints a convincing tale of a women, above everything else, she simply want to be a mother to her kids eventhough she faced lots of rough situations...It is touching story and i felt very empathising with her...oh..I forgot to mention the title.."through the storm"..

this articles tells me how to make my own perfumed, now i will share it with all of you:
    1)prepare all this thing.
    # Ethyl alcohol
    # Distilled water
    # Bergamot essential oil
    # Lavender essential oil
    # Bottles

2)Acquire the needed ingredients for the homemade perfume. You'll need four tablespoons of ethyl alcohol, two cups of distilled water, ten drops of bergamot essential oil and ten drops of lavender essential oil.

    3) Find a dark, airtight bottle. For the purpose of making homemade perfume, a glass bottle will work best.

4)Fill your bottle with the distilled water. Then add in the ethyl alcohol, the bergamot essential oil and the lavender essential oil. Shake the bottle gently until all the contents fully mix. The order in which you mix in the contents doesn't matter.

5)Store the bottle in a cool, dry place for 48 hours. Avoid letting sunlight get in contact with the bottle. Once the 48 hours are up, again gently shake the bottle. Use a small dab to test out your new perfume. If you are satisfied, use it as you would any other type of perfume. If you are not satisfied, you can make another batch and adjust the level of lavender oil.

so i have share the steps to make the perfumed, so try by your own.

PS; any problems occur when you are making this perfumed is totally under your own responsibilities.

Among my female friends, there're only a few of them that have the same interest as me.Honestly,I love to read. But don't be suprise when I say that my all time favourite reading material is MANGA.For your information, manga is a comic from Japan. My favourite manga is One Piece and Yakitate Japan.I find that the story from the mangas are so fascinating. They're full of suprises.Altough it was fictional,I personally think that most of the stories have it own morale value that we can practice in our life.Almost all of the mangas that I've read tells a story about the journey of life, the meaning of true friendship, believing yourself and how hardwork will pay you back in return. These are the aspects that we have to possess in our life. These are the values that are slowly fading as we live on day by day.We may be advance in technology, but we slowly forget the meaning of life. That is why I really love to read manga. They may be fictional, but the character are not hypocrite. That's all from me.Thank you.

i want to share my knowledge about corrosion
Corrosion usually defined as destructive and unintentional attack of a metal. The process occur electrochemical and ordinary begins at the surface. It has been estimate that 5% of industrialized nation income is spent on corrosion prevention and the maintenance or replacement of product lost or contaminated as a result of corrosion reaction.

Yet we know that corrosion is a deterioration process of metal, the process occur if there is electrochemical reaction which usually defined as Reduction-Oxidation (REDOX) Reaction. When metal atoms characteristically lost or give up electron, this process is called Oxidation Reaction. The site which the oxidation takes place is called anode, oxidation usually called Anodic Reaction.

    M --> Mn+ + ne-

    Fe --> Fe2+ + 2e-

As the REDOX process occur simultaneously, the electron generated from metal atom that is oxidized must be transferred and become a part of chemical species in what is termed Reduction Reaction. The location at which the reduction occurs is called cathode.

    Mn+ + ne- --> M

    2H+ + 2e- -->H2

    O2 + 4H+ 4e- --> 2H2O

    Or;

    Mn+ + e- --> M(n-1)+

    O2 + 2H2O + 4e- --> 4 (OH-)

In the most common use of the word, this means a loss of electrons of metals reacting with water and oxygen, in other hand 3 main condition for corrosion to occur are (i) the metal must be in contact with an electrolyte (ii) dissolved substances/ ions, i.e. oxygen, or hydrogen ions and (iii) presence of a corrosion cell, i.e. a portion of the metal is an anode (oxidation) and the other part is a cathode (reduction).

Practically, corrosion does occur if there is crack, surface being covered by dirt or because of mechanical stress.

Can we control corrosion? Sure, there is career as Corrosion Engineer, person who helps us to control and preventing the corrosion to occur. There are 3 common categories to prevent corrosion which is Metallic, Ceramic and Polymeric. In Metallic, we might use chrome plating or galvanized with steel technique. While in ceramic, we used stainless steel or enamel it with porcelain. Thus in polymeric we used paint.

Other than mention above the Cathodic protection is one of the ways to control corrosion. Cathodic Protection is defined as a reduction of corrosion on the metal surface, which involves making this metal surface the cathode of a corrosion cell. This can be achieved by sacrificing a more active metal or by impressing direct current. Sacrificial anodes e.g. magnesium, zinc, aluminum utilizes the galvanic potential to drive the anode in order to protect the structure from corrosion.

  24. Hello everyone...
Last 21 March 2009, I have a camping at Taman Negara Sungai Relau, Kuala Lipis under PEMADAM club. One of the activities is make a theatre and one of group had make about Romeo and Juliet. Many people talk about love of Romeo and Juliet but don’t know the real story. So, today I want to share this story and hope you can take the moral of the story and always appreciates your lover.

This author of this book is Michael J. Arndt. The play opens with a brawl between two rival families, the Capulet and the Montague. The town authority, Escalus, breaks up the fight and threatens death for anyone “who disturbs our streets”. A great celebration is being planned by the Capulet to which everyone in the town is invited, except the Montague. The primary reason for the party is to introduce their soon-to-be marriageable daughter, Juliet to an influential young lord in the town, Paris. The Montague lads, Romeo and his cousin, Benvolio along with their friend Mercutio, decide to attend in disguise.

From the moment Romeo sees Juliet from across the room, he is enchanted with her. He woos her with sweet words to such an effect that Paris is immediately forgotten, and Juliet only has eyes for the strange young man. Though Juliet’s cousin Tybalt notices the presence of an enemy, Capulet heeds the warning of the authorities and the party comes to an end without a fight. Romeo sneaks back into the garden, where he hears Juliet talking to herself about the danger of loving an enemy. Their overwhelming attraction for one another with all the passion of the young, results in the exchange of vows of love and a plan to marry in secret the very next day.

Romeo confesses his love to Father Lawrence and begs him to marry them. Father Lawrence consents when he considers that the marriage might end the feud between the families and bring peace to the town. The two lovers are married and go their separate ways, until they may be together in the secret of the night. However, in the meantime, Tybalt attempts to pick a fight with Romeo. Romeo refuses on the grounds of his secret love, but Mercutio takes up his sword to return Tybalt’s insult. Mercutio is killed and Romeo, enraged at the death of his friend, kills Tybalt and is banished by Escalus.

Romeo and Juliet have one night of wonderment as they explore their new found love, before Romeo must flee the city. The strength of their love for one another transcends the uncertain future, yet a shadow hovers over them. Unaware of this secret marriage, the Capulet go ahead with their plans for Juliet to wed Paris. In a panic, fuelled to almost suicidal proportions by her young passionate nature, Juliet goes to Father Lawrence for help. He gives her a sleeping potion that will make her appear “as though dead” and assures her he will get word to Romeo of the subterfuge. When she awakes they will be reunited.

But the message goes astray, Romeo receives word of his young wife’s death through another source. Blinded by grief, Romeo returns to the town, determined to be with her in death. He meets Paris at her tomb and kills him. Then at the side of his love’s body, drinks a fatal draught of poison. Juliet upon awaking too late sees her love dead beside her and using his dagger takes her own life. Father Lawrence arrives at the scene, too late to divert the tragedy. The two families are left with their double grief, but as Escalus points out, not until their pride and foolishness killed the joys of their households.

  26. Assalamualaikum and hello to everyone...
Today I want to talk about a marriage to all of you.
The number of cohabiting couples in the United State has exploded since 1960. The primary attitude driving most cohabitation in the late 1960s and early 1970s was a very anti-marriage sentiment that proclaimed marriage as "only a piece of paper."

Today, it is a different attitude driving cohabitation. Many believe living together before marriage will serve as a good testing ground for the relationship, a sort of test drive. Just the opposite is true. Others saw their parents divorce in large numbers and they are gun-shy about entering marriage and having it fail. So they decide just to live together to see if the relationship will work.
So, that's why nowadays, many people will do like that and especially in the west country. Majority have not married, but just stay together without going through the marriage.

  27. Love???
love is divided into two categories.

    Impersonal love

A person can be said to love a country, principle, or goal if they value it greatly and are deeply committed to it. Similarly, compassionate outreach and volunteer workers' "love" of their cause may sometimes be borne not of interpersonal love, but impersonal love coupled with altruism and strong political convictions. People can also "love" material objects, animals, or activities if they invest themselves in bonding or otherwise identifying with those things. If sexual passion is also involved, this condition is called paraphilia.

    Interpersonal love

Interpersonal love refers to love between human beings. It is a more potent sentiment than a simple liking for another. Unrequited love refers to those feelings of love that are not reciprocated. Interpersonal love is most closely associated with interpersonal relationships. Such love might exist between family members, friends, and couples. There are also a number of psychological disorders related to love, such as erotomania.
Throughout history, philosophy and religion have done the most speculation on the phenomenon of love. In the last century, the science of psychology has written a great deal on the subject. In recent years, the sciences of evolutionary psychology, evolutionary biology, anthropology, neuroscience, and biology have added to the understanding of the nature and function of love.

  30. Assalamualikum and greetings to all
the topic that i would like to share is..Beauty is Pain
"Beauty is pain"...is a quote that we always hear these days. Why?? Because to become beautiful there are lots of chance of getting hurt.

For example, people who want to make him or her fair or maybe to reduce their acne immediately. The product that they use usually will have side effect. Even though, it will have side effect there are still people using it as they didn't mind the pain that they will suffer.

Besides that, there are also people who like to do plastic surgery. It is also one of the example of the beauty is pain. But normally the plastic surgery will not always become good some of it will be ugly and looks like a monster...hehe...

well that's all from me daa...

  31. Assalamualaikum and very good morning to everybody.
I want to share about an article “10 Old Wives’ Tales Debunked”

I think this entire situation was familiar with us. In our daily life, since we are young children till now, we often hear sayings that were intended to frighten us into being good or convince us to eat better. Looking back, some of these childhood proverbs do not even make much sense. However, there are quite a few axioms out there that people still believe in. That’s why that article decided to investigate 10 common old wives’ tales to see how they hold up under scientific analysis. From the moon’s affect on crime sprees to the true causes of colds, this list is sure to surprise even the most enlightened among you.

    1. Sitting too close to the TV will ruin your eyes.
False: Couch potatoes around the world will feel vindicated to learn that this warning isn’t true. According to WebMD.com, the worst thing that can happen as a result of sitting too close to the screen is a nagging headache.

    2. Taking a swim less than one hour after eating will give you life-threatening cramps.
False: Countless kids were scared into thinking that if they went back in the water less than 60 minutes after eating, they would cramp up and drown. But according to MayoClinic.com, it’s perfectly safe to swim after you eat a light meal or snack. The site does recommend taking a break after eating a big meal, however–not because of cramping, but due to lethargy.

    3. Chocolate causes acne.
False: All those years of teenage angst weren’t caused your weakness for Hershey’s Kisses after all. The American Academy of Dermatology says acne is not caused by any specific type of food, including chocolate. The adolescent affliction is, in fact, beyond your control, since it’s linked to the levels of testosterone in your body.

    4. Feed a cold, starve a fever. (Or is it starves a cold, feed a fever?)
False: According to WebMD.com, starving is never a good idea–under any condition. When you’re ill, your body requires nutrients from all the different types of food in a well-balanced diet, including fruits, vegetables, yogurt and protein and, of course, chicken soup.

    5. Carrots improve your eyesight.
Partially True: The American Optometric Association found that 48% of Americans still believe carrots are the best food for eye health. And though the root vegetable does have beta-carotene and Vitamin A, which are good for night vision, even healthier for the eyes are dark leafy greens like spinach, which contain lateen and zeaxanthin. Popeye was on to something, after all.

    6. Cracking knuckles causes arthritis.
False: Here’s another parental fear tactic that isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. John H. Klippel, MD, Arthritis Foundation President and CEO, recently told USAToday.com that he doesn’t “know of any evidence that suggests that cracking one’s knuckles actually can cause arthritis.”

    7. An apple a day keeps the doctor away.
Partially True: This saying has been around since before the discovery of an apple’s vital nutrients: Vitamin C and polyphenols. Regardless, the core of the matter is that while this fruit will help keep you well, it’s not always enough to keep you out of the medical danger zone.

    8. Lightning never strikes the same place twice.
False: According to the National Weather Service, lightning can strike the same place numerous times. In fact, the Empire State Building is hit an average of 25 times a year–the reason why it was once used as a lightning laboratory.

    9. Going out in the cold with wet hair causes sickness.
False: Either wet or dry hair significantly increases your chances of getting sick. WebMD.com says colds are solely caused when viruses are passed from one person to another, so you should be more concerned with how often you wash your hands, not your hair.

    10. More crime occurs during a full moon.
False: Many interesting things are thought to increase during a full moon: emergency room visits, accidents, fertility, werewolves. Almost all these phenomena are attributed to the Lunar Effect, which tries to link deviant behavior and the phases of the moon. However, according to myth-buster and syndicated columnist, Cecil Adams, there is no truth at all behind the theory.

  32. Assalamualaikum..
today i want to share about "advice on relationship". To people who in love, it is suitable for you to read this.

Romantic partnerships are part and parcel of the human condition and are a necessary part of our daily experience. From time immemorial, people have sought varying advice on relationships: how to get them, how to keep them, and how to finish them. Seeking the council of friends and are some ways to gain a broader perspective. People may also take cues from the media, in the form of popular magazines, newspaper columns and television shows- that help them relate the experiences of others into their own lives.
Good friends can often be the first port of call when one is seeking sound advice on relationships. Friends will often lend a kind ear to your relationship troubles, and celebrate your love interests when things are going well. One downside to spilling out your heart to friends is that, though they care and sympathize with you, they often will remain loyal to your interests. If you profess that you no longer want anything to do with boyfriend X, label him a lout who treats you abominably, and then return to him the following day, friends are not normally as sympathetic to your woes as they once were. If you tend to do this chronically, friends may not want to hear about your on-again, off-again relationship altogether.
Asking family members advice on relationships may also be an emotional minefield, from which there may inevitably be casualties. Parents and siblings normally have your best interests at heart, and they can be even more fiercely loyal to you then friends. The saying “blood is thicker than water” has serious implications in this instance. They can be harsh judges of character, wishing to protect you from hurt. Confessing your fears about a partner may only serve to make them more cautious of your partner, and you can almost guarantee the next Sunday lunch together may probably be tense.
For women, popular magazines and love columns are an anonymous way of finding advice on relationships. Topics can range from dating to sex, friendship conflicts to familial acrimony. They usually appear in question and answer form, where one appointed “expert” responds to people’s problems. These columns are only helpful if you trust the respondent and the question asked is relevant to your life. If instead, you need a more immediate response and don’t wish to ask someone, relationship books often help to negotiate the complicated web of love. Psychologists or academic experts in the field may sometimes write these pieces, but the advice they give is not relevant to everyone.
Whether consciously or not, we often take advice on relationships through the media. Songs, films and television programs help to paint vivid pictures of relationship ideals and horrors. They may seem so idealized that they appear far removed from our day-to-day experiences, but they may be a balm for some, or an unrealistic model for others. Whichever the case may be, the media gives veiled advice on what we value and what we take for granted in our society.
If one is seeking help in solving a problem in their relationship, it doesn’t seem that there is a shortage of people willing to give advice. The most important thing to remember is that you are ultimately the sole bearer of responsibility for the decisions you make. It is therefore in your best interests to trust yourself above all. You are, in the end, the best suited of them all to give advice on your own relationship.
    That"s all. Thank you.

  33. Grreetings to all..

I just read an article about the consequences of scrambling.
Nowadays, we can see...a lot of people are lacking in manners.
I can't say that I'm perfect but I really hope that people will realised that we really need to consider one's feeling.
Like the article I've read just now, two cars have stucked with each other in the toll's lane just because both of the owner didn't want to lose their ego.

Forst of all, we really have to negotiate with one anotrher. Many people think that the one who is surrender is a real loser. Think again. What if both of the two people won't surrender.
We all can expect that things could be even worse right?
Like the car-stucking incident, both of the car owner don't want to lose their face and see what have happened?
Both car got stucked and both of the car got dented.
    Same with friendship...
Maybe some of our friends have been guilty towards us but apology must be accepted right?
May be that is not her/his intention to hurt our feelings but mistakes happened, right?
Even our prophet forgave the one who'd done mistakes to him, so, why can't we?

But, the one who has committed the mistakes must not do it again and must regret of what she/he has done.
Don't think that once you have been forgiven, you can do it again...
You must take that as a lesson to take care of your friendship.
Most of all, avoid backstabbing. It's not good for you and your friends.
    Remember that!

  34. Assalamualaikum and very good morning...

now i would like to share a lot of information from the book that i already read for a long time.
It the book from reader's digest, such a big and thick book.. Entitled 101 ways to improve your memory.
In this side, I would like to share about one of the subtopic from this book entitled 'THE FIVE SENSES':
we already know that human has five senses that are SIGHT, SMELL, TASTE, TOUCH and HEARING.
These five senses actually channels to our brain.it are through the senses that all data is registered and gradually accumulates to become the rich and fertile ground that constitutes our memory.
Each of the senses is adjusted to a certain range of wavelength. these waves will be captured by different organs.
The information carried by our senses is recognized, continuously analyzed and processed by specialized areas of the brain.
Here are the areas that detect each of our senses.
    1) Associative sphere:
    - all the sensory information is combined to give an accurate overall perception
    2) sensitive sphere:
    - it receive tactile information, from the head to the feet.
    3) Gustatory sphere:
    - this is the zone where taste is interpreted
    4) visual sphere:
    - coming straight to retina, the first images gradually take shape.
    5) Auditory sphere:
    - sounds are transmitted here to analyzed
    6) olfactory sphere:
this is the zone near the hippocampus where smells are synthesized.
